Yae looked at the precisely cut-apart item which according to Marcus is called Television. The World in which she has ended up is far more advance than she has expected.

Elements in this place are…tamer than from the one which she came from.

To compensate, humans in this place are far more common and their inventions are far greater.

Yet, the power Marcus' has greatly shocked and even terrified her.

She has been sent here by that being to watch over and befriend the potential Tyrant of the World… Worlds…

As someone who has experience with…Tyrant, she knows some things.

Yet, this power as he said everything is created from small balls and now he showed what happens when he interacts with those small balls.

He dismantled the TV without touching it, without any sort of motion.

How one should fight this kind of power?

"Hehe! It worked! I sliced specific areas which connect the parts!" Marcus said that as he quickly rushed over and started to inspect the broken-down TV.

It looked like all the screws were undone at the same specific time and then it just came apart. It's scary… internally Yae gulped down. She needs to make sure he doesn't do this to a person!

Slowly he took the whole thing apart and checked out all the parts more closely.

Yae jumped down from her high area and landed on Marcus' shoulder.

She inspected what was inside of this TV… it was all sorts of unfamiliar things for her…how can this thing show pre-recorded images?

"Interesting isn't it? The TV gets information via cable which is the form of some sort of waves, then this part here make it into a visible image." Marcus explained all that to the pink fox.

As he explained to her he then grabbed one piece of the TV and started what Yae thinks is him using his powers to understand more.

Eventually… after several minutes he lifted his hand and pointed at the side… moments later… dust and other waste rushed into one location and started to morph!

'No way… ' The fox's mouth slowly opened as she saw a replica of the TV!

'This… this is his power!?'

'If he has this much potential then I need to actively make him grow in the right direction. Otherwise, he will abuse this power and take over the world in a matter of few years!' Yae sweatdropped internally as she saw this. She started to think about some things. She needs him to turn on his Group Chat function which is the real reason for her to be sent here.

Otherwise, he will get obsessed with his power which can't bode well for humanity outside his house.

"Great isn't it? I copied everything from what I scanned and put everything together how it was before." Marcus proudly said that as he walked over and touched the TV. it looked pristine, new even.

Seeing that Yae can't speak normally the boy used his power to communicate with her.

"Nice isn't it?"

"Yes… your power is something I have never seen before. It's dangerous so be careful not to use it on people."  She asked him nicely.

"I won't going to use it on people who don't deserve it." He said with looking away at something. It seems he has something in mind.

"Good… now why don't you explain everything to me." The fox asked him with a small smile it looked quite cute. The less he thinks about using this on people the better.

"Sure…"

It didn't take long for the boy to finish the whole stuff his father has put away in the attic. Some of the material was missing but he enjoyed the challenge.

Marcus turned to his notebooks, it was interesting to read stuff written down by this father from his younger days!

Oh, he even picked up Russian along the way… as a side effect. Who knew languages are so easy? He wanted to test this more later on some random language.

For now, he turned towards what he loves, he understood that with his superpower he can practically make anything he wants.

The issue is that he needs to understand what is he making.

This leads him to remember that his School has a library… library full of knowledge which he wants to read!

In meantime, he spends the rest of the days learning from his father about their car. Audi is good and all, but it doesn't beat his dream BMW…

Regardless he can't be picky about this… because of his processing power, he took all the words his father said to his heart.

And of course, he scanned the car multiple times over until he knew it like the back of his hand.

'This means I can recreate one… but… I still don't know a bunch of things, and what they do…

I need to experiment with things in a safe place…'

Marcus was thinking about this as he was seating in his father's Audi.

On his lap was the cute fox who was just napping there. Since several days have passed it was time for his parents to meet with Yae.

"Mark… why there is a fox on your lap?" His father said that as he looked at his son who was just sitting there and reading the Audi manual….the manual which comes with each car, he is reading on how to maintain the car.

"This is Yae, she got attached to me from the moment she saw me."

"Oh?"

"Yep, I already taught her some tricks."

"Like?"

"Watch this."

And sure enough… Marcus was able to impress his father enough to allow him to keep Yae. It was a choreographed act needed to allow him to keep the fox.

For one… foxes are wild animals, so for him to tame one like that made his father proud, same time his mother had an easier time accepting that they have a fox for a pet.

After all, taking care of such animals is extra hard. Or at least it should be as Yae is way, way smarter than any animal they saw before.

Just like that, his parents had another thing to brag about their son.

