Star Wars: Anakin Si c15

The massive Lucrehulk blasted out from hyperspace, screeching sounds of Vulture droids followed as they started to leave the freighter-turned-warship and descend on the ships in the Sullust system.

The control tower of Sullust noticed them swiftly, and the defence force of the planet started to respond.

“Trade Federation’s Lucrehulk responded, what is the meaning of this?” The operators of the Control Tower were confused and somewhat frightened. What was going on!?

Their consoles show the signature of this Lucrehulk. It was the Trade Federation. Are they going to blockade this system, too? Is this their new business tactics?

“This is the Trade Federation’s Lucrehulk! We are here to raid! Give us your credits!”

“Yeah!”

“We are with the trade federation, right?”

Three commanding B1 answered the hail. Anakin programmed these to be ‘specific’.

One is brash, the second one is hype man, and the third one is not certain.

Why did he do that? Well, it was amusing, so he did.

“...What the? There is no organic person on the ship? Hey! Droids, where are your owners!?”

“Owners? They are exploiting outer-rim territories, and we are here to steal your credits!”

“Yeah!”

“Are you sure they are exploiting the outer rim? They could be raising import prices; you never know.”

“This is pointless! Order ships to attack! This ship went rogue!”

With the green light given to the cruisers and frigates, they were allowed to engage, but this was too late; while they wasted time talking, the proton torpedoes were launched by the Vultures.

Slamming into the defence force, they started to explode. The sheer amount of Vultures overwhelmed the defence of the planet.

Before long, the droids attacked the infrastructure and the planetary defences.

When the radar went down in smoke, the Firespray and J-type left hyperspace and flew towards the planet.

“Impressive initial attack, but how will we enter their underground cities?”

“You didn't hear the debriefing!?” The Mandalorians chatted among themselves.

“My world was still spinning after being beaten up by a kid!”

“There are tunnels which lead to those cities. It just turns out that the four HK units we have can hack terminals.”

“Right, not only killer droids but hacker units too. Just great.”

As Firespray entered the atmosphere, a volcanic world greeted them. Jango used the ship's batteries to blow up an entrance and descend where the planet's capital should be.

They used one of the shafts meant for starships to descend to the spaceport.

Once down, they landed and left the Firespray. They were followed by HK units and a dozen of Droidekas.

“You know what to do.”

“Confirmation: We are to start the party protocols.” The killer droids loaded their guns. They were carrying sacks of guns, too. They had an entire arsenal of weapons.

“Right, then let's go.”

Mandalorians went their way, and HK units went to cause distraction like no other. Droidekas are to stand by as support and attack when needed.

The newly installed AI in Firespray moved the ship, slowly rising and leaving the underground spaceport.

Meanwhile, Anakin had a mission of his own. His J-type landed in another city away from the capital of the Sullust.

His mission is to recover the Heat Sink technology he will use in his capital ships.

“Hey! The City is on—” The security officers could speak as someone held them by their necks. The pair of guards slammed into each other, getting knocked down.

With the press of a button on his wristband, the J-type left the port and flew to safety.

‘Now then, to raid all the engineering corps.’

The Chosen One knows the force guides him, so he knows he will find the place.

As he was walking through the underground city, he noticed scrambling security officers moving towards the transport ships.

‘That's right, fall for the diversion.’

Seeing that the guards were leaving, Anakin proceeded to look for his target.

After walking for a while, he arrived at a residential area. Guided by the forces, he took a lift and then arrived at a specific floor and walked through corridors before pulling out a device, which he placed next to the door lock.

The lock was red, but with a few presses on his hacking pad, the door lock turned green.

The doors opened up, and he walked in.

“...”

“...”

Before the Sullustian could say anything to the boy who had just hacked into his flat, with a hand wave, he passed out.

“To think that one of the premier engineers who would have built the most terrifying starship in the Clone Wars era is living in a flat.”

After commenting on that, he walked over, placed his finger on the man’s head and proceeded to read his mind.

Images and memories started to flow into Anakin’s mind; he saw the ideas, schematics, mechanics, engineering and possibilities of the heat sink system.

“Oh, now this is interesting. Your idea is grand; this could only work properly if you have a Starforge, and that, my friend, is exactly what I have.”

The reason why the Subjugator-class Heavy Cruiser was this big, five times as big as Venator, was the heat sink prototype system it had.

That vessel could shoot further than any cruiser and deliver more damage than any cruiser of that time.

The reason is that it can absorb and convert the energy from any heat-related things.

For example, if someone is raining damage on the vessel’s shields, that heat is absorbed and diverted to engines, turbo lasers, or shields themselves.

It's a cycle of never-ending energy.

Fascinating technology.

Something Anakin will abuse.

After reading the memories, the Chosen One started to look for the data pads on the schematic of the prototypes.

“Well, well—” His eyes ended up on a starship oddly similar to the Subjugator class. There are some differences like the Ion cannon is missing.

And sizes mismanaged. The ship’s prototype design is classic one kilometres. The engineer, Ruggle Schmong, has not yet realised that the heat sink tech will need far more extensive ‘bedrock’ to work with.

Still, Anakin collected all the data pads and some prototypes for the Ion cannon.

