Chapter 93

As Xiao Long discovered uses of the new Creation material he started to add it to his Workshop.

This was a test, he needed to figure out how good this stuff was in actual use.

Most of the stuff he created beforehand were solid barrier walls for maximum Profound Energy flow.

Yet, this stuff was as good as a barrier wall and easier to make in large quantities.

At first, he changed some basic infrastructure and proceeded to test it out.

"Oh…fascinating… it's like clay… I can give it a form and then make it solid." He mumbled to himself, as Young Master looked like a kid who was playing in the sandbox.

First, he replaced non-essential things in his workshop, like the flooring.

This was when he realised that he could keep all the creation artefacts underground, making his workplace look clean without obstructions.

It would make it look clean.

"...Yes, it would look so nice!" As he mumbled to himself he proceeded to work just on that!

As this was happening Huan Caiyi just sighed and looked at hyped-up Xiao Long.

'What should I do now? He is like a little boy who got a new toy.'

Soon enough she saw him designing something on one of those artefacts, then ripping out the wooden floor, then digging holes, recycling the dirt.

It looked like he was making a Basement floor.

The longer this was going on the less she understood what he was doing.

He dug out most of the floor and then proceeded to coat the walls of this hole with the new material, then he started to lower all of the artefacts and things like that.

The thing was on her mind how he would access all of this.

She didn't see any sort of stairs. Will he use his floating ability to access this basement floor?

Well, he didn't connect this underground place with his Bloodline Forge.

Then he started to add the floor but the floor was strange. He was doing something to it with the runes and inscriptions.

Regardless it was making no sense to her so she proceeded to cultivate in an old fashioned way. This was far too confusing to her.

She would rather do something she is good at.

Sometime later Huan Caiyi was able to make him stop for a bit and take a breather.

Her goal is to get back to training but she is embarrassed to casually mention such a thing. So instead she was able to take him out of his workshop and return to the mansion inside the original Xiao Clan grounds.

"Oh… so these are the elf girls I got from the Elf Clan." Xiao Long got distracted the moment he entered the mansion.

He was a beautiful girl with long ears and translucent wings.

The Ex-Empress swore under her breath. Her luck is garbage!

"Yes. Young Master. I am Tianxia Diqi."

Her name made Huan Caiyi stop in her tracks for a second.

"You are the Young Miss of the Elf Clan. What are you doing here?" The Ex-Empress exclaimed with some shock. Wasn't she the elf clan's biggest 'treasure'!?

"Oh?" Xiao Long's expression was that of increased curiosity.

Did he get another Young Mistress? That's quite the pull he has.

"I am here to serve the Young Master with all of my abilities." The girl calmly explained herself.

"...I am surprised that Tianxia Xiongtu decided to send you here."

The girl's reaction to this was strange. While she indeed simply nodded there was quite a bit of hesitation in her actions.

Something Huan Caiyi noticed.

While Xiao Long didn't bother at all. She was here, that's all it matters. He finally has an elf beauty! Those ears, that beautiful blond hair and that natural aura. This girl was a true elf beauty.

"Relax Caiyi. What matters is that she is here."

The Ex-Empress slowly nodded her head. Even though she has her suspicions that the girl is here without permission from her father there is not much she can do to change it.

The moment Xiao Long saw her he wouldn't allow her to leave.

That was the elf girl's intention as well. She knows her father can be overbearing and he could plan something, a means for her to be taken away from this place.

But since he saw her now. There is no way he will allow her to be removed.

Well, the first stage of her plan is success. But now the difficult part. Getting close enough for him to use his technique to bring Yun Xiao back.

"Good. Why don't you make us some snacks? I want to see how well such a beauty like you prepare such things." Xiao Long ordered the blonde elf as he got on a comfortable couch and pulled his 'Pet' Empress on his lap.

"Understood."

As the maid left, Huan Caiyi proceeded to speak.

"I think she left her clan without telling her father. That man is overbearing and very protective when it comes to his only daughter."

She explained to him while getting comfortable on his lap, she leaned into him fully.

After a while, she ended up concluding that since she is his pet she might as well get the best out of it.

"...I see… Well, then he should have taken better care of his children." Xiao Long casually commented that he ended up hugging the black-haired girl on his lap.

"...if you say so ... .I was wondering when I will be able to see that water island?" She asked with a curious tone.

In her mind entering that water island where his women are living, is like a milestone which she wants to achieve.

"...Hmm, one day I will take you there."

She blinked a couple of times when she heard his voice. It was quite serious, maybe even intense.

Such an answer made her want to reach that place even more so!

'Like a manifestation of a place where his important people live!?' That was the comparison that she ended up with.

"...Do you have requirements? After all, I am your…pet and we already are close~" Huan Caiyi commented with a sultry voice.

If seduction is needed to reach that place then so be it.

