Volcanicus was out of words. This kid not only ended the issue of the true darkness trying to invade the realm, but he destroyed the other thrones.

That means that elements which were under the direct control of the Elemental Lords are gone. They were released from the hold.

Only the Fire throne remains! That makes Raynor Valeron the sole Elemental Lord!

It will take thousands of years for the dismissed elemental lords to recover their original power and try to regain the thrones.

That is if Raynor will allow anyone to enter the highest plane and build their thrones!

‘Kid, I wanted you to take a short seat and allow people to access fire once more, but you destroyed the thrones and ended hundreds of years-old conflict in a second.’

Volcanicus explained this to Raynor through their connection.

“Meh, I thought this was your throne room. But now it is mine.” Without bothering more, he walked over to the massive throne, which shrunk to his size. At that moment, the teen could feel that the plane had become his!

Before, he could feel that this plane had connections to other beings, but the moment he destroyed the thrones. Those connections shattered, leaving him as the sole ruler.

‘This was where we, the Elemental lords, ruled everything.’

“I see. So how do I start the fire again?”

‘Sit on the throne, and you will understand.’

The moment he sat down, he could feel whispering, a lot of whispering! People were praying to Volcanicus to give fire back!

For a moment, he tuned down those whisperings. And focuses on his intentions. Flames, one by one, returned to the human world.

Raynor finally saw what the human realm looked like in this isekai place. It was a modern-ish medieval world. Since tech doesn't exist, many modern appliances exist thanks to spirits.

As he returned fire, he was about to continue his Pokemon journey, but there was one voice which was much more potent than anything else.

‘That voice. It's Rubia Elstein. She is the Fire Queen. Each Elemental Lord has their dedicated Princess Maidens who perform rites and rituals. The one at the top is the Queen. Directly under Elemental Lord, we have contracts with the Queens.’

“Okay.”

‘Since you contract me. In the most brutal way. She is now yours.’

Raynor blinked a couple of times.

“So she is my— wife?”

He asked dumbly.

‘By human standards, it's the appropriate term.’

Without wasting time, he took a step.

A few moments ago, Rubia Elstein was performing the dance ritual to appease the wrath of her lord. But the Elemental Lord was incredibly angry because of the poor harvest.

So he started to rain fire. But then it all stopped. Fire disappeared. It disappeared completely! People could not wield fire. They could not create fire! Nothing worked!

The girl collapsed on the ground and proceeded to hold her head. Her eyes were blank. Empty of any light.

Volcanicus has abandoned them!

But then flames returned. The temperature returned to normal.

Rubia’s eyes snapped wide as she looked around. Everything was okay!?

“...What is going on?” She softly asked herself in confusion.

At that moment, a tornado of flames manifested next to her and descended to the ground, shattering!

The flames revealed a male teen dressed in simple clothes.

Her eyes bulged out as she could feel a connection! Her contract with Volcanicus tells her that Volcanicus was in front of her!

“...You—”

No more words came out of her mouth as she couldn't muster courage.

To form a contract with an Elemental Lord to this degree is impossible. She, as Fire Queen, could wield some of his power. But it's simply impossible to wield beyond a certain point.

Nothing like what she was seeing!

This guy turned Volcanicus into his personal spirit!

“Are you Rubia Elstein?”

“...Y-Y-Yes!” She immediately got up on her feet and bowed her head. There was a blush on her cheeks. Her crimson hair and ruby-like eyes combined with her red cheeks made her look like a tomato. The girl realised that she was now something akin to his wife!

“Good. Then I am here to tell you that–” He showed his tattoo, causing Rubia’s eyes to widen! That was no standard contract! No, he stripped Volcanicus of his freedom! What she saw was insane!

That makes him a legitimate Elemental Lord!

“...How? How can you even accomplish something like this!” She squeaked her question.

“...well—”

Before he could explain, the wide double doors opened, and girls dressed as knights rushed in. These were the temple guards.

“No male is permitted in this area!” Before the guards could surround them. Raynor's gaze went from Rubia to the guards.

“W-Wait! He is—” The Crimson-haired girl was about to explain, but Raynor smiled.

“Volcanicus.”

With a single sentence, flames surrounded the entire area as the fire pinned down the knights.

“...Y-You…”

“I am the Fire Elemental Lord.” He said with a smile as he lifted his hand. He was showing the tattoo.

“...N-No way! No man could wield Divine Energy! Or even become an Elementalist!”

“Well, I found a way, and now I am your Lord. Or do you challenge my right?” Raynor asked nicely.

He moved his right hand to the side, and flames gathered. He has created an exquisite red and crimson sword. The ground under the sword started to melt away.

The temperature rose in the area as well. Girls could feel their skins drying, and armours were getting far too warm.

What they saw was Volcanicus in his Elemental Weapon form! Something no one has ever seen in the entirety of history!

“...Wait! Please stop! My Lord!” Rubia pleaded for the girls. She wanted to get closer, but it was too hot even for her!

“Since you insist.”

Just like that, all the flames were gone. The temperature dropped to normal levels.

Everyone sighed in relief. The knights dropped to their knees.