As School restarted for Marcus… it was a strange time for him. For one… he just started to attend school and for a second he was out for over two weeks most of the kids already had groups of their own.

Though his story was told by his parents to the teacher, who told to the class which lead to everyone asking questions. The girls were more caring which comes with their nature, while the boys… the boys were strange case.

Marcus stayed with the boys and tried to blend in, though he found them painfully boring.

When it was a break, the boy went to the first floor where the library was located.

His eyes gleamed with excitement as he saw several rows of books to check.

Though his happiness swiftly deflated, as he realised that the books here are meant for kids and teenagers!

There was nothing of major interest for him. However, his eyes ended up on computers…

Since he doesn't have one he doesn't truly find interest in them. However, he remembered what his father said.

'Computers are the future, in the future cars will have onboard computers.' Recalling his father's words Marcus walked over and inspected the computer.

Pitty that there is no electricity. Otherwise, he would check out what is the big fuss about them.

Instead, he started reading short guidebooks about them and the potential they hold, this has severely impressed him. He started to grasp what this technology could do!

It could severely lower the amount of work needed for him to work on his cars! He could design them easily on the computer, it could do a bunch of calculations, there is no limit to this potential as he could just add more processing power or storage…

It is simply a gold mine for someone like him who wishes to make stuff himself!

So without wasting much time he took a seat not far from the computer and pulled out a few books on computers pretending to read them.

As he already finished most of these guidebooks… well they were booklets for him with his reading speed.

Regardless, he needed this as cover as he started to focus to use his powers.

He needed to scan the computers. He did it several times over all three which were in the library. Once he was satisfied he left the library and went back to the class.

When the classes were finished Marcus was walking home with his new 'friends' well…classmates… from his limited understanding about them he has two braggarts, one on the richer side, well more like upper middle class like him, his father earn those bucks, and then the weird one… he has slightly longer hair than usually… why would a guy have long hair? That's girls' stuff… according to this kid, he got into a disagreement with his hairdresser… who is his mother…

The guy lives with a hairdresser, but he doesn't want to cut his hair… what is wrong with him?

As they were all walking back the boy was forced to listen to their average conversation, which includes a ton of cartoons they had all been watching and discussing the best moments in them.

Most of the stuff they watch is boring, it's all about amusement for these kids, nothing solid or creative. It was driving him mad, that was until everyone noticed a fox rushing towards them.

The kids quickly shattered to allow the fox to pass. It was after all Yae who jumped right towards Marcus who caught her in his hands…

The first thing he heard when he wanted to talk with her was.

"Snuggle, snuggle, snuggle!"

"Yae, it's only been five hours…"  He could only sweat drop when he heard her excited and happy tone of the fox.

"Mark how come that fox is so affectionate with you!?" His classmates quickly surrounded him as they looked at the smirking fox.

They all saw regular orange-furred fox

"This is Yae, she is my fox, I got her over a week ago."

"Whoa! A fox for a pet! That's cool! How come she is… so calm around people!?" One of the kids asked as they all started to surround him.

"See… now everyone knows you are a cool kid! No need to thank me!" Yae smugly said that as she was basking in the attention.

"You just want the attention." Marcus pointed out the amount of smugness that he feels is radiating from her.

"Maybe, but that's just to brighten your day." She smoothly explained herself, it was hard to believe her, it sounded quite fishy for him.

Thankfully the attention didn't last very long as everyone had to go their separate ways. Marcus was walking past the small market area, which has a small supermarket, outside this small supermarket is an outside marketplace with several kiosks.

Around this small supermarket, where the car park, in there is an open area for a certain statue

Since he is walking not far from there, he saw this statue of the wolf and the girl, this was a nice time to see it.

"Oh, that's nice. A girl with a wolf."

"It is, my grandfather, worked on this back in the day. Anyway, let's continue going home, I got some stuff to do," Marcus said as he looked at it one more time. He is going to make some great stuff as well! It's in his genes!

"Hmm? You look excited did you learn something good? It was boring without you! The place is dead without anyone in the house!" Yae complained about her situation as both his parents were out working. Leaving her alone in the house.

"Sorry about that, and yes I did learn! I learn something very good!"

Marcus smiled from ear to ear. He got a book on intro into programming! It's going to be great but he needs to make the computer work…

'Batteries? Oh… those are good!'

"Hmm? You sound excited! This is good, it appears this school is not complete waste of time!