"Maybe after spending some more time." He quite easily rejected her 'advances' which made her scowl. Just how quickly he can 'get over' her like this!

As she was pondering on this the elf maid brought some nicely cut fruits and some other snacks.

"Not bad for a new girl. You have potential." Xiao Long praised her as he started eating the fruits.

The blonde elf maid slowly nodded at his compliment.

"Caiyi, you can start by feeding me these fruits~" The Ex-Empress twitched for several moments but she proceeded to follow what he asked of her. It was embarrassing but she will do it!

Anything he wants she will do it.

While Huan Caiyi is feeding Xiao Long the blonde elf girl looks at this with some annoyance. She could easily do this as well! But he asked the Ex-Empress!

How is she supposed to get close to the Young Master if he does such a thing?

After having a short break, it was time to return to his work.

For a couple of days, the refurbishing work was happening in the Workshop. The flooring has changed, and all of the artefacts ended up underground.

The excess pills joined them as well. This allowed the majority of the workshop to end up as an empty building.

Not that Xiao Long kept it like that in the first place.

He placed several formation cores which turned the whole place into a massive 'computer'.

Now he can 'summon' any one of the artefacts or make any of the pills be elevated from the storage space underneath the new flooring.

With so much free space Xiao Long decided to create a place for monuments, trophies and achievements, as well.

One of the things he named next to a wall was the seventh pedestal. With the Seventh one being 'occupied'. It was a ghostly image of a pendant.

If someone realised what it is they would be shocked as this is a place which imitates the Heavenly treasures he has.

Well, since they are just imitations without any sort of power, it could be difficult.

Regardless, after finishing with renovations, Xiao Long went to see Elder Hall.

"Young Master. The Elf Clan Leader has been asking if he could see you." One of the elders asked him the moment he entered the hall.

"Huh? What does he want?"

"...Something about his daughter being in the Sect."

"What is there to talk about? If she is here, then she is here to cultivate. There is nothing to discuss. Tell him if she is here then she passed all the tests and is worthy of being part of my Supreme Cloud Sect."

"...Yes! As you wish, Young Master."

After that, the Young Master went to see the rest of the Elders.

The occupation progress was smooth. Floating Citadels and regular infrastructure improvements are helping consolidate his rule.

The 'Hospitals' all over the continent are winning favour from cultivation families. One or another way they have people who have wounds, internal wounds or are just old and need some rejuvenation.

Either way, his Sect is getting them in the bag.

That moment one of his imprints on Phoenix just reacted! The bird is hatching!

Xiao Long swiftly got up and left the meeting.

With his speed, it only took him a second to cross the distance.

He appeared in a specially prepared place for Phoenix. It's extremely warm and full of Fire Profound Energy.

As he appeared there the egg already started to crack, the Young Master swiftly approached it and watched curiously how the legendary bird started to get itself free from the egg.

It wasn't a small chick. The godly bird was already as big as an adult eagle, that was his speculation from observing the size of the egg.

As it poked its head from the egg it started to beat up the shell with its wing and beak slowly getting out from its confines.

The Divine Beast was simply a gorgeous creature. Very regal, with orange plumes and a long tail. The air around it felt very warm. It was emitting heat just from being here.

As it got out of the egg the beast looked at Xiao Long.

'It appears your scheme has worked. I am reborn,' A female voice said directly into his mind.

The bird tried to fly but it could not as it tried to beat its wings.

"No need to rush."

Xiao Long offered his hand.

The bird looked at him for a bit before jumping and landing on his hand.

This was where the Young Master started to stroke her elegant neck.

"My Phoenix is very gorgeous."

'It appears I was tricked by you.'

The Goddess Phoenix realised what had happened to her.

"Oh? And how did I trick you?"

'You turned me into a contracted beast.'

"And how is that a trick? I never misled you in any way. I offered an egg to get reborn and you accepted it."

'...Yes. That was correct. I suppose it was my lack of insight.'

After saying that she stopped caring about the whole contract thing. The reason? She loves the affection and finally ability to feel once again!

"I suppose I should prepare a tree with a branch for you to rest on."

He said that while continuing to stroke the Phoenix feathers.

'Yes, that would be for the best.'

There was a certain amount of satisfaction in showing off his Phoenix.

Xiao Long was walking around his Sect. Showing it to his pet phoenix. Not that the Divine Beast cared.

Regardless he was still doing it. It was, after all, a successful project.

Now that he knows Phoenix was reborn it's only a matter of time until Azure Dragon is reborn.

This means he can finally move out and get Golden Crow.

That's the thing with Golden Crow it doesn't have trials, it's fickle and overbearing, even more than Primordial Azure Dragon.

So the best way to get that bird is to show it to that 'Noble One' that he has Phoenix reborn.

