Gilgamesh Si c13
Added 2024-01-12 16:59:08 +0000 UTC"Hmm? What's this? Flauros is gone? How did this happen?" A man dressed in white royal robes and white hair exclaimed with surprise.
With a thought alone, Flauros was recreated.
“What is this? Why can't I see what happened to him? Flauros was not killed but completely erased from existence?”
He was even more surprised. For something like this to happen, a powerful weapon has been used.
“Did Chaldea’s Master summon a powerful Servant?”
For a second, he pondered. Well, it doesn't matter, even if the initial Singularity was destroyed. He still has seven more, and the French singularity will reveal more about who is this Master and the Servant.
With a thought, he sent Flauros away, and the Demon Pillar returned to his duties.
~~~~~~First Singularity~~~~~~
When Gilgamesh opened his eyes, he saw grasslands stretching as far as he could see.
“This is amazing! So this is what it looks like outside!” Mash exclaimed with a happy tone.
“You have never been outside?” Saber asked with a perplexed look.
“No, I never left Chaldea before,” Mash said while shaking her head.
Saber looked at Gilgamesh after hearing that. As if knowing the King of Heroes responded.
“Yes, yes. As Your King and Master, I command you to explore more of the outside world.” The blonde Demigod casually ordered as he looked around, trying to understand where he was.
“Y-Yes, Orders Understood!”
“Apart from that, I assume we are in Gaul now?” The Fallen King of Knights asked her Master.
“More accurately, we are in France, from the rolling grasslands. I assume we are close to Germany. The Central Europe plains stretch from France all the way to the Ural Mountains in Russia.”
“I see. What are your orders?” Artoria Alter ignored the explanations and waited for his orders instead.
“M-Master! Look at the sky!” Mash squeaked as she got everyone's attention.
The pair of Sabers and the King of Heroes looked at the sky.
“...what is that?” Saber exclaimed with disbelief. That's some serious magecraft!
“The Magecraft of the one who has caused all of this. That is why we have these.” He said that while pointing at his neck.
All of them have unique necklaces which bypass any sort of scrying and clairvoyance.
Gilgamesh wants to keep his existence a secret for as long as possible. That is why he used EA to kill Flauros. Anything else, and Ars Goetia would have been aware of him.
With his most powerful weapon’s power, the Demon pillar was erased, not killed. That means Ars Goetia didn't get any sort of memories after it rebuilt the pillar.
“That…hole in the sky is a surveillance system!?” Artoria exclaimed with wide eyes.
“Most likely, it's part of it. It is a Noble Phantasm as well.” With a casual shrug, he proceeded to walk, and his Servants followed after him.
As they were walking towards the village in the distance, Gilgamesh was smirking quite a bit. This Singularity is special.
It has two Saber-faces he will acquire for his collection.
Two exceptionally powerful in their ways. One is highly destructive, and the other has one of the most potent defences.
That's right, Jeanne d’Arc and her fallen version. This place has them both. That’s why he is in no hurry to erase this place from the map.
He could easily use his Vimana and fly to the castle and kill that Gilles— Gilles—
For a second, the King of Heroes frowned; he ignored his Sha Naqba Imuru.
‘Gilles—The rice man? Well, whatever; I could just fly there and end this in moments, but that would make both Jeannes disappear.’
“To cause such a thing. This enemy— is that powerful!? Could it be a Beast?”
Artoria’s words caused Mash to look at her with realisation
“That's a high possibility. Beasts are supposed to be beings which want to destroy humanity, which this enemy has already done.”
“If this is the case, why do Singularities even exist?” The King of Knights was confused about this.
“Because the thing most likely has an ulterior motive. It's most likely some twisted idea of destroying and rebuilding. A beast is still a beast.” Gilgamesh explained without going into many details.
“...I see…”
As they walked for a while, they finally arrived at the village.
The moment people saw them, they instantly started to whisper among themselves.
They looked at Saber Alter with terror before rushing to hide in their homes.
“...Master… they looked at Saber Alter…”
“Yes. They recognised her or, more precisely, confused her with someone similar looking.” He said with crossed arms as his gaze scanned the surroundings.
Seconds later, some armour-wearing people rushed over. These soldiers are dressed in a mix of plate armour and leather, with a blue coat of arms.
“Dragon Witch, surrender and cease your terror!” They pointed their spears and swords at the group.
“...Dragon Witch?” Artoria and Mash looked confused, while Alter had a poker face. Her hand was getting twitchy; she was about to change her clothes into armour and summon her sword.
“Lower your weapons; she is with me. Don't confuse people without some proof.” Gilgamesh said with a similarly annoyed voice.
“We don't know who you are, but she looks identical to Dragon Witch! Same hair colour, same eye colour! Similar clothes! Now, come in quietly!”
“Let me teach these people a lesson.” Artoria Alter whispered to her Master, who was also getting more annoyed.
“No need. Enemy is here.” He said that while looking to the side.
Some creatures are flying over. The Servants followed his gaze and looked where he was looking.
“Those are—!”
“Wyverns!? What are they doing here!?” Artoria summoned her armour and sword as she was ready to fight. Alter followed her and did the same.
“It's most likely doing of that Dragon Witch.”
‘I wonder if she can similarly create these things to Casters, who used to make familiars or golems.’
