Chapter 5

"Well? Why don't you ask? You are curious aren't you?" I asked the kitty cat in front of me. I can see how Illyana is unhappy that I am satisfying Felicia's curiosity.

"I wonder if you can do some crazy stuff like they showed on TV!?" She asked curiously, I could see that she was ignoring Illyana's gaze.

"What do mean by 'crazy stuff'? Like chopping bricks with a karate chop?" I asked with an amused tone.

"Yeah! And other stuff!"

She said with an excited tone. I can see that her adrenaline-junky tendencies are leaking from her. She found a source that could indulge her in those tendencies.

"Hmm. Well, check this out then."

"Ray you serious!? Are you planning to show It to her? But she barely has above-average life force!" Illyana said that with a dumbstruck look.

"Lifeforce what is that!?" Felicia picked up on what my sister said.

"Zip it! I am talking with him!"

"Why not? It's not like it's going to change anything. I am only showing the way that there is a door which can be passed." I said with a shrug only confusing the platinum-haired girl even further.

"What you talking about?"

"What you asked obviously," I said with a deadpan look, making her more confused. Do I truly need to spell out everything for her?

"You asked if I can do 'crazy' stuff and 'other' stuff? And yes, I can do that because I broke through the shackles of what is considered the limits of humanity." As I said her eyes went wide.

For a moment I looked around and looked for anything. My gaze ended up on an empty can of Sprite. Americans truly have too much freedom…hell… they even are free to litter their schools.

I walked there and picked it up.

"What… do you consider as 'shackles' of humanity?" Felicia asked curiously and even defensively. Most likely realised that I can be dangerous.

Before she could react I appeared in front of her. This made her take a step back with wide eyes.

"H-How fast…"

I showed empty can to her…I put it between my palms then I squeezed it. Turning into an extremely flat disc of aluminium. Then I squeezed further turning it into a small ball of aluminium.

Finally, I handed it over to her.

"Did you watch the news about disappearing mountains in Siberia?"

Now her facial expression turned ghostly white as she finally put things together.

"Y-You… who are you?"

"He did that through pure training. If you thought that he is born with that kind of power then you are wrong." Illyana chipped in she had an annoyed look.

"You…telling me that he can level whole mountains? Through pure training!? That's bullshit!!!" Felicia snapped at my sister.

Illyana simply lifted her hand and created a pure ball of energy and showed it to Felicia for a few moments before dispelling it. Thankfully we were in quite a sparsely populated area of school and could show off a little bit.

"This was life force, or KI called by Chinese people. Didn't you want to know about Shaolin monks? So we showed it to you." My sister said with a bored tone.

"When one's body reaches a peak performance there is the possibility to take control of one's lifeforce and bend it to one's will. Through pure training, one can achieve supernatural feet just like shown in Chinese myths about people achieving truly terrifying feats through pure martial arts." I explained to her as she started to float just slightly above earth.

It took a few moments for Felicia to understand what just happened. Her gaze went down as she saw my feet not touching the ground.

"...This…this… is not what I expected when I asked crazy stuff… I asked if you could cut brick with your palm…"

"I could cut the Red Sea with a swing of my hand if you want," I said with an amused tone.

"...You rather not… I don't think the world is ready for another Moses…" Once again Illyana stopped my idea before it could come to fruition.

"..."

Felicia only had a dumbstruck look when she heard that.

"Does this mean anyone can learn to do what you do?"

Here it is. The real reason why such high curiosity.

"Indeed. Anyone can learn to do that. I did help my sister to achieve her power.

Regardless, I have satisfied your curiosity. Now you know if I can do that crazy stuff you envisioned." As I said that I started walking towards the exit. Illyana sighed with relief as she started following me.

"W-Wait! You just going to leave like this!?" I could hear panicked Felicia's voice behind me.

I turned around and looked at her.

"How do you want me to leave you?" I asked with an amused tone.

"Y-You not afraid that I will reveal this information to more people!?" She asked that with a baffled tone.

"And who is going to believe you?" I asked in turn with a raised eyebrow.

"You going to say something like: 'If you train long enough you can shoot beams from hands and fly without wings!' How many people will believe you?" I said that with an amused tone. This made her embarrassed to the point that she blushed pretty hard.

"Y-You are right… it sounds silly and even stupid. I would like to ask you to train me. This sounds pretty fascinating. And besides didn't you say that I have above-average Lifeforce as it is?"

This instantly made Illyana frown hard.

"It's not easy you know!? Ray trained hard every day since he was in elementary school. People even branded him a madman. I trained for a few years as well with his help to unlock my Lifeforce!" The blonde sister of mine said with a harsh tone.

"I can understand that. And I do train a few days per week as it is right now." Felicia snapped back with narrowed eyes. She doesn't like that tone my sister is talking.

