FAQ
Added 2020-10-20 07:32:07 +0000 UTCSo, I switched to recommended payment method "charge up front " as was recommended, some patrons asked how can they pay for the October? If they plan to stay in November, in the 1st November they will make pledge $2 or 4$ for the whole November then what about the past October?
Here's official info for example:
A patron signs up on January 5th for $10/month. On January 25th, you change your payment type so that patrons are charged up front. The patron is charged on February 1st for January patronage. On February 26th, the patron increases their pledge to $15. The patron will be charged $5 on February 26th. Then the patron will be charged $15 on March 1st for March patronage and they will continue to be charged $15 every 1st of the month thereafter until they cancel or edit their pledge.
That means if I change my payment method so that patrons are charged up front, the existing patrons are not affected, you will still be charged on November 1st for October patronage, that's to say in November you'll pay for this October in the old way. But since you will decide to make new pledge in order to remain my patron, with the new payment type you will be charged up front the moment you pledge. I guess it goes that way.
I have PayPal and visa debit card anyways, I mean in case there are troubles with your pledges. Also irl for job I make commissions but they're pretty pricey, starting with $200 and up. I'm making some illustrations for Japan around $400. But here I am making taekook fanarts for free, cause I just love them so much and they mean so much to me, I don't wanna sell it, this patreon is just for my coffee lol and thank you guys for staying here <3
Also a pack or cup of coffee in my country costs between $2 to $4 and I drink coffee twice a day ^_^
