Star Wars: Anakin Si c16

As Anakin and the Mandalorian left the Sullust, there was no point for Lucrehulk to stay.

The Vultures returned to the freighter-turned-warship and jumped into hyperspace.

They did their part. Now, it was time for the Trade Federation to take the blame.

As the Galaxy was reeling in from the new ‘skirmish’, Anakin, alongside his band of Mandalorians, docked in the second Lucrehulk.

“Man, this mission was quite easy. I was expecting more gunfights.” One of the Mandalorians from the Vizsla clan said with a disappointed sigh.

“Don’t worry. There is another thing which you boys could do.” Anakin said that as he walked down the ramp from his J-type.

“Oh, what can we do for you, Mandalore?” The Mandalorians were more respectful now after this successful mission.

Honestly, it was so successful that they barely needed to fight.

“We need Mandalorian industries. At this moment, there are not that many companies which make weaponry. We have designs for capital ships, but we need weapons and smaller vessels.

That is why I need you all to buy out the crumbling companies under Pacifist Mandalorians.”

“...This implies that we have credits to buy actual companies.”

“We do. I have enough wealth to buy actual planets.”

“...Y-You do?”

“Yes. I have refined Auronium. Those ingots would make any of you into millionaire—” As Anakin said, he had a pondering look.

“Maybe that's what we will do.” He said that with a grin appearing on his face.

Palpatine is not the only one who can play puppet master.

“What do you mean?”

“Simple, I am going to give you all the credits; with those credits, you all will buy and control those companies,” Anakin explained as he walked over.

“...Last time I checked, I was a warrior, not a businessman.” One of them argued with him.

“That's why I am giving you credits. There are two companies I want from Mandalore.” He shows two fingers at them.

“Concordian Crescent Technologies, who make weapons, and Mandalmotors, who make vehicles.

If we control weapons and transport, we have the infrastructure to take over Mandalore.

The only thing left is collecting the manpower to make the army.

Since there are five of you, you all can spread and make a chain of command. With the necessary wealth in place, it won't be hard to acquire the companies. With these companies, we will have backdoors to Mandalore.

As far as I am aware, Death Watch is in Concordia. They want to take the planet over.”

“...You want Death Watch?” Jango asked with a raised eyebrow.

“If you are concerned about their extreme views, you should not be worried. I have a way to make them see reason.”

“...Then it's fine. You are Mandalore, we follow you.” Jango Fett quickly agreed. He was always a bounty hunter, but then again, bounty hunters are businessmen. And if anything goes wrong, he can always call his Mandalore.

“...Fine, I always wanted to have minions.” One of the Bounty Hunters commented.

Others agreed with him eventually. Having a lot of money helps to deal with uncertainties.

~~~
Anakin took the second Lucrehulk to his Scarif system. Once there, he ordered the droids to start bringing over the refined Auronium.
There was a lot of ‘space gold’.
“...Damn, how are we going to sell this much?”
“I have few contacts,” Jango said with a calculating look.
“You can have this lucrehulk. Use it as a base, sell or exchange this Auronium and gain a foothold in Mandalorian companies.” As Anakin explained, the four bounty hunters inspected the luxury metal while Jango walked to the Chosen One.
“Are you sure it's wise to give this much wealth?” The bounty hunter asked with some concern. His concern is that this much wealth can corrupt his fellow Mandalorian.
“This isn't even much. Did you forget the amount I talked about? Besides, I already predicted the possible betrayals.
That is included in possible loss of wealth.” Anakin casually replied.
The critical detail is he has to keep Scarif secret. The only person who knows about the star system is Jango.
And he knows he can trust his Bounty Hunter. His gut feeling is connected to force in the literal sense.
And Jango is the only one who pilots the Firespray.
“Very well, then I shall trust this with you.”
“Yeah. Now more than ever, we need your contacts. This Auronium needs to be sold and turned into credits. We need to place a stranglehold on Mandalore and get all the people who want to join our cause.
I am sure there are people throughout the whole Mandalore sector who wouldn't mind fighting for the greatness of the old traditions.”
“...This is where those two companies come into the play?”
“Precisely. It will be the cover for the military recruitment.”
Anakin said with a slight smirk.
“...You are too crafty for a kid your age.”
All Jango could do was just shake his head in disbelief.
Just how long was this kid planning the return of Mandalorians? And why?
For Anakin, it was simple. He is not a Jedi or Sith; what else is there to pick in Galaxy that still exists? The answer is Mandalorians.
But it's not just that. Mandalorian will be his backbone, the Commandos of his Faction. Will he have force-sensitive in his ranks?
Possibly, but not now or in a few years. Anakin might have an order of some sort once both Jedi and Sith are gone.
He needs to wipe them out. Both sides are far too extreme to ever consider merging into something worthwhile.
“Space Wizard, remember?”
*Snort*
“...I guess.”
Once the Mandalorians were ready, Anakin left them with the Lucrehulk. Of course, the Lucrehulk is manned by his droids.
That means that the moment they leave Scarif, they won't return unless the Chosen One sends a specific signal to the droids.
Otherwise, the Star System doesn't even exist.
As they left, Anakin returned to his work.
He started checking the data he had recovered on starships.
“...Hmm…this one garbage— looks outdated— poor design—”
The Chosen One kept on skimming through files until he found something interesting.
“..Well, well— what a surprise.” Anakin started laughing from happiness as he just found a gold mine!
“But this does make sense. The Subjugator was made by them, which means Providence should be there as well.”
What Chosen One was looking at was the Providence-class Dreadnought!
This ship is the core vessel of Separatists they should be using in Clone Wars, and now he has the schematics!
Now that he could see the schematic, he started adding pieces and adjusting; he roughly got a Subjugator Class Heavy Cruiser.
The base is that of Providence. He needs to rip off parts, adjust a few things, and enlarge the superstructure.
One by one, the image of the capital ship is slowly coming together.
‘The best part is that I can test as much as I want. Starforge is right there.’
Anakin chuckled as he proceeded to tinker with the schematics.
~~~

Time continued to flow over a year has passed, and The Chosen One’s faction slowly continued to grow. The Mandalorians under Anakin’s rule continue to grow in ranks.

