Status Update - August 2022

Hello my dearest patreons, we are into the second half of this year, many might say it's been a horrible year... And you'd be right, let's be honest haha.

But despite all that, you've stuck around, supporting my work, and I can't thank you enough. I keep trying new stuff to make it up for you, always trying to produce the best stuff I can.

Sadly, we are reaching the maximum of the Dropbox account I use to host all the animations; as you might've noticed, the latest post was hosted on vimeo just to see how it works... And it's awful, the download option needs a paid upgrade in which case I might as well pay for the dropbox upgrade. Now, don't worry! I won't raise the price of the membership, with the amount of patreons right now I believe we could afford that no problem, so as long as you can keep supporting me as you've been, nothing will change, otherwise we might have to start deleting the oldest submissions or using other cloud services.

Speaking of keeping quality up, I've been thinking on upgrading my RAM, since that's what After Effects eats up; as of now I have 16GB @ 3200mhz and would upgrade to 32gb @ 3200mhz. However, for those of you who know about this stuff, you'll realize this is entering the forbidden, RAM meme, so maybe it's not worth it... Maybe it is... I have to think about this one....

As for the poll of this month... There will be TWO polls! The results of those polls will merge together, sounds weird, but you'll see what I'm talking about.

Well, that's it really, as I'm pretty much recovered from influenza... Maybe it was fluorona, I no longer know; I still have a weird cough going on, but I'm fine, my sense of smell is almost recovered and I've been resuming my exercise routine without any problems, so I think I'm effectively over it. Again, your support helped me pad the punch of buying medicine and whatnot, so thank you a lot!