Once Marcus was back his parents returned shortly as well, the reason why they return so early is because of a lack of light since the electricity is down.

According to the early estimation, it going to take a while for the lights to return, close to several months. Even when the power grid maintenance teams are working around the clock.

'Stupid politicians, since elections are close they throwing everything to fix this. Bunch of morons, it took them over a week to decide on this and once they decided only then they decided to use this as their political agenda.

The new election motto is to make the power grid secure.' Marcus thought to himself with a sneer as he heard what his father said. Since in his workshop they can use car radios to listen to the capital radio channel.

After finishing with the food Marcus went to his room and ended up on his bed, he started to think where he could make his secret laboratory.

He wondered for a bit before he remembered what his classmates said about certain cartoons. The only cartoon he actively remembers because it sounded interesting.

A kid having a laboratory behind a bookshelf or sometimes underground…

Why sometimes? Because each episode is different, it doesn't have a proper story, each episode is a story on its own.

At least that's what his classmates say.

Still, the idea is good, so he will adapt it.

'Underground it is then.'

As he was thinking about it he activated his powers, the waves washed over the whole area. He felt where the garage was, and how it was situated from the house.

Marcus realised that his power works how he wants it to work.

'It appears from the image I have in my mind.'

Just to make sure he sends several waves one after another.

'I see… the image is even clearer if the waves are sent one after another in rapid succession.'

After gaining a clear image the seven-year-old boy got up from his bed and looked around.

He was thinking where the secret entrance should be.

The thing was he doesn't have a bookshelf like that. All he has is a wardrobe connected with several shelves. It's like a whole system of wardrobes and furniture to keep glasses and drawers and such…

This leaves him with the ground. But the issue with the ground is it's going to be visible if he just pulls out several wooden tiles like that…

'Unless I replace them each time I enter and leave…'

Walking around in his room, Marcus selected the place where he wants those stairs to be.

He used his ability to recall where people walk around in his room. In other words, he selected the place where people less walk around.

It was close to a wall which is connected to the built-in fireplace in the kitchen. In other words, it's the wall close to the door. No one sticks around the wall which is close to the entryway.

It's the wall which is warm when the fireplace is in use, all of his other stuff is away from it.

After selecting this place Marcus crouched down and lifted the carpet away, he put his hand on it. That moment he closed his eyes and cross-referenced his previous scans and started to draw mentally… in other words…he was playing with lego in his mind.

Much more advanced version of lego… more like shape-shifting lego as he first drew a cube-shaped form, then fortified the surroundings as he doesn't want for it to cave in.

Then…he compressed the cube. Form around 3x3 metres to a small calm size cube.

When Marcus opened his eyes nothing has happened. Since all that happened was underneath those wooden tiles.

That moment the boy tried to stand on the surface where he removed the concrete.

Slowly he stood there.

"Hmm…feels solid… however, I won't going to risk it." As he thought about it he focused to make the tiles much more solid.

It's like he is filling up all those empty 'spots' with more wood…

When he saw the result he could only grimace. The wood looks, slightly different from the rest… it stands out quite a bit.

To fix that he decided to improve all those wooden tiles.

It only lasted a few moments once he was finished he removed the tiles above the hole he created.

A small smile appeared on his face as he saw how it looked.

Before he could proceed his pink fox jumped on his should as she looked at his handiwork.

She looked confused for a bit.

"This is the entrance to my underground laboratory."

Yea still looked confused as she looked at him with a slightly turned head.

"What is laboratory?"

"You never heard about it?" He asked with a baffled tone. She never heard what is a laboratory!? Does she comes from sticks or something!?

The fox shook her head.

"Laboratory is where scientists discover new things! Find cures for diseases and things like that! such a thing is just perfect for me because of my powers! I don't have anywhere to test stuff like that. So, I need a lab!"

As he explained Yae had realising look.

"Oh, I see! It's like a hideout of superheroes!"

Now he looked at her with a deadpan look.

"You don't know laboratories but you know about secret hideouts?"  To his question she just shrugged, it looked amusing especially when a fox is doing it.

"I read quite a few novels, so I know my things."

"I see… well, let's return to things I need to do." Once again Marcus activated his powers and created stairs and started to dig deeper into the ground.

As he was doing that he was solidifying the ground so that the soft ground wouldn't fall in.

Though some issues started to appear… the place was getting dark… and that thing in corner of his eyes only got more annoying with the fact that it was getting dark!