"I see. Well, you can understand some parts of it. But regardless I don't see the reason why I should waste my time?" For a second I thought about this…

My mind worked for a bit… then I realised… if she is under my protection… and she gets into trouble… this means I can save her perfect ass… this means more fights!

Hell! As I know she gets into trouble all the time! Like with Fisk and Spiderman!

For a second I smirked. Yeah, now I have a solution!

Before Felicia could answer, I spoke first.

"On second thought, will train you. In return, you will be mine." I said with a knowing smirk.

"!!!"

"!?"

"W-What!?"

"You can't be serious!!! You only met her today!" Illyana said that with a deep frown and disbelief.

"And why not? I did the same to you as well." I responded with an eye roll.

"Wait a second! You can't just decide that!" The platinum-haired girl said with disbelief about in which direction this situation just escalated.

"I just did. Or do you want to argue with me on that?" I said with a smirk. She didn't say anything after she saw my look.

I took a step and appeared in front of her. Moments later my right-hand index finger touched her forehead.

"Pull my finger away and I will teach you everything I know no strings attached. Well?" As I said that she got a serious yet smug look thinking it will be going to be easy. She then…tried to move her hands…the keyword was tried…

Not even an inch moved…

"Well? You get a minute to try." I encouraged her with a smile.

Her eyes twitched and sweat started to appear on her forehead, she tried to fight my KI as hard as she could.

Eventually…she gave up.

"Did you just make her try to overcome your KI?" Illyana asked me with disbelief from the sidelines.

"I did." I nodded at my sister while lowering my finger. My action caused a recoil as Felicia could move she nearly drop on her ass right there.

"You know that is impossible for her to overcome that regardless of how much she tries." The blonde said with a sigh.

"It is much better than trying to fight me." I countered her with my reasons before looking at the kitty cat.

"As you can see. You could not even fight my casual finger touch. Which means that you have no say in my choice. As one says. Curiosity killed the cat. This works for you as well."

"...I see… I suppose this was my doing… does this mean I am your girlfriend now?"

She quickly and smoothly went from being in a bad situation into something much more baffling… especially for my dear sister.

"IMPOSSIBLE! You're just a porcelain vase! Fragile as they come! There is no way Ray will accept you as a girlfriend!" Illyana said that with a denial.

"Heh. I may have a porcelain vase for you two but I am more than capable of taking care of myself, and besides how long I am going to be a 'porcelain vase'? Once I can control KI I will be stronger, yes?" Felicia said that with some self-confidence.

"Yes, you will. You sure want to be a 'madman's girlfriend'?" I asked with an amused tone as I shook my head.

"...I suppose we can try and see if it's going to work…"

"It doesn't work that Hardy," Illyana interrupted the girl with a sigh.

"What do you mean?"

"What I mean is that once you become his there is no escape… in the most literal sense."

"I am that scary dear 'sister'?" I asked with a chuckle.

"You are terrifying. And have extreme possessive tendencies. As well as borderline God complex." Illyana said that with a deadpan look.

"I do? Hmm, never noticed that."

"Yes. I said borderline… haven't seen you calling yourself one yet." She said that while having a thoughtful look.

"Something like passive God Complex? Well, anyway. You will be stuck with me, Felicia. I never had a cat before." I reminded the girl of her situation.

"...I suppose… I dug my hole…" The platinum head sighed while looking at me.

Felicia can't believe this is happening to her. How on earth did she end up as a 'cat' to some super martial artist who can shoot beams of energy from his hands!?

Well, she has not seen it but his blonde sister said he can do that.

Regardless of that she now is under his 'protection' well more like a pet?

Still, she remembered what he said to Illyana… this means that the blonde is not his real sister. Which explains why she has feelings for him.

Which is quite amusing. This is good. At least her new life will be… fascinating…

For now, Felicia decided to test something. The platinum-haired girl wants to find out how much 'freedom' she has from Reynolds' hold.

This is why she decided to go out tonight and find some shiny jewels to steal.

It always helps her get over that she just got into a huge mess which cost her…her freedom. Or is it? She needs to know how much control has over her so-called boyfriend. Well, he didn't deny her proposition. So it's boyfriend it is then.

For now, she is going to take a bath and prepare herself for the evening.

Around the same when Felicia returned home so did Reynold and Illyana.

The blonde was annoyed that Reynold pulled someone in, to get trained before she could solidify her position. This was annoying beyond belief.

"Hmm, we have guests."

"And their life force is not of our parents." The blonde said with narrowed eyes. She already is pissed and now there is someone in their house!?

"Heh, you can differentiate already. Not bad."

"One can do that naturally after they reach a certain amount of power."

"Indeed. Now let's see who it is."

As the pair entered into their quite specious house. They walked into the living room where they saw a dark-skinned bald man dressed in black with an eye patch waiting for them. Next to him was a woman with short red hair and dressed in a black tight suit with a holstered gun around her right thigh.

'Nick Fury… finally eh? I only needed to level half of Russia to get a meeting with him.'
