I love this idea as a fanfiction but I don't think I'll appreciate this ending for Miguel's character. Of course I want him to be happy but I don't think it is a great message to tell the only way for a parent to feel happiness again is to be reunited with their dead child. I'd prefer for him to opened up more with people around him. I'm really fond of him being friend with Miles or the other kids. :)
I thought Peter could be there as well since he was present during the tragedy.