"This thing is getting annoying!"

Once again he pressed on it and a pop-up appeared!

[Do you wish to create a new chat group?]

"..."

The fox looked at him for a bit. She rubbed her cheek into his, to calm him down.

"I think I am seeing things…"

"Doubtful, you could just scan yourself and see if you seeing things." She offered a solution to him.

Yae said with certainty as she had a small smile on her face. She knew that he finally activated his chat powers.

Marcus nodded at her and he did just that he scanned himself, this was the first time he did that and…oh boy his brain was the most complex thing he has seen so far!

After doing that he instinctively knew that he was okay, and this thing in front of him was the real deal!

"So… it appears, I have another thing…power of some sort…"

When he said that he pressed [Yes]

Once again he pressed [Yes] mentally.

Another pop-up appeared, replacing the previous one.

"Hmm, let's see…"

'Tech Chat? General chat? Smart people chat? Anti-Stupid people chat? Damn it's hard to pick…'

"Fine… let's go with Anti-Stupid People Chat Group."

Marcus mentally pressed [Yes].

The pop-up disappeared and was replaced by a window, it was an empty window, only at the bottom there were some words written down.

The boy thought that the group was private and only he will be able to invite the ones he wants! If anyone can join then how he will know who is stupid and who is not!?

As he was thinking about this he noticed something at the bottom

Once she was done the text moved up and whatever she wrote was at the very bottom.

'So it's like a wall of text.'

[Silver Heiress: Why you named the chat 'Anti-Stupid People Chat Group? Your naming sense is bad.]

Marcus frowned when he read this. This girl… she is annoying.

Mentally he wanted to write and… for some reason he knew how to write it.

He sat down on the newly created stairs and started to type.

[Genius Boy: I don't want stupid people to join this group, there are already too many of them around.]

The boy wrote it down and waited for her response.

What he saw from her response was something he didn't expect!

She agreed with him!

[Silver Heiress:... The way you put it… can't argue with that. However, the name needs some finesse.]

He snorted when he read the last sentence. He likes that bluntness in the name. He won't go change it! Not that the knows how to!

[Genius Boy: No, I won't going to change it, I like that bluntness. Let people know who are part of this Group!

Anyway, you some sort of Heiress of some company?]

Marcus asked with some weary, he dislikes government and those rich people who are dumb. Her being an Heiress is approaching that line!

[Silver Heiress:... Yes, recently I became one.]

"Hmm, recently? It looks like something happened, she doesn't want to talk."

[Silve Heiress: And you? It appears this weird power has given you the title of 'Genius'. What is it all about?]

She diverted the chat towards him, which Marcus didn't notice. He is more interested to speak with her about his superpower!

'Wait… I can't just reveal my wave power! No… let's just tell her the basics!'

[Genius Boy: I was hit by powerful solar radiation which by all means fried my brain, but by some miracle, I recovered and the doctors said that I process things faster and I can recall everything I read or did since from the time when I am self-aware.] Marcus explained smoothly to the Silver Heiress.

[Silver Heiress:... So… you Genius by accident? That's… unique to say the least… I thought you got exposed to some sort of experimental Dust or naturally Genius… but Solar Radiation…what is that?]

Marcus frowned when he read all of that!

'Dust? What can Dust do? I mean, I sneeze when there is a lot of dust… well, not anymore, since I find more uses for dust, how come she doesn't know what is Solar Radiation? It's all over the news now!'

The boy started rapidly typing mentally, this chat thing is incredible, he doesn't need to do anything with his hands to write!

[Genius Boy: Dust what can dust do? All it does is makes one sneeze, and how come you don't know about Solar Radiation? It was all over the news, my city Power Grid is fried, we don't have any power for over two weeks! now I can't watch anything on television!]

Once again Marcus waited for her answer, this girl is confusing him! Dust experiment? How can you experiment with dust? It doesn't make any sense!

[Silver Heiress: First of all… I am not talking about THAT Dust! How did you even think about that?

And second, I haven't heard anything on the news in Atlas, which means it was not here, Third how you don't know Dust? How is your place operating if you don't have Dust?]

Her answer confused him even more. Atlas? What is that? He never heard about such a country! And how can Dust run anything?

[Genius Boy: I am confused, so very confused! I only know regular dust, and everything is run by Electricity how it should be! There is no other power source. And what is Atlas?]

Marcus brushed his hair with frustration, this girl is confusing the living daylight out of him!