Having a lot of credits helps. Their influence in crumbling companies only continued to grow.

With Pacifist Mandalorian rule, it was pretty challenging to take over in the ‘old Mandalorian way’.

The best option is to relocate, but Mandalorian companies stay in Mandalorian space. So, alternative ways of investing have to be used.

Still, Anakin prepared several Providence Class Dreadnoughts for power projection, and not too soon as Mandalorians on Concordia started to notice something fishy.

Specifically, Death Watch uses Concordian Crescent Technologies as its cover.

“We have issues.”

Jango contacted Anakin, who was tinkering with Ion technology.

“Let me guess, Death Watch?” The Chosen One placed down his dirty cloth, which he used to clean his hands.

“Yes. They know we have credits, so they are trying to raid us.”

“I suppose we add the group to our fold.”

“If you use Lucrehulk, people can connect us to the Sullust raid.”

‘Ah, yes. The Sullust raid. What a sore spot for the Trade Federation. I can still feel the howls of the Dark Side from those two.’

After the raid, the Trade Federation was under heavy fire from the Senate once again. This time, there was no Sidious or his party to pull them out.

The Corporation lost its influence in the Senate and whatever benefits it had. On top of that, they had to pay the reparations to Sullust.

Even with the over-the-top bureaucracy of the Republic, the credit grubbers could not escape ‘justice’.

Anakin even sensed how happy Padme was with the results.

But this was another nail towards the incoming war as the Trade Federation constantly told them it was not their ship. But it was Lucrehulk, B1, and Vultures. All those were of the Trade Federation.

The droids even confirmed that they worked for the Trade Federation, so the Neimiodians could only gnash their teeth from frustration.

However, this helped the Sith a tiny bit as the Trade Federation was in their palm completely.

Not that it helps much, as the Republic doesn't want them anymore. But on the other end, without the Trade Federation, the economy will take a hit, a big hit.

“No worries, Jango, remember the schematics? I have a couple of dreadnaughts rolled out.” With a smile, the Chosen One got up and stretched out.

“I shall journey to Concordia; I will see what is the deal with Death Watch; at the same time, I will recruit them.”

“Easy said that done. Death Watch is quite extreme, but they do follow Mandalorian code.”

“Meaning I have to beat them up.”

“Precisely, and be careful with your Dreadnoughts. Mandalore still has a defence in place.”

“...Oh… I see…”

Anakin had a thoughtful look before starting to grin from ear to ear.

‘This is perfect. More heat for Trade Federations?’

“In that case, I guess a blockade over Mandalore would be a nice distraction?”

Jango’s eyes widened for a second; a slight smile was on his lips, too.

“This would push more Mandalorians to join us as well. Well played, Mandalore. We shall wait for the results.”

After finishing the call, Anakin proceeded to take a shower and change his clothes.

~~~
The Chosen One placed his robes on, and on top of that, he had a Mandalorian Beskar armour painted in black and green.
It was pretty thin armour, but with alchemy and sorcery, this thing was borderline indestructible.
Lastly, he placed the helmet on, and with a hand motion, his lightsabers flew over to his side as he placed them on his belt.
Once the prep work was done, he boarded a shuttle, which took him to a waiting Providence Class Dreadnought.
“Prepare a new Lucrehulk Class Freighter; we will replay the same scheme from last time.”
“Oh? Bossman! Can we play Trade Federation this time!? Please!” The B1 ones looked excited to play ‘bad guys’.
“You can’t. You are programmed to be my comms officer. You already have an important role.” Anakin played the ‘You are important’ card on his droid.
“You are right! Sorry Bossman! I will return to work!”
‘It was super effective.’ The Chosen One chuckled internally.
As Anakin was walking to the bridge of the Providence ship, the Starforge was manufacturing the Lucrehulk according to the schematics.
In just a few hours, the ship's construction was completed, and in another couple of hours, the vessel was loaded by Vultures, B1 and Droidekas.
It was time to visit his world.
“Set course for Mandalore. The Lucrehulk enters the system first and begins with the blockade while we exist in the hyperspace behind Concordia.”
“Roger, Roger Bossman!”
A few seconds later, the newly constructed Lucrehulk jumped into hyperspace, followed by Anakin’s Providence.
As the ship travelled through hyperspace, the Chosen One sat cross-legged in the captain's seat, deep in meditation.
‘Pre Vizsla, do you have what I want?’ Anakin asked through the force.
A blonde man hundred of light-years felt a shiver wash his whole back.
It was a cold feeling of something big coming his way.
I think this Star Wars fanfic Became one of the best of Dragon15681's I would love to see more chapters.
Aboode
So any chance Anakin is going to get rid of the giant, obvious command towers on his ships? I've never understood why all the big star wars ships seem to have these incredibly obvious and vulnerable command centers instead of putting them in the main body under heavy armor. Also, doesn't Jango absolutely despise Death Watch? I thought he tried to completely exterminate them after they were responsible for his mentor and comrades' deaths? I'm not sure he would be this accepting of Anakin recruiting them.
