Star Wars: Anakin Si c11
Added 2024-01-18 16:48:16 +0000 UTCAs Lucrehulk was rushing through hyperspace, Anakin was checking the data he had recovered.
He inspected the ships and their designs. The stuff was ancient and very much outdated.
However, not everything is obsolete. At the same time, the designs of spaceships are. The weapons, on the other hand, are not.
In fact, they are superior to what the spaceships have now.
This discovery is a pleasant surprise.
‘Ah, yes, Revan did input designs for Sith Weaponry, like the Sith fighter, droids and—- my oh my.
HK-47 is here!’
The Chosen One’s eyes gleamed seeing such a find! The Killer Droids, which terrified the Galaxy nearly 4000 years ago, will return!
‘Whatever absolute crap the current HK they make are obsolete to these!’
Apart from that, Anakin studied the designs for turbo lasers he got. The gas compression ratio and the quality dictate the sheer damage the weapon does.
But! There is a superior way. And that is the Kyber crystal. If every single turret was to have a synthetic Kyber crystal, the sheer output of the weapons would crush everything in his path.
One would say it's wasteful to have this many Kyber crystals on a capital ship, but that's the thing.
He is to have the Star Forge! The only upkeep he needs to worry about is the sun itself of the solar system he will be keeping the forge.
‘But which sun to use?’
Out of spite and amusement, he considered milking one of Tatooine’s suns. But he quickly discarded that idea.
No. Another place in Outer Rim, but where?
‘Sith Space? A nebula protects their place and only has a few entrances.
No—wait! Scarif!’
The Chosen One swiftly went to check the Navi Computer. Scarif is not far from Kamino and is less than a parsec away from it.
There is a hyperspace route not far from it! Was it the Triellus Trade Route? He is not certain.
‘Scarif is not discovered. It doesn't exist in Navi computer data.’
And Anakin is sure his data is one of the best. He gathered info from a bunch of Bounty Hunters and smugglers. On top of that, he added data Naboo had, and on top of that, he added Trade Federations Navi Data.
Scarif doesn't exist in any of those, which means it was discovered in the Galactic Empire’s period.
And that is good. The hyperspace route Anakin is considering making this route his primary one.
This route leads close to Tatooine, Kamino and Ryloth, closely allowing him to slice the whole southeast of the Galaxy for himself.
‘Worlds with low to no proper military combat couldn't challenge me when I build up my forces.’
After inspecting the maps, it was time to explore the old-fashioned way.
The Chosen One closed his eyes and focused on the force.
He Dived into the Galaxy and flew rapidly towards his homeworld, the desert world.
Once there, he jumped East.
After flying for a while, he left the hyperspace and arrived in another world similar to Tatooine. The difference was it had an Asteroid belt!
‘This is— Geonosis! Oh my! This discovery is a pleasant surprise. However, how do I persuade them to work for me? Hive mind drones are such a nice labour force.’
Sometimes, ignoring present hyper routes is a good thing.
After Geonosis, he jumped North, and this time, the flying was slightly longer; a while later, he arrived at the world of Roon.
A green and blue world inhabited primarily by humans. Anakin doesn't know much, only that it has extensive spice and underground things going on.
Regardless, his Force Projection focused on and in the area, as he proceeded to check all the stars around Roon.
Such a task can take a while, but he has time.
‘Oh, we have Kamino, as dreary as ever.’ Anakin noticed the blue stormy world of Kamino, and this was an excellent find. If his knowledge is legit, then Scarif should be a little bit East.
He focused more on the starry sky of the Kamino left side of the galaxy.
Checking Solar System after Solar System.
Until a large smirk appeared on his face, he found a tropical world. This world has 80% water and 20% land. Island chains and small continents dot this world.
This planet is Scarif, and it was as close as he had thought it was.
Anakin pondered on this as to why no one found this world before. Well, Kamino is as backward as it gets. Rarely anyone comes to this place, and no major hyperlanes exist here.
Apart from the smuggling routes, it's an empty place.
The Chosen One could consider that after destroying Kamino’s cloning facilities at the end of the Clone War, the Empire needed a secret place to store important data away from the Senate’s eyes.
And this planet, by the name Scarif, was the best place.
And now Anakin is going to make it his home.
After locating the place, he stopped his Force Projection and contacted his Navi droid.
“Set Navi coordinates to Grid S-15, Manda Merchant run, the exact coordinates are —” a set of numbers followed after.
“Umm, Bossman, there is nothing there. The closest star is Molavar.” The droid was confused as hell. His bossman was asking to jump into empty space!
“We are about to discover a new solar system and make it our base.”
“Roger, Roger!”
“ETA three days!”
As the droid changed its course, Anakin looked at the map of the Galaxy. A slight grin appeared there. This area was no Republic Space. He can wage war as much as he wants.
Molivar is a junction world, and Hutt Cartel owns it. The Manda Merchant Run leads to Tatooine, and the Triellus Trade Route leads to Ryloth, Roon and even towards Mid Regions.
In layman's terms, he is building a base near a highway. While not the main highway, it's more than enough for him to fortify it and make it into a citadel space.
And most importantly, not far from them is the Rishi system, which leads to Kamino. He has backdoors to that place. If he ever wants to cripple Clone forces, that is, if they will ever exist, he can easily do it.