In Gilgamesh's eyes, these things will be valuable in future Singularities and Lostbelts.
There is that certain amount of satisfaction when a dragon species follows his commands.
“All of you hide in your houses! We shall deal with the wyverns!” Gilgamesh roared his commands; his Charisma A made them all nod at him and rush towards their houses, leaving only the regular soldiers who looked petrified, yet at the same time, they wanted to fight these things.
“You too. These are beings of magic; no average person should face these things. Now get lost.”
“...R-Right!”
The French soldiers rushed away. They were leaving only the four of them.
The King of Heroes jumped on the roof of a house, and his Gate of Babylon activated, and golden portals opened behind him.
“Mash, you make sure none of the Wyverns damage the houses if they pass my attacks, while you two can attack them from the sides.
I will take the front.” As he explained, dragon-slaying weapons proceeded to show themselves from the gate.
His Sabers rushed to attack from the sides while the Shielder waited to see if any Wyverns survived the King of Heroes attacks.
Seconds later, weapons started to rain on the enemies.
Like hot knives, the weapons slaughtered the green wyverns.
As the middle of the wyvern pack was killed, the Sabers jumped on the flying lizards on the sides.
‘I could kill all of them, but I do need to make my Sabers feel that they are helpful as well.
Ugh— it's all that balance a King has to manage.’
As he pondered about his responsibility, a slight smirk appeared on his lips as he saw another individual rush from the forest and join the fray.
With a banner in her hands, she jumped on another green wyvern and stabbed its spine, making it crash land. Before it could land, the girl had already jumped on another one.
However, Gilgamesh noticed this Servant was weaker than usual as she was about to fall from the wyvern’s back.
With a thought, the King of Heroes summoned his chains. The blonde flag bearer noticed them and grabbed the chain. The chain pulled her up, and she ended up being launched into the sky and landed on the back of the wyvern again.
“Mash one is coming here. Show me what you can do.”
“Y-Yes!”
The girl got serious, and seconds later, a green car-sized dragon flew over. The Shielder jumped and slammed her shield into the wyvern’s head.
The beast lost its balance and landed in the middle of the village.
She swiftly rushed over and slammed her shield’s edge into the beast's face several times.
‘That's why a sword is better. It's less gruesome. Well, just shooting projectiles is even better.’ Gilgamesh commented to himself as he looked at the girl getting over her adrenaline high.
“Not bad, don't relax just yet.” He slightly praised her, praising them for their hard work, which means they can try even harder next time.
“Yes!”
This time, he summoned another more scattered version of his gate.
Different sets of colours followed as the King of Heroes added tracking to his targets.
With a chin motion, all the weapons flew like guided missiles, slaying excess wyverns.
Just like that, the battle was almost over.
The blonde Demigod jumped down from the house and walked towards the battlefield.
Seconds later, the last red-coloured wyvern went down.
“Finally, someone like me arrived to help!” A blonde girl with long braided hair and a flag in her hand walked over to the blonde King of Heroes.
“You must be the Saint, the Maiden of Orleans?” He asked, even though he already knew.
“She is the one who that Caster confused me with!?” Artoria asked with wide eyes.
“...Umm, what do you mean? And who are you people?” The flag bearer asked with a confused look.
“We are with Chaldea—an organisation whose goal is to fix the time and preserve humanity.
As you can see, your homeland has been affected by an outside force; we are here to deal with that.” The blonde demigod explained.
By this point, Mash walked over. She looked curiously at the blonde Saint, who looked VERY similar to King of Knights.
“I-I see. That explains some of it. You know, I am Jeanne d’Arc. I was— just recently executed, but the next moment, before I knew it, I was summoned back to France by the counterforce to assist in removing someone who acts like me.” She said with an embarrassed look.
“This fake version of me took even a portion of my powers. By this point, I am not even half of my strength.” The Saint added more.
“What class are you?” Artoria looked curious as she looked at her. She could see a sword, but— is she a Lancer? The flag pole could act as a Spear.
“I am a Ruler Class Servant.”
“That is— Extra Class!” The blonde was quite perplexed. Someone like that would dominate the Grail Wars.
“This is not Grail War, Saber; you will see some unique individuals on our journey,” Gilgamesh smirked while saying that. He is amused by how little his cute King of Knights needs to be impressed.
“Not amused by your secrets— Master!”
“...Master? You are a Master!?” Jeanne asked with wide eyes.
“Yes. Don't my clothes reveal that?” Gilgamesh pointed at himself. He was dressed in a white and gold Chaldea uniform, with black gloves which reveal his command seals.
He was dressed accordingly for this occasion.
“...But…you are extremely powerful.”
“I am the King of Heroes reborn to bring salvation to the human race, again.” By this point, the blonde just sighed and gave up. He is confident he will need to introduce to everyone every time.
His rule was so long ago that no one even knew what he looked like.
“...Wait— as in— you are like—” Jeanne’s confusion grew as her acquired knowledge contradicted what she saw!
“To keep it short. I am the best Master for you. Now, let's form a contract.”
Gilgamesh showed his hand.
“O-Okay.”
While Artoria and Artoria Alter got warning bells in their heads when they saw this!
They saw that smirk! The King of Heroes is plotting something!
