A white armour-dressed man slammed into a wall as Alex continued to walk through the floors of the building. By this point, he has lost count of how many he has knocked out.

These idiots still think they can do something to him. What an amusing thought.

“Well, well, this looks important.” The White Dragon Emperor saw a bunch of pods like this, which looked like capsules used to control those mechs.

“I am curious how resilient they are against Draconic lightning.” The teen lifted his hand as white lightning started to crackle.

He then placed that lightning on this capsule thingy.

Sparks started to erupt from the machine, followed by smoke.

“Oops. I think I broke something.” The teen removed his hand and

[I am pretty sure you have melted the circuitry.]

Albion commented in his mind.

‘Good enough. It appears you are becoming a tech wiz as well.’

[I am getting there.]

The White Dragon didn't deny that.

‘Good, I won't need to do that myself.’

He commented on that as he proceeded to ‘melt’—the other capsule thingies.

Eventually, the whole floor was smelling of burned rubber and electronics.

The White Dragon Emperor ended up on the other side of the floor where the stairs were. He ignored the lifts and instead blasted out into the fire escape stairs.

A couple of flights of stairs up, and he was on a different floor.

‘Canteen?’

“Well, well, I suppose my draconic luck is on my side.”

The teen walked over, jumped over the tilt, and entered the kitchen.

He proceeded to ‘raid’.

[Food? Are you serious?]

‘Hey. A man has to eat when he needs to eat.’

[You just called yourself a dragon, and now you switch to a human? What with these biassed choices depending on circumstances?]

‘Last time I checked, I am both. So I can take both sides.’

[Fine, whatever. I checked these void powers. They are interesting. However, for them to work correctly, you must pull this void out of a person. In other words. The Power of Kings is useless unless you have a person from whom you can pull out of this void.]

‘Indeed. However, the King has his void to use as a base. From what I remember, Gai Tsutsugami could pull out voids and fuse them or something like that.’

Alex said with a pondering voice as he sat beside the window overlooking the bay while eating a dessert he had confiscated from the kitchen. Truly one of the best views in this place!

[Hmm, let me rewatch that part; I haven't paid that much attention last time.]

The White Dragon retreated to the back of his mind. At the same time, Alex could hear the ‘Hills of Sorrow’ soundtrack continuing to play.

‘Not bad.’

After finishing the desert and placing the plate and cutlery in the dishwasher, the teen continued with his ‘journey’ through the floors.

“Stay behind me.”

Julis commanded as she used her flames to scorch any ‘Anti-bodies’ who tried to get close to them.

“This should be the middle of the building. From what I remember, this is akin to the control centre.” The pink Princess mumbled to herself.

As they entered the room, they needed to melt the double protective doors to enter the command centre.

They saw a massive screen on the wall; it was split up into several smaller ones. It shows a bunch of camera feeds. Facing the big screen are rows of tables with computers.

The girl swiftly approached the closest computer and tried to access it.

“...Well, this is just great.” Julis sarcastically commented It was password-protected. So she tried to look around for a password.

After a few minutes of trying to find anything, she proceeded to go with plan B.

“...” The other girl didn't comment. She just watched this girl trying to do something.

“We will melt the servers and information storage units then,” Julis smirked, saying that. Honestly, she prefers this route more than just erasing info from something.

“...Umm…okay…”

“Let's go.”

The pink Princess proceeded to destroy the computers one after another, then she looked around and located server rooms. With them found, she burned them away.

The fellow pinkette had never seen such a thing before. Can all people do similar things?

Eventually, they moved to another below. It had officers and some military hardware. Since this is a mix between organisations and the military, in a sense, some officers have an office.

Not that it mattered to Julis. She burned everything away.

After this floor, the pair of girls could hear a lightning screech as they saw an Anti-body officer running away from someone.

“!!!”

The officer squeaked, seeing a pair of Pinkettes blocking his path.

“Sooo, can you tell us how to erase information about us from the servers?” The Pink Princess asked while placing one of her hands on her hip. There was a ‘smile’ on her face.

“I-I know nothing about that! I-I-I am not with the I.T. team!”

A voice from behind replied.

“So you are useless, then.”

*Static Shock*

The officer trembled as an electrical current washed his body. He collapsed on the ground.

“Any luck?” Alex asked his girlfriend, who was standing before him.

“Hmm, it depends on how you see it. I burned the command centre and all of the servers.” Julis explained what she did before looking at the girl.

“Oh, and I found her.” She then pointed at fellow Pinkette.

“...I see.” The White Dragon Emperor looked at the girl. Julis could sense something from the empathic link she had.

There was a slight frown on her face before she brushed it aside.

“Did you find the Void Genome?”

She asked him while forgetting what she sensed.

“Nope, it's just a cover. It's an office. However, I did find the location of the experiments.” Alex replied while shaking his head.

“Good, then we can visit that place at a different time.”

