I'll try to update something for next week, but I couldn't find a babysitter (and we are getting a more permanent one on janyary 6th) so it is going to be quite tricky for me to work until then! I think I will focus on illustration until then!

I think it’s one of those things that they added later in the years, the more his powers grew the more he could do, etc. I used to RP as Bobby (as a bi-king before he was cannonly gay. WOO.) so I used to be really on top of this stuff. Oh 💯 Scott wouldn’t ever try it, too much of a risk . I think the only way they’d find it out if it was a horrible accident but at least it wouldn’t be a perma-death? Scott would be scarred for life though. Thank you! It’s been a few years since I worked in a shop but I have a white male friend that I had to have a sit down conversation with about how “it’s ok that people might ship Captain America and Bucky even though it’s not canon.” He was trying to drop lore onto me and I had to be like “ok? But I still think that they make out at the end of the day?” Luckily the friend thought long and hard about it and realized he was projecting and was BI. Soooo people are capable of change! And self reflection which is good to know! I’m sorry to hear you dealt with that! Like you said there has been so many ret cons and rewrites that lore is pretty fluid at this point. LET PEOPLE LIKE THINGS. It’s not going to blow up your world if I happen to think Bobby would be a switch hitter or not. Sheesh!

So I don't know much about him. I don't think Scott would ever try it out even if the outcome would be positive. I think he would prefer to wear an inhibitor collar to stop his power for a bit rather than trying something that dangerous 🤔 Ooh I am sorry you have to experience comic bros around you. I can't believe that in 2024 they are still so full of misogyny or being super sexist. Also it annoys me so much that for them the movies or cartoons adaptation are not official lore. Adaptation are as canon as any comics, even if they are garbage. I read a lot of comics that destroyed all kind of lore or continuity....so I wouldn't blame cartoon or movie adaptation to do the same, even if find the result super lame haha!

That would be a terrible way to find out how your powers work, plus Scott would never forgive himself Ahhhh yes, comic bros. The true evil of the nerd verse. I had to deal with my fair share being a woman and working at a comic store, but I always do enjoy putting them in their place.

And the fact that Scott is scared and tense and Bobby is tender and gets him to relax, UGH MY FEELINGS I wonder if eventually since Bobby is an Omega level mutant would he be able to look at Scott’s eyes while in Ice form? He can reconstitute just from molecules in air if I remember correctly. Maybe there is something he can do like Jean did in the 3rd X-men movie, using her tk to hold Scott’s powers back
