Added 2017-02-21 17:25:17 +0000 UTC...as liquid is taken in, the compartments composing her structure are filled and can expand to many, many times their original size while maintaining structural integrity. The liquid can then be transported and dispensed through the electromagnetic openings on her top front two compartments.
There are several benefits to such a design. By mirroring the design of the greatest engineer of all (Mother Nature) AQUA has all the maneuverability and capabilities of a human (somewhat slowed at near max capacity, of course). Her ability to redistribute her internal load ensures a stable center of gravity in the most chaotic of terrain.
I really like this proof of concept, although I feel it's difficult to capture some of the transparency/light diffraction I imagine in this quick pencil sketch. Maybe one of these days I'll render her digitally and we'll really see what for, eh? 😜
