And we meet Urich. A reporter with a drive to report on "real" matters to the people as well as seeing to the welfare of his wife.
And we finally see him! HIM!

On Daredevil, I'm curious/apprehensive to see what Disney will do with it, and enjoying this rewatch. I really appreciated the distinct vibe each of the Netflix series' had - Daredevil is all 60s Catholic guilt (ergo no killing for Matt), boxing, newspapers, Luke Cage 70s black culture, Jessica Jones 90s emo/grunge and a talkshow queen. But yes all are so dark! I need some hope, or promise for the future. I wasn't so keen by the time they got to Iron Fist - privileged unlikeable rich white kid (Millennial? era) is somehow a Buddhist/martial arts saviour. I think it could have been more interesting/culturally appropriate if they'd updated it so he was actually asian. Must admit I had no desire to watch Punisher - again where's the hope? or is it just lots of never ending violence.

It's not to my liking, but I'm going down the list of cocktails in the International Bartenders guidebook, and the Alpine Cocktail is one of the first. That stuff is not cheap! During the move last summer, it did not survive. The bag it as in fell off the cart just outside the front door. :(

We just discovered one called the Last Word which is very drinkable: equal parts gin, green Chartreuse, maraschino liqueur, and freshly pressed lime juice, shake and strain.