Julis was satisfied with the results. Even if they didn't get what they wanted in the end, they still laid waste to this place.

“We should be going. There isn't much here to do now.”

Alex nodded at her words and then looked at the quiet pinkette next to Julis.

With a burst of white, he transformed into his Balance Breaker form.

“I will carry you; Julis can fly on her own.”

“...Fly?” The girl was baffled to hear that! They can fly!?

She dumbly nodded as Alex picked her up.

Julis, for a second, huffed as her flaming wings appeared on her back.

The pair proceeded to fly with a casual hand motion; the windows shattered as they flew away towards the city in the distance.

“Can someone explain to me what is going on here? The Headquarters are a mess! How am I supposed to research the virus in this state!?” A man with greyed hair and a lab coat exclaimed angrily at the Anti-bodies before him.

“...S-Sir, we can explain! These two aliens attacked the base! One is clad in white armour and uses lightning, while the other is a female with pink hair, and she wields white flames!

“I know who they are! Do you think I am stupid? I am asking why you, a bunch of soldiers, couldn't stop them! I placed over 200 of you in the building!” The man snapped angrily.

“Do you have any idea what we could achieve if we capture and run some tests on them!?” The scientist said with a heated look. The whole idea that he will capture the pair is already done deal in his eyes.

“...Umm…”

Unlike his subordinates, who have no idea how to capture beings who wield supernatural powers!

“Sir, we need specific equipment to capture such powerful beings.”

“I know, I am not stupid. We are going to request fire and electric insulating equipment from the United Nations.”

‘As if that will help. That witch could melt titanium carbon alloy like a toy!’

The men were not as excited as this self-absorbed man.

Regardless, for the first time since the meteorite crashed, the people were excited about something else and not the Apocalypse Virus.

Alex and Julis landed in the abandoned warehouse.

“Before you let her down, can you give me the bags with clothes? The weather isn't the best here, and I don't want her to get sick.” Julis turned around and explained to her boyfriend.

“Sure, one moment.”

The White Dragon Emperor summoned his phone and activated his inventory.

He summoned his inventory and brought out large backpacks with clothes.

“Let's see~” The Pink Princess is about to have some fun dressing this girl up!

“What do you think?” Julis showed him the girl he had just dressed up as.

The girl was dressed in a one-piece purple dress and some nice shoes.

“...You had clothes like that stashed away?” His reaction was that of deadpan. He was more concerned that she would waste backpack space on unnecessary clothes.

“Hey! It's not like there is no space in your endless inventory! Instead, what do you think?” She brushed the subject aside and instead asked his opinion on the girl's clothes.

“Beautiful. I still don't know your name.” To his question, the other pinkette frowned.

“...I don't have a name.”

“...Do you want one? I have just one for you.” He asked with a small smile.

Her eyes widened for a second. She nodded the next moment.

“...I accept.”

“...Then you will be known as Inori.”

For a second, she had a strange look. She looked away from him and started to mumble the name to herself.

“It appears she liked it,” Julis said with crossed arms as she walked over to his side.

“You gave her the same name as she had in the original series?” She whispered the question.

“Indeed. No need to reinvent the wheel.” He casually shrugged at her.

“...I suppose…” The pink Princess didn't complain. Instead, she got Inori’s attention.

“Since you have your name, a surname is also necessary.” As Julis said that, she looked at Alex.

“Yuzuriha, Inori Yuzuriha. Now the question is, what do you want to do?” He asked her the most important question.

“...What do I want to do?” For a second, she pondered on that.

“I don't know. You gave me my name; I will go where you go.” She said with quite a serious tone.

“Hey! I was the one who pulled you out from that pod.” Julis, for a second, pouted at her.

All she got from Inori was an aimless look. She was not paying attention at all!

‘What an ungrateful brat!’

Julis doesn't quite realise that Inori is more concerned with her identity than her life of well-being.

And Alex was the one who gave her identity. This automatically makes her loyal to him by default.

“If this is what you want. My name is Alexios Komnenos, but you can call me Alex.”

“...Alex…” For a second, she softly said his name. She moved her head to the side. Honestly, she looked like a cat.

“...Yes, and this is Julis-Alexia von Riessfield, or Julis for short.”

“...Hnnn…” All Julis got from Inori was an aimless nod.

The Pink Princess’ eyebrows trembled from annoyance.

‘Relax! She recently awakened; everything is new to her!’

Julis mumbled to herself; with a deep breath, she relaxed.

“What now? You still want that Void Genome. On top of that, we need to get a proper place to stay.” She asked her boyfriend.

“I know. I am still thinking about that. We do need a hacker to get an ID and to buy or rent a place.”

“No worries. I can use some basic Hypnosis if those cameras don't work. We can get a place away from those Anti-bodies.” She explained with a slight smirk.

“You can use Hypnosis?”

“...not difficult, it's a basic spell.” She shrugged without care.

“Cool. I guess then we are set.”
