Added 2017-02-21 17:18:02 +0000 UTCI thought I might try drawing just for fun for a change! π I've seen a few artists try out the concept of a robot that could gain weight, and I've wanted to take a run at it myself. Honestly, I find it a fun technical challenge, and I think I sold myself on the mythology for this character.
In the distant future, various highly specialized robots are used in the long process of terraforming planets to make them habitable for organic creatures' survival. One such robot is AQUA, responsible for the transport of liquid materials. A basic human-shaped artificial endoskeleton is overplayed with a series of expandable compartments using a biomechanical "skin". A soft "lipped" nozzle allows for liquid intake. (Cont.)