He is more than certain that she will easily cave in and become his fifth contracted beast.

But for now, he still needs to have some fun. How could he not? This is a True God reborn.

After showing the core area of the Supreme Cloud Sect he flew over to his Paradise Island.

"Husband?"

"Yue'er! Look! Phoenix finally hatched!" He walked over and showed her the orange bird regally roosting on his hand.

"...What a beautiful bird!" His beautiful wife elegantly walked over and stroked the Divine Bird's plumes.

"I know right!"

"Yes! And such a soothing aura."

"There is no need for you two to constantly praise me like this." The bird tried to play down the attention it was receiving.

"The Phoenix retained its memories!?" Xia Qingyue exclaimed with shock.

"More or less. My memories are filled with gaps. It has been a very long time." The bird sadly explained herself.

"I see… then do you like something to eat?"

"Eat?"

For a moment the bird tried to remember the function 'eat' . It had been millions of years which she had spent as a remnant soul and the rest was as a Divine Beast who didn't even need to eat.

"Yes. We should eat."

"Then I am going to invite my sisters. Xue'er will be ecstatic to see Phoenix finally hatched." Xia Qingyue slightly smiled as she remembered how much Xue'er wanted to see Phoenix reborn.

"You are right. She is the most excited about this."

"The inheritor of my blood? Ah, yes…" The Phoenix sounded quite perplexed. Why? Because the girl one way or another is becoming an extension of her will.

A Mortal Soul can't handle a Divine Soul. Another Remnant Soul might have given the remaining piece of soul to this girl but it's nowhere near what she had become.

'Well, I might as well not touch that bit of soul. Maybe she will develop into a Phoenix of her own.'

The Phoenix thought to herself as she pondered on this.

"Yes. Let me gather them. You can stay with Yue'er." As Xiao Long said, he left Phoenix for his wife and disappeared.

The beauty stroked the bird in her fingers.

"Do you want to see my husband's children?"

"Oh? Does he already have them? You humans work quickly." The Phoenix was shocked at how quickly humans breed.

"...Well…" Xia Qingyue was somewhat embarrassed to respond to that.

"...Competition is intense in such a household." The woman explained after thinking for a bit.

"...Hmmm, I suppose it is."

The Phoenix accepted such a simple explanation after seeing the Sect in person.

With such talent, many females would want to be with the Young Master. It's natural selection, something the Divine Beast can accept without deep thinking.

Yet, the black-haired beauty was somewhat baffled by how quickly the bird accepted her shaky excuse.

'I hope these Divine Beasts are not that gullible…'

For a moment she pondered if it was because they were in a cave for so many years that they all believed that humans wouldn't lie to them!?

Regardless, she took the Phoenix to the children's room where Cang Yue was watching over the pair of kids.

"... Is that?" The Princess looked at the beautiful bird in Xia Qingyue's hand.

"The Phoenix." Xia Qingyue said with a small smile.

But at that moment the Phoenix was unresponsive as she was staring at the kids with wide eyes.

'What are these two beings!? Such an overbearing aura!'

The pair of black-haired kids were playing with toys inside a comfortable wooden bed. Looked at the Phoenix.

The Divine Beast was awed by a pair of beautiful eyes.

Such azure blue eyes…they are a sign of Primordial Azure Dragon but these kids were not that!

They don't emit Draconic blood so what are they!?

"We should call Rouyu. She should be delighted to see Phoenix as well." Xia Qingyue said from the side.

"Yes. She has the easiest job… making her daughter babysit most of the time."

Cang Yue said with a sigh. It's such a cheat! That red-haired woman has it easy!

Honestly, the Princess should have thought this over before she decided to be a mother.

Her husband is one cruel man… he doesn't allow any sort of helpers for her. Since he never had any himself.

She wanted to be his wife so now she has to babysit her son ALL the time.

At least her son's birth time was the same as Xia Qingyue so they can switch and rest when need be.

Of course, from time to time they can give them away to other girls but. Xiao Long doesn't like that as it's 'cheating' in his words.

After all the effort, he put it alone to build up all of this, and all the things he did to make their children strong.

So after seeing his annoyed face, the girls decided not to play with fire.

As Cang Yue was thinking about this the girls started to gather.

"Oh my, so this is the Phoenix~" The blonde Goddess was the first one to see the Divine Beast.

For some reason, the orange bird felt threatened.

"...You…are a Brahma? I can sense it's blood inside of you."

"Impressive, truly a Divine Beast! Even without cultivation, you can sense my bloodline." Qianye Ying'er was impressed by the sensory powers of True God who has no cultivation.

"...Cultivation is only a matter of time for us. Once a True God is always a True God."

The blonde's eyes gleamed when she heard that. Phoenix felt the threat going up even more.

'I should not mention that… Brahma kind was always an obsessive bunch…'