One thing he noticed is that the Clone Wars era has not utilised branched-out weapons like the Ion cannon more often than it should.

Such weapons are deadlock breakers.

‘But then again, this war was manipulated by Sidious; much stuff developed would simply disappear and never appear to change the deadlock.’ The more he thought about it, the more he was somewhat annoyed. Because of Sidious manipulations, many technological breakthroughs were discarded and lost because of an older man’s ambition.

As Anakin was raiding a talented man’s house, the Mandalorians realised that they were raiding an even bigger target! This place was the SoroSuub Corporation-owned shipwright tower!

They sell stuff to the entirety of the galaxy! From comms devices to police droids utilised by Coruscant!

“If they find out what happened here, they won't leave us alone, ever!”

“Then it's a good thing we are prepared.” As Jango said, he blasted through the doors and found a console terminal he wanted to see.

Walking over, he placed the memory stick in the port, and the console turned on, and they could see files being copied and deleted simultaneously.

“It's copying and deleting files.”

“That is to make sure no one knows the schematics and weaknesses of the spaceships.”

As the Mandalorians were discussing, they heard the sounds of rushing men towards their location.

Those are the security of the building.

“Well, we have things to do.”

The Mandalorians pulled out their pistols and proceeded to walk back to the doors and defend the perimeter until the copying process was done.

“What the hell is that? Why is it not going down!?” The police guards of the capital of Sullust, Pinyumb, were complaining as they were fighting four rampaging droids through the spaceport.

These things just don't go down!

“Statement: You meatbags need more firepower to scratch my paint job.”

One of the HKs was using a plasma shotgun to spread damage as it was butchering Sullustans and other species.

The carnage was absurd for just four droids!

“Use Grenades!”

As the public security force was trying to fight back, special forces also arrived.

They brought out some of the more potent weapons and riot shields.

When HK units saw the heavily armoured police officers, they changed their weapons. That's why they brought entire sacks of firearms.

“Elation: More meatbags to deal with. Proceed to change into anti-material weapons.”

The Beskar-made HK units holstered their weapons and switched to higher calibre rifles with attached extensions. Those are proton grenade launchers.

“Statement: Proceed to exterminate.”

Grenades and thick red beams started to rain from the HK units. The special forces looked horrified to see the weapons these droids had!

Who even sells this kind of calibre weaponry!? Tech like that is heavily regulated!

Soon enough, all of the police forces were dead, and the droids even looked disappointed.

“Disappointment: This model expected more carnage.”

Once the forces outside the spaceport were dealt with, the models proceeded to guard the perimeter in the most open way possible. They are still attracting attention.

“It appears the HK units took the bulk of the attention.”

“They are made from pure beskar, no matter what weapons those police forces use; it's pointless.”

The Mandalorians were somewhat disappointed; after the initial two skirmishes, they were done with data extraction and ready to leave.

With a casual blast, they destroyed the windows, jumped from the tower, and used their jet packs to fly.

Jango pressed the button on his gauntlet, and his Firespray started to fly to his location.

The Mandalorians swiftly returned to the Spaceport, where HK units cleaned their weapons. They looked bored.

“We are ready to leave.”

“Confirmations: We are done with our assignments, ready to depart.”

“Disappointment: This assignment was quite boring.”

The Mandalorians snorted, hearing that. They looked at the laying bodies, body parts, and blood puddles. These droids went on an extermination spree.

‘So these are the HK units of the old. Nothing like the current generation who work like bodyguards.’

Jango was impressed. From what he remembers, the kid said he would give some of these to him.

He doesn't mind droids like these as helpers. They know how to do their jobs.

Not long after that, the Firespray returned, and the Mandalorians, alongside the HK units droidekas, returned and proceeded to fly out from the subterranean city.

The Mandalorians were impressed with the amount of damage the Vultures did to the planet. Space stations were destroyed alongside the drydocks. There were quite a few still left.

‘This was far too easy. But then again, we had a massive Lucrehulk working as a decoy with hundreds of Vulture droids.’

On top of that, HK units are made from beskar. They slaughtered an entire special force. Mandalorian didn't even have much of a challenge to raid a lightly defended tower by that point. All of the attention was on killer droids.

As the spaceship left the orbit, Jango contacted Anakin.

“We got the schematics, moving to the rendezvous point.”

“Understood; I will be there in five minutes.”

“Understood.”

“Hold it there!”

Anakin placed his comms device and turned around, seeing five military officers with their droids.

The Chosen One looked at the percentage going up on the console device.

“I do have time. Why don't you try to stop me, then?”

*Beam Ignition Sound*

The lightsaber ignited in Anakin’s hand.

“...A Jedi?”

“Wrong, I am more than that.”

With hand motion, all the droids flew towards him, and with casual lightsaber swings, they were dissected and crushed to bits. Memories units were destroyed just like that.

“But you guys will never have a chance to learn anything.” With a casual throw of his lightsaber, all of them were cut in half, dropping on the ground dead.

Once he dealt with the security, he walked to the console and checked the progress.

A few short minutes later, he retrieved the memory stick and proceeded to destroy the building.

He doesn't want all that Ion technology to get in the hands of Jedi or Sith. So, he will keep it for himself and improve his future flagship with this knowledge.