“My Lord! Apologies for not understanding the situation. We beg for forgiveness.” The knight girls started to beg to forgive them.

In front of the elemental Lord, they were ants, and in front of a human who could command Volcanicus even less than ants!

“Hmm. It depends. You ladies dedicated the shrine to Volcanicus, is it not?” Raynor inquired, but Rubia was one step ahead.

“No. This shrine is dedicated to you now. Since you contracted Fire Lord Volcanicus.” She explained with a serious tone.

“Oh? Is it true? Ladies?” He asked the knight girls.

“Yes. My Lord, we serve you.” They all replied at the same time.”

“Wonderful. I can sense you all have Fire Spirits.” With casual motion, a silhouette of Volcanicus appeared behind him. It made the knights stare in awe and fear as they wondered what would happen next!

With casual motion, some Divine Energy flew to the knights, making them sense a spike in power. It was enormous in their eyes. But Raynor didn't even use 1% to improve them.

“Serve me well, and the blessing will last your whole life.”

The girls proceeded to whisper to each other. Does that mean they can use their powers beyond the age of 20+!?

Even Rubia looked at him with some awe. Their jobs are, after all, temporary. As Fire Queen, they can only serve till 30, even less sometimes. Some get replaced before even thirty.

That's because spirits only like beautiful people. Even then, they only accept females as elementalists.

All of these things should imbalance society. But not quite as beyond age thirty people don't have powers. That makes the society very strange, at least from what Raynor has seen through the help of Volcanicus.

Fighters, Knights and religious people are girls.

It made Raynor ponder if he was in some harem novel.

“Yes! We will do as you command! My Lord!” The knight girls swiftly pledged themselves to him. They didn't care if their new lord was a man. He still wields the infinite power of the Elemental Lord.

And at the corner of their mind, they are all full of glee that they will have their powers longer than any other regular Elementalist in the world!

“My name is Raynor Valeron.”

“Yes. Lord Valeron!”

“Now go. Gather everyone who serves in this Temple. I wish to see them all.” He motioned for them to follow his commands.

Without wasting a second, they all dashed out from the main temple. They left Raynor and Rubia alone.

He turned back at her.

The Fire Queen started to fiddle as she saw his gaze.

“It appears you are my wife now.” He said with an amused tone. He won't be lying. The girl is gorgeous. According to Volcanicus, they must look as beautiful as possible to make the Divine Energy stay with them longer.

It is a wicked plot point to make girls have long hair and look more like princesses/maidens/Priestesses.

Not that he will ever complain. He is a sucker for those and long hair.

“...Y-Yes— H-How should I call you?” Rubia was fiddling with her shrine maiden clothes. More precisely, the long sleeves.

She is wearing a coronet and has fans in her hands. According to Volcanicus, they can perform rituals which would work like formations from what Raynor understood.

“How does your mother call your father?” He asked with a slight teasing tone.

However, Rubia is quite clueless about flirting, seduction and teasing. As she seriously pondered on his words.

“It was a tease. You are quite sheltered.” He sighed while explaining to her.

His explanation made her blush return with force.

“I-I am sorry. I spend most of my life training to be the Fire Queen.” She explained while looking at her toes.

“It's fine. Relax. I suppose it's my job to show the world to you.” He said with a thoughtful look since he was the Elemental Lord, he could do whatever he wanted with his temple and followers.

“...My Lord…” She lifted her head and looked at him.

“To you, I am Raynor, my Queen.”

This time, his tease had an effect as she blushed and swiftly looked down at her toes once more.

As he was waiting for people to gather, he ended up sitting down on stairs just a few metres away from Volcanicus flames.

Rubia ended up sitting in a classic Japanese style, which made the teen realise that he was indeed in a Japanese harem novel of some sort.

The culture is that of the European medieval world, but there are a lot of Japanese cultural aesthetics, like shrine maidens and their style of dancing, which is similar to geisha.

“Once this is over, we will go on a date~ after all, it's strange to be married and not even going on dates beforehand.” He said with crossed arms. He is sort of feeling robbed in a strange way!

But Rubia’s eyes bulged out as steam came from her ears. The girl ended up placing her hands on her face and trying to hide her expression.

The new Elemental Lord had no idea he had saved the beauty sitting beside him. The current Fire Queen was destined to become something terrible. She witnessed the darkness in the throne room of the Elemental Lords. It drove her to utter despair as she vowed to Kill Elemental Lords twisted by the darkness by any means necessary.

Her title became the Calamity Queen.

She was close to that despair. But now? She was feeling all bubbly in her gut from excitement. For once, she no longer despairs and hopes that she will be able to make her new lord happy, happy enough that he won't do what Volcanicus did.

“So what is your answer?” He asked her as he turned to the side and looked at her.

Her reaction was a silly grin, which she tried hiding under embarrassment.

The girl will be happy just by eating porridge for a date by this point, as she was happy with the conclusion!

But Raynor’s expression was that of exasperation. He can sense her emotions through their connections.

‘You dumb spirit, how much did you torture my wife?’ He asked the only spirit who could speak with him. His wolf is still considered a baby.
