Golden Ascension- Ship Girls c1

As the Heavy Cruiser gently turned around and landed in its dry dock spot, the anti-gravity devices locked it up in its place.

The ceiling closed up and the anti-gravity projectors on the ceiling turned off.

"Begin the resonance scan."

[Understood]

Beams of light started to bombard the ship. These resonance projectors can dissect a planet. So, a mere wrecked ship is child's play to scan to an atomic level.

It only lasted a few seconds before Marcus got his reading done.

He looked at them via his HUD.

'The ship is not in bad condition. But being underwater has fucked it up.'

Mentally he made the ship hologram spin around, he looked at it from different angles.

He floated next to it and activated his magic. It roared to life and, with a hand motion, the ship started to get disassembled into parts.

In just a few moments it was a pile of scrap. All the rusted water, fish, vegetation, sharks, everything flopped into the dry dock waters, including the remnants of the fuel and the oil.

'Heh…got some extras…those are coral sharks, they would be nice in an aquarium.'

He mentally decided to make himself an aquarium in his spare time, just out of fun… though it won't be as exotic as his previous aquarium from that aquatic world.

As he was thinking he used this other hand to make the water rise, the most polluted one with oil and diesel. A magic circle absorbed the water and from the other side grey clay came out.

Once he got enough, the clay floated to the ship parts and started to fuse.

All the rusted, missing, destroyed parts were restored, including any wood used in the ship making.

After finishing the restoration, Marcus raised his hands and the ship started to reassemble.

It lasted several minutes and from outsiders' perspective, it looked like the Alchemist had limitless magical reserves which is not wrong to think that way.

As the ship reassembly was over it was time to paint.

"Show me the Nazi colour palette, we are going for maximum authenticity."

[One moment, building up the image]

A few seconds later Marcus had a proper image of how Prinz Eugen looked at World War 2.

"I see. Let's do this their way."

With a few snaps of his fingers, the ship was painted dark grey and had some red markings on the hull. Followed by a Third Reich banner on the back.

With this, he has completed the restoration of the Heavy Cruiser.

With a small smile, he walked inside the ship and started to explore. Marcus made sure every single detail was how it was supposed to be.

Though he didn't fill up the tank or the oil of the ship.

He saw the ammo, and deck storage which was full of canon shells, AA guns ammo, and finally the torpedoes.

Then, the crew deck with bunk beds, the officer's deck, everything was in its place.

It was a beautiful ship.

"Though…what now?"

'I could upgrade it, already have ideas about what to do. But how will I use this?'

After feeling lost, the Alchemist left the ship, then with a hand motion, his magic captured all the fish in the drydocks.

He took all of them with him.

Once in the living room he quickly made an aquarium of considerable size before releasing the fish into it. To make it more authentic he went outside and got some corals and seagrass.

~~~
After not deciding what to do Marcus decided to continue his work and proceeded to design his Homunculi army.
For maximum efficiency, he decided to include resonance in their psyche.
This means they will have a hive mind and a cycle of reincarnation.
A platform and software. When the platform ceases to work the software will be downloaded back into the mainframe where it will receive a new platform. In other words a new body.
This way the platform will be adjusted for the new threats.
In Marcus' eyes, this is the most optimal form of adaptation. His Homunculi even when they become self-aware will be fearless as death doesn't truly exist for them.
One would say that such beings would eventually question their master and creator as they would start asking questions.
But that's if the amateur is the creator. Marcus would have not even considered this form of a soldier if he didn't know what he was doing.
All of his soldiers will have four layers of programming.
Starting at a soul level, they will have what is called Spiritual belonging.
At the biological level, an instinctual need to serve their creator, these soldiers will have this instinct engraved in their DNA.
At the memory level, there will be memories with answers to every single question which idiotic humans would come up with and ask in case some of these soldiers miraculously get captured and start to get questioned.
Which is rare… as he is planning to make them kill themselves the moment it happens. As they don't truly die.
And finally programming at personality level.
Even if he built them, the first two have the possibility of being breached, but the DNA and Soul one is impossible as they would cease to exist. Everything is built on servitude to its creator.
Marcus' paranoia doesn't have it any other way.
So first he started with the mainframe where the souls should be stored.
It would be based on the ritual of soul-making. He did test the soul alteration before. So he knows the basics. But storing and moving through wave frequency is something new to him.
He started with the formula of the soul. This was something he spent years figuring out when he was researching souls to alter his own.
Making a soul embryo is not hard if you know the formula but moving and interacting in a ritual circle is needed.
So he built a circle where he can work on them.
A computer like Databank inside a soul-altering circle. Once this was complete he then worked on means for them to move and return. This was where he needed to recognize every single different frequency emitted by the souls.
It took a while but he was able to come up with a technomancy after basing it from his Gravity wave caster. Wave technomancy is something he has several centuries of experience with.
With a background for souls done, it was time to program them and start working on homunculus chambers.
~~~~~~Few Weeks Later~~~~~~