Oh, and Geonosis is close by.
This location is just the perfect centre for him.
“What a lovely spot I have discovered. Hmm, on top of that, I can build a beach home there.” The Chosen One chuckled while remembering Scarif.
It is truly a paradise world.
~~~
As the massive trade-turned-battleship entered Scarif’s system, Anakin’s vessel didn't appear above the tropical world.
No, he appeared at the outer edge of the solar system.
“Recalibrate the sensors to detect what kind of planets this system has.”
“Roger, Roger.”
The issue with Star Wars is Hyperspace itself. It's incredibly convenient; it allows one to ignore the solar system itself, which enables one to jump from the third planet to another solar system’s fourth world. So on and so on.
Such travel blinds people from the ability to make the entire Solar System into a fortress.
For example, in the Rogue One movie, Scarif was a fortress, yes. But just Scarif. What about other planets in the system?
Creating artificial gravity wells would cripple Hyperspace travel, forcing ships to fly at sub-light speed throughout the system.
Such a thing could potentially give a faction days to counter an invasion.
And this is what Anakin will do to his Scarif and Starforge.
He will make ancient Sith Emperors and Palpatine drool when they see his fortification.
“We have located an Ice Giant and Gas Giant, a Green world and two barren worlds. There is an asteroid belt between Green World and Gas Giant, too!”
A B1 from his console control point told him what they found.
“Wonderful.”
‘Scarif is a mineral-rich world; this means the system itself should have some good stuff. It should have enough funds to build infrastructure to restore the Star Forge.’
As far as he can recall, the Empire had several Star Destroyers stationed here. That means a refuelling place should be not far from here.
“We shall scan planet by planet.”
“Roger, Roger. Recalibrating sensors for resource scanning.”
As the droids were working, Anakin returned to his Star charts.
~~~
The ice giant was a basic frozen gas world; it had little interest—just some basic gases.
Then, the second gas Giant attracted Anakin’s attention.
“Bossman, this planet can be a refuelling station for our ships.”
“Hmm, true, it has the gases needed to refine fuel.” Anakin stroked his chin. This situation was going in the direction he wanted.
After the Gas Giant, it was Scarif, and the sensors went wild.
It has all the metals they need to build Starships!
‘If this planet is like that, what about the barren planets after this one?’
For now, he ignored Scarif and went to the first barren world closer to the sun.
As the Lucrehulk arrived at the second planet from the sun, the sensors went wild.
“Umm, Bossman, our sensors are not good for in-depth scans. We know this planet has raw materials, but we can't make out the details.”
Instead of replying, Anakin checked out himself what they scanned.
‘Looks like heavy metals, no liquids.’
“There are three locations of interest. Send teams to those locations.”
“Roger, Roger.”
As shuttles with droids left the ship, Anakin pondered what to do.
‘I don't have tools to build infrastructure; what I do have is tools to maintain droids—and butt loads of weapons.
I suppose I can sell a tank or two.’
What Chosen One has is weapons and more weapons. He won't be selling Vultures; they are valuable, like droidekas.
But Tanks? He isn't planning for land battles. The moment he starts planning those, he will have Starforge by that point.
‘Once I have tools to build, I will build orbital refineries for ores; then we will start with the construction of Starforge.’
As Anakin was pondering on the construction queue of his projects, the B1 started to report to him.
“Bossman, we have found a vein of Aurodium.”
“...What?”
“Umm, Bossman, it's Aurodium.”
“...Wow, now that's a rare find.”
“The rough estimation is around 35 to 70 tones of it. Our scanners can't scan deep enough.”
‘Space gold it is. It appears I will be able to fund my infrastructure. But to sell this much?’
The metal, while rare and precious, has no military value and is only meant for jewellery.
The second group reported as well.
“We discovered several veins we think are Doonium.”
Anakin grinned upon hearing that! That's what he was looking for! Starship material! This material was what they used to build starships from!
“Wonderful, tag those locations.”
“Roger, Roger.”
And lastly, the last group reported that they got Chromium, another expensive and rich material with great use.
The Chosen One could use this to build ships for his future wife. After all, she gave him a chromium J-type starship. He can get her something similar.
After this, Anakin flew to the last planet and the closest to the sun.
This time, it took longer as his droids would melt if they were on the side of the planet where the sun was shining.
But, again, the barren world was rich with materials, just like Scarif and the second planet.
By all accounts, he was filthy rich now.
With the new info, it was time to put things into action.
First, he needs to sell some tanks and buy some drilling and mining equipment as well as construction-related tools.
“I know just a man for this,”
“Set course for Molavar,” Anakin said to his navi droid.
“Roger, Roger.”
The Lucrehulk jumped into hyperspace a few minutes later.
Half an hour later, the Chosen One called his favourite Bounty Hunter, who has an extensive network of people.
A familiar Mandalorian dressed in blue armour appeared on Anakin’s holoprojector.
“You have something for me?”
The Mandalorian went straight to the business.
“I have a few Medium Repulsor Tanks to sell. Do you have a few people who would want those?”
“And ammo? If you have ammo for those, I could find a buyer quickly, but it will cost you.”
“Of course.”
