Took me long to comment but I’m almost already grieving this cause you’re almost done with Ted Lasso!! 😩😩 Here my extensive list of details from this episode 😬 - This one is random, but that first scene with Roy dressed in black riding a bike and Jamie running dressed in pink was a meme I’ve seen around about that Oppenheimer / Barbie opening weekend 🤣 - I think Jade started being open to Nate when he started being himself!! 🤷🏻♀️ I love her vibe! Without knowing much about, she put him in his place!! - At the restaurant, Sam might be the boss, but those women run the show! I’m not against it! - we already know Beard speaks Dutch and doesn’t want Jan to know. That’s why it’s so funny on that PowerPoint scene that in mispronounces the Dutch Footballer name - Did you say Pegging’r’us like in Toys’r’us? 🤣🤣 - Jack is a heiress/from a very rich family, she’s mentioned her father (or will, I’m not sure) - Whistle!!! Very happy you have that illustration now to scream WHISTLE with - Foot sex? 🤣🤣 does a foot massage count as foot sex? If yes, I have to rethink some moments in my life - Rebecca saying “But yeah, I would have really liked to have seen his penis” and then biting a chunk of bread 🤣 GIRL, careful! - Yeah, I love Rebecca’s reaction to the bill being paid. Hannah Waddingham can recite French wines lists to me anytime! We know what French does to me - There’s a lot of callbacks with Nate here. Remember Nate brought a suggestion box in one of the first episodes of the 1st season? He says to Ted that it’s something he does with his niece - This Date Map!! Remember Nate’s father was a cartographer? Probably not, but 1st season Nate, when Ted was having problems with his wife, asks him something “why did you move X miles away from your wife?” (Very precise number I don’t remember). Ted is surprised but his accuracy and asks how he knows that and Nate says “my father was a cartographer”… makes total sense his father made a map with all those precise distances to ask on a date the girl that became his wife. - Nate didn’t spit at himself for the first time :) and i think jade was disappointed there, that he left without asking her out. - Will imitating Beard is a highlight for sure!! - This gag of Higgins dropping his tea when he’s startled 👏🏽👏🏽 I don’t remember if this was the first time or if we’ve seen it already at this point, but it happens a lot! - Of course tying the rope to their dicks was Roy’s idea 🤣🤣 - 10 orgasms? I think Keeley does that for free 🤷🏻♀️ - I almost tattooed the “don’t fight back, fight forward” instead of the “sour yell” but I didn’t think I could live up to that too much. A reminder to show my teeth sometimes seems more useful 🤣 - You saying “Forgive them? No, fuck that! You rise like the phoenix” about Sam’s dad advice to Sam… oh I bet that’s a story and I’m curious now!! - Sam’s dad pinches his ears as he said earlier in season 1 on his birthday, Ted mentioned his son when he gave him the army man and Sam said his fathers used to pinch my ear when I’m sad or for good luck (don’t remember which one) - Hannah played that “girlfriend meeting boyfriend’s father” awkwardness AMAZINGLY. Specially cause the father really had a face of “I know what you did with my son!” - Roy unwillingly starting to sound like Ted with puns and one liners 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 “make it stop!” - Love the callback that when Jamie has something to say about total football, he says he doesn’t want to be a prick, and they all give him the middle finger, cause that was Roy’s (and the other coaches) sign for Jamie to be a prick some episodes ago! - Jamie being valued for his knowledge here is awesome!! he’s played for Man City, so he’s been trained by Pep, who teaches exactly that, so he was now an asset for Richmond with what he’s learned! And look at him sharing 🥰 I feel like a proud big sister - And yes, yes, of course I appreciated the orchestra analogy for that beautiful first Total Football goal!! - Trent just described this series: Ted hadn’t changed tactics in one weeks, he’s been working towards it since he arrived to Richmond. Trying to make them better people, better colleagues to each other, trust each other and have each other’s backs!! 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ I love that they sprinkled a little meta description of the series there in Trent’s enthusiastic speech! And now I’ll shut up! I don’t know how some people have said that this season isn’t as strong than the other ones. I think Ted Lasso just gets better, that why I’m not worried at all about a 4th season. Talking about that, don’t google it! They’ve been sharing a bit of a possible premise for a 4th season and it’s a little spoiler for a beautiful brief moment of the Ted Lasso Finale. DONT READ IT! See you at the next episode!! 🥰 I’m not apologizing again for my long comments, it is what it is! 🤷🏻♀️

2025-02-17 23:52:52 +0000 UTCI don't rewatch this one often because I actually think the whole red string bit went on for too long and it took me out of the episode a bit. The whole Sam storyline with his restaurant and dad are so good though so that makes up for it. Rebecca pointing out to Keeley that Jack is love-bombing her is also great. Ps. the blue sweater she was wearing is actually a dress. The costumer designer Jackie Levy, posted a full photo of Hannah wearing it sometime after the episode aired.
