Some life updates!

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates lately! Life has been crazy busy, and my health hasn't been the best either; I kept posting short updates on the Patreon Discord server to keep you in the loop, but finally got around to have a proper post here too, sorry for the delay!

So, biggest news is about me and my brother moving, as mentioned in a previous update!
With what part we got of our father's inheritance (which has been a drama trainwreck and exhausting on its own, but I wasn't gonna make an economical mess out of my poor dad's death, so it's ok how things ended up. At least we cut ties with some snakes who never considered us family and the stressful drama is over) we managed to buy a little apartment, since our current landlord has been hinting none too gently for a while now that he wants us to get out (I think it's bc it needs the apartment for his son but fuck, be nicer about it pls ;w; ).
It was a real bargain, and I keep hoping there's not any sort of catch going on (I....watched too many horror movies LMAO), but otherwise I'm very happy to finally have a place me and Jai can call ours! We made the last payment last week and got the keys, so now the apartment it's officially ours and we can move in anytime! ^^

The move itself will be slow, since in August most workers are on vacation, and the place needs several things before we can move in: we need to completely replace the bathroom, fix the electric sockets and stuff (sorry, dunno how to explain in English x,D), paint the walls and substitute the old broken kitchen tiles, put iron bars at the windows (we're on ground floor), repair an inner door, get a cleaning crew bc the place was left a MESS (and Jai's a germophobe), get the new furniture we're missing (the place we're currently at was mostly furnished already, so we only have like...a sofa and a bed, along with a few decorative things like a small bookcase etc.), pack up our things (despite the lack of furniture, we have MANY things x,D), and get our papers change to switch our residence to this city rather than our old town (current landlord never allowed us to use the apartment as our residence).
It's a lot of stuff, and with mostly everyone closed for August as said above + Jai having like 4 university exams in September, we'll most likely be doing things slowly and be all settled in October. I can't wait! ♥

Now, our father's money covered barely the new apartment and agency expenses, so everything else, furniture included, it's out of my pocket, which leads to the next point of the update...yes, as you noticed I ended up not pausing my Patreon for August!

I have around €15k saved up during the past couple years (which is all thanks to you, so thanks from the bottom of my heart ;w; ♥), and while I'm hoping it'll be enough for everything, I'm still asking around and waiting for price quotes so I'm not really sure; plus, me and Jai still got to buy groceries, and pay electricity bills and rent until we move out, so if I can save up more, all the better! It'll certainly help my anxiety, ahah xD
Of course, I wouldn't leave my Patreon running without being sure to deliver the monthly rewards! The base of the month is already in the works, is adopt-oriented, and all of its 100+ extras are already sketched, so it's just a matter of being patient (I hate lining xD) and line everything ^^
I'll be gone for most August, as explained below, so the base will be released towards the end of the month, but it's coming! Thank you all for the patience ♥

So, for the last bigger update, yeah, I'll be gone for most August!
I'm going to see my family oversea, will stay at my grandma's house in my homebirth town from Aug. 13th until about the 25th (return date not set in stone). The town in question is a small coastal one, and internet has always been awful unless you have actual wifi (I always use my phone as hotspot to connect my laptop and...pages have a tendency to be stuck on the loading screen forever :,3), so that means I probably will NOT be able to check online stuff, be it to post, read and reply to messages, etc.
If I can I'll go visit my cousin's house since they do have wifi and see if I can occasionally check stuff there, but in case, be prepared to me not being online for potentially 2 weeks!

Even without internet I'll still work, on the aforementioned base and on whichever comms I don't require more refs and/or assets like textures for, maybe some personal and fanart stuff too, but keep in mind I'll also be relaxing lots and spend time with my family, so I won't work nearly as much as usual!

As for minor updates, I'm officially full vaccinated (first shot gave me some issues, second went more smoothly and I'm all good and feeling safer now xD), I've started taking anxiety meds but stopped like a week in (they made me extremely sleepy, slept 16h+ a day), and once I'll be all settled in the new apartment I'll finally get an actual wifi so that means more streams! <333