The base no longer was run just by one man and M.A.I. As several homunculi were working in the laboratory gardens and taking care of cattle, like sheep, cows, and chickens. All are genetically engineered.

Marcus was memory surfing. He was trying to figure out what to do with the ship he rebuilt.

He thought of making it into an autonomous mech.

But then decided to do a memory dive and see if he could find something in the depths of his memories.

The choice was his early age when he spent time watching anime, playing games, and reading fictional novels.

Eventually, he ended up looking at something peculiar.

Ship girls… There was one anime where ships were built from some sort of nanites and they had human models, then there was a browser game where girls used to hold ship spirits.

And lastly… There was a mobile phone game with ship girls.

This made him think…

Having a ship girl would solve all his issues and he would have a powerful subordinate who could wield that thing like part of herself.

With the idea in mind, he opened his eyes and looked at the bent screen in front of him.

"Legion, open the Rebirth project. Time to work."

The M.A.I. opened the window for him. Marcus quickly started to add new things to this project. The ship will have a biological model which can seamlessly control the massive warship.

To move the ship effortlessly, the biological model will have storage space. Where the ship can be stored or partially summoned from space.

To make it more seamless, he will make dimensions where the ships can be upgraded, repaired, and restocked if need be.

Though space and dimension creation is not his forte he has some ideas on how it works.

He traveled long enough through space to know how it works.

"Let's start shall we? This is going to be an interesting project. Can't remember the last time I was this excited to do something!"

His idea is to make a tier 3 life form. A four-layered being who has a soul, proper DNA, memories, and a personality.

So he started with Soul embryo which he programmed personally and triple-checked. He had the face of the girl in mind.

This means he knew what he was wanting. With the image in mind, it was not hard to mould the soul.

Though the real challenge was the DNA.

He will be making her from scratch. Well, not quite as he used the resonance waves from the Ship Prinz Eugen. It's like a connection at a deeper level. Almost like Quantum Entanglement.

The girl will emit specific brain waves which the ship will pick up. To make this work even further he will be installing specific communication arrays in the ship.

So even from an absurd distance, she could control the ship with ease.

"Open the DNA blueprints I have."

With a simple sentence, Marcus was looking at several strands spinning in front of him. He picked a basic female one and started to rip it apart. Leaving a skeleton of a strand behind.

Without wasting time the Alchemist proceeds to build the DNA strand while the M.A.I. in the background is doing thousands if not millions of calculations to make sure his creator is not building a galaxy-ending threat by accident.

~~~
A few short weeks later, the Alchemist grinned from ear to ear as he looked at the perfectly spinning DNA strand.
"Begin the simulation."
[Starting…]
The DNA disappeared and in front of him formed a girl, who had a teasing and quite a sultry smile. She had white greyish hair with one strand of hair being red, she had yellow eyes. Quite a voluptuous body.
With a simple motion, she was standing in front of him at her true height.
"Prinz Eugen…two stages complete…now for the memories and personality."
For this Marcus synthesised basic knowledge, languages, cultural things, history, and other necessities before adding the homunculi package which he altered and expanded on. Finally, he worked on the resonance between the ship and the girl.
He needed to muffle a lot of traumatic things she would get because of the nukes, capture, and other things. As she will get 'THE' experience of the ship in the form of memories.
It is like untangling a rope and smoothing it out.
Eventually, he unloaded the memories into his personality. A started to work to get THAT Prinz Eugen, the one he envisioned from his memories.
"And done…do your maths."
[Running diagnostics…
Checking Soul integrity
Checking the strain of the DNA
Simulating Memories, and their connections
Personality mental check-up.]
[Sir, while everything looks in order I suggest running a few tests. In the meantime, the vessel needs to be upgraded.]
"Yes, start with your tests, I will start my work on the vessel."
After saying that Marcus left his seat and went to suit up.
Once he had his Sky Wolf equipped he went to the -3 floor where the dry docks were.
~~~

First, the superstructure of the ship needs to be upgraded. The whole thing was reinforced with Hyper compressed metal. The diesel engine was removed and instead, a perpetual motion engine was installed. It's an altered version of Triple Core Reactor.

