I'd like to make more "victorian picture" so I looked at quite some references ! Let me know which one you prefer! I am unsure if i'll be able to finish all of these sketches (but we never know haha)

During my researches I was surprise to find tons of NSFW pictures which looks very legit (really from victorian time) they were quite kinky these people even with all there silly rules/codes hehehehe!

I also read on Reddit that victorian men were super tactile and would old hands or touch each other to show their affection to one another without questioning it until Oscar Wilde's trial. After that men were apparently afraid to send the wrong message so they stopped showing affection toward their friends. I don't know how legit this information is, I know Oscar Wilde's trial was everywhere on the press and a lot of homosexuals fled London during that time. That's kind of pity if it is true and that means we are still very closed minded about men affection toward each others, even nowadays! We're still stuck with this kind of censorship (men still can show a platonic affection that easily), but looking how gender and the young generations is open minded and break a lot of our society codes, I think we are getting in a better direction now! :D

Anyhoo I might draw some NSFW ones as well, but all the ref were way more explicit than i am used to draw so I'll see how I'll beat my shyness! I do want to draw more explicit content but I'm always kind of ashamed? Or very shy? It is silly because I do enjoy when other artists make explicit fanarts and I always look forward to draw such content one day haha!
