M: Oh my god, we went out one night and I sweet talked him into having a shot with me. Ai! That boy was GONE after one little hot. Started doing karaoke, the bar didn’t even have karaoke. 🤦‍♀️ As embarrassing as that was, I was cussing him out to chill and he slapped me on the butt and said “I just wanna serenade you miz Manoa!” I’d never seen him like that, he was so assertive, I wound up sitting back and enjoying the show. 😂

Honestly, he probably doesn’t have any idea Deedo exists. Unless Waikiki mentioned him... Manoa remains to this day low-key pissed at him for flaking out after knocking her up. She still had a thing for bad boy types for a long time, but he specifically earned a place on her shit-list-for-life. No cookie. 🍪

A pop of color for eyeshadow would help drawn the eyes up to eyelevel (and of you’re like me, you wanna help balance out those stares at the girls, ya?) Manoa was a synthesis of a lot of inspirational characters, folks I knew in real life (I was working at a cafe back in those days) and from models I admired (it was the early 2000s, and butts were having a renaissance, models like chocolate model’s Scarlett and adult films stars like Crystal Clear, Veronica Bottoms, Bunny de la Cruz and more were making their debut). Ultimately I came up with this synthesis of a self-confident sexy and powerful mamajama, and from that I reverse engineered her ideal mate. 😊