[Silver Heiress: it's strange… you are not from around here, are you? Atlas is the name of the only Country in the continent of Solitas, and Dust runs everything here, it deep Atlas afloat, though I can't believe that your things are run by pure electricity… how does that even work?]

'Continent of Solitas? There is no such thing! No way… she is not from Earth! Is she an alien!? Is my power allows me to talk with people from outer space!?'

The boy was shellshocked when he realised that this Heiress could be an alien!

[Genius Boy: I can't believe it! You are an alien! There is no such continent where I am from! We have Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and North and South America! No such continent like Solitas exists on Earth!]

Now the boy was excited when he realised that this girl is not from his world! What kind of tech do they have!? What kind of machines and cars do they have!?

So curious! He is burning with the need to know!

[Silver Heiress: Alien!? You are the one who is alien here! Now it does make sense why you don't know Dust… though you said Electricity… how do you make it without Dust?]

The girl asked him. With a sign, he decided to answer her questions. The boy realised that this can take some time, so he walked out from the short tunnel he created and closed it with new wood tiles he created. Then he proceeded to lie down on his bed. This chat power adjusted to him so easily, it felt like he had a TV screen inside his vision…

Shortly he answered how they get the power, he made sure he explained as simply as possible. He needed to get into some details about Fossil fuel which made her send a lot of '...'

Though he was as confused as she was about these 'Grimm' and that she lives in a floating city by the name 'Atlas' it's floating because of 'Gravity Dust'.

In other words, her world was very much different from his!

[Silver Heiress: You saying that in your place humans live everywhere? What does it look like?] To her question Marcus tried several more functions on his chat group. Turns out he could take pictures with his gaze alone once he presses a button mentally!

So Marcus took picture of the map and send it to her.

[Genius Boy: It means that the majority of the world is taken over by people, there are over 200 countries, many different languages, and cultures. it's just one big mess.] The boy typed down with some annoyance. One could tell that he doesn't like this at all.

[Silver Heiress: This…now I am convinced that you are not from Remnant! This is so fascinating! From my understanding, your world is much bigger than mine! So many countries!]

From the words he was seeing it appears the girl is excited… contrary to how he is feeling about this.

[Genius Boy: It may look nice, but it's not, we don't have a single government, the world is ruled by popularity contests. Even an idiot can become a President if he is famous enough. This has a huge amount of consequences… I could complain for hours about all of this.]

[Silver Heiress: At least in your World humanity is not at risk of being exterminated by Grimm. Believe me, your place sounds much better than mine.]

Her answer made him frown for a bit. He didn't know what to send back.

[Genius Boy: If you say so, what do you do in your free time?]

Now Marcus wanted to change the conversation, he wants to know what girls do in a world like the one she lives in!

[Silver Heiress: My life is not that interesting, I have to attend boring meetings, balls and other parties with my Father, Since my sister decided not to be Heiress anymore, It falls on me to live up to my family name.]

The boy frowned when he read this, this… this sounded like his world! There is no difference between what the rich and the nobles used to do back in the day!

[Genius Boy: That's… not different from Earth, wasn't Humanity close to extinction in your world? Why such nonsense?]

[Silver Heiress: I know what you mean … don't ask me, I didn't decide on any of that, I always wanted to be Huntress.]

Marcus raised his eyebrow when he saw that, Huntress? Is it another version of Hunter? She wants to hunt those Grimm thingies?

[Genius Boy: Huntress? As in some way related to Hunter? How will you be able to do that? Do you have some sort of advanced technology?] The boy wrote the last part with extra giddiness! Here it comes! According to her Atlas is a floating city does it mean with that Dust thing they have some sort of more impressive technology!?

[Silver Heiress: Yes, to fight Grimm we all have our Aura awakened, Aura is like soul manifestation? Does it make sense? We have a protective layer around us, and after some time we develop what is called Semblance, this is our power against Grimm, Semblance ability depends on the person.]

'Now, that she said that it…This sounds more like a book or TV series world of some sort. A fantasy… but, dang it sounds cool. More interesting than this parody show I live in…'

[Silver Heiress: Mine however is different, it's heraldry, my mother has it, my Sister has it and my Grandfather had it. It's quite powerful, it's called Glyph. Combined with dust we can create different results.]

Marcus could feel smugness radiating from her words. It appears he found out what makes her smug about.

'I wonder how would she react to my power?'
