2025-01-15 06:36:02 +0000 UTChii :) I've realised I haven't commented here for some time, although these are probably the stream of consciousness that don't interest anyone... but I've made my notes, so I've come back!! 😅🤷🏽♀️ Most of these are just the things I've noticed from the brilliant writing in this series... Here we goooo 😬🥰 - Right before we understand that the team is rehearsing that dance, Beard says "they're not in sync" ... and they were dancing NSYNC 😂 also, notice the "justin timberlake" style hair on Jamie... I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to have him have that hair the whole season for this! They've done other stuff like this (with names and physical characteristics), I'll point them out when I see them - the "hand toes" is a callback to the Led Tasso episode when he called toes "feet fingers" 😂 - Don't forget that very random play idea that Higgins had: a millionaires and a footballer go to a restaurant and have their meal for free because they find a little piece of glass in the food. It's sooo random at this point that most people forget. I also love the reactions: Rebecca is WTF? and Keeley, ever the non-judgemental unicorn she is "wow I wish i could write fiction" 😂 - The scene where Rebecca tells Ted about her relationship with Sam is so lovely. She has come to his rescue but he always knows what to tell her, even if mostly he just get on her nerves with puns 😂😂 It's also great the call back of him thinking she means Samuel L Jackson. He also thought John Stamos when she was dating the other guy. He always thinks she's dating famous people. - The scene of Higgins saying a pun ("don't letter get away with it") to have Ted return and accept Dr Sharon's letter is another little comeback to that very early scene in season 1 when Ted storms back and scares the living hell out of Rebecca cause Higgins says a salad pun ("Caesar you later!") 😂 - The mount of self-hatred in Nate here when he spits after kissing Keeley 😫😫 It's mostly just one more scene but for me it's soooo tense. He keeps fucking up and I wanna hate him but these little moments have me hurting for him. It's also interesting how Keeley tells him they're fighters and want/deserve more, but she talks about Rebecca as an inspiration while Nate is literally rebelling against Ted and everyone else, in his downward spiral !! - The Keeley and Roy thing starting here is interesting. We can't forget Keeley's career is taking off and Roy's just had a massive shift cause he had to retire. I love their honesty to each other, open books, but everything is affecting them and you've seen 3x1 by now, so you know what's happened. - About Dr Sharon's letter to Ted... I think it's interesting they didn't show us what it says, but I still think about it could be but we know she used the word "favourite" right at the beginning. Did she mean Richmond was her favorite workplace maybe? or Ted specifically? Either way, it means that her time here was special. - I don't know what this means, but I find it interesting that Sharon knows Mae by name... specially cause there's a moment later in season 3 where they show us that an important character didn't know Mae this whole time. Is Sharon often at the pub too?... - That conversation when Rebecca is waiting for Sam at his house... that's the scene where you see his house door (callback to his username in the app LDN152). Also, you said that what she said wasn't useful, but I think it was. She was honest! She told him what she'd like, but also that she can't give him an answer so he should base his decision on that. If he was wondering, he would never force her, so she told him and now he knows. - TOTALLY AGREE with Dr Sharon's calm energy... here the link of the panel where they reveal that Sarah Niles (the actress) can't ride a bike and it was movie magic 😂 it's at 54:37 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFJYkPPMhPc ALSO, is your phone ringing with Sheldon's "BAZINGA" ? that cracked me up!!
