-study- Viktor from Arcane

We finished to watch Arcane and I really liked Viktor! I thought I could ship him with Jayce but I did not like this character at all. And his LOL design is absolutely horrible haha! He looks like an asshole Disney prince!
It was not an easy study! It is quite different from what I am used to paint. I think I fucked up some parts but I'm glad I didn't used any helper to figure out the colors! This style asks for a good understanding of volumes and it is not really easy for me yet! I'd love to make more studies from this show so I could maybe learn some nice lighting/shading tricks!

Vi & Cupcake are also super cute! With my partner we were wondering if we were biased with all the ships we like to make when we watch tv shows or if they were indeed flirting! I want to believe it is canon and that'd explain better the ending with all the tension Jinx tried to create.

I was also surprised to appreciate Jinx! I usually don't really enjoy crazy protagonist, I usually found them weirdly written and there is this horny thing they try to put on crazy female character that I usually dislike (but I can understand why others find it appealing... it is just my cup of tea! :P) But I like how they wrote her in Arcane! I loved her relationship with Silco. The ending was quite moving imo. He was not the perfect dad but I loved that he found her "perfect" despite her craziness and how everyone is against her. He genuinely loved her.

I am curious about the second season! A very dear friend of mine worked on the first one (and I believe she is also working on the second one since she is still working at Fortiche... but because of NDA she can't say much and she is not the most talkative person online neither)! It made me missed my previous job (I was a texturing artist) but that would imply we move to paris to try our chance there and I hate this city for having working there for 6 months. It is a good tourist city, but not nice if you have to work/live there haha! Plus even if it is tough for now, we do enjoy living in Holland.