A smaller version of it, where the fuel tank used to be, now had a mana pool.  All the cabins have been converted into Assembly lines that can generate missiles indefinitely.

The ship's cannons have been reworked to house Kyber crystals. So instead of regular canon shells they will use turbo lasers.

The weapons are still prototypes but he will have Prinz to test them out.

And finally, for the last part, he added the Gravitas Fluctus projector.

The front of the ship splits up and reveals the projector which shoots a powerful gravity wave.

With the perpetual motion engine, this could potentially tilt the planet causing catastrophic effects on the planet.

For now, the mech form is not there, since he needs to develop it.

Still, the Mark I of MGS-01 Prinz Eugen is done.

The hull is one smooth surface. According to the simulations, it is harder for things to hit such a hull. Not that any regular weapon can damage the super-compressed material this thing is built from.

[Sir, ETA 4 minutes]

"Oh? That's quick."

[It has been two weeks sir. I don't think I am proud of my slow speed.]

The M.A.I. Sounded disappointed with its processing time. By this point it's no longer the processor or the rams but how the M.A.I approach the subject.

"It's no worries. I took my time to install Gravitas Fluctus. Anyway, let's go and see Priz…"

~~~~~~???~~~~~~
It has been a long time. But she can finally meet her Admiral. She remembers how she came to be and how slowly piece by piece, slowly she became whole.
Now…she will enter the world where her beloved Admiral lives.
Slowly, she could feel her body, the power humming under her skin. It was magic, as a being who fights by her Admiral's side, power is something given to her so that she could protect herself and destroy anyone who stands in her beloved Admiral's way.
As time went on she could start moving her limbs, or she thinks she can do it. She knows from the knowledge she is given that she is in a liquid.
[ETA…3…2…1…]
At that moment she opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was a black-haired man standing with crossed arms. He was dressed in grey and white full-body armour.
His brown eyes were digging into her. It makes her feel a multitude of positive emotions.
'Finally! Admiral and his naughty tactics to keep me waiting!'
~~~

Marcus looked at the floating Prinz Eugen. He can sense her magic is slowly growing. Her reactor is brand new so it will take several hundred years to reach his levels. But that much energy is not even needed, unless one wants to throw planets at some unlucky buggers.

Regardless, the beauty opened her eyes and looked at him. There was a certain glint in her eyes. The liquid rapidly started to get removed and she ended up awkwardly standing on her legs. Her extremely long hair was touching the ground.

As the girl removed the breathing mask the chamber opened up for her.

"...Admiral…little help here?" She asked him with a shaky tone. As she was having difficulty walking, or just pretending…

He rolled his eyes at her and walked over. At that moment her hands wrapped around his hands and she smiled coyly at him.

"Got you now, my Admiral~"

"...Really?" Marcus asked with disbelief.

"What? Give me a Hug! Give me!" She asked like a small child.

"Later? As you can see I am in armour?"

She snorted and looked away. Then crossed her arms.

"Now come, you need clothes and a haircut."

"...Oh? Is my admiral going to dress me up?" She asked with a seductive look. The beauty was enjoying the body she has received, it was simply godly to seduce her admiral!

Prinz could see him looking at her. He indeed likes it. Though it should be obvious he made her, so he made her in the image he wants.

This is giving her those extra confidence points.

"Of course. You are mine, so you will dress how I want."

His words made her blush like a tomato!

So direct!

"...O-Of course!"

Though she didn't let go of him…

After walking a single flight of stairs they arrived at the living room. He handed over her uniform which looked like an army one it was dark grey and red, her colours.

The uniform had inscribed letters on the left-hand side. Saying B.S.M.

She knows what this means…

It means Biological Ship Model.

In the army, he is making, she will have an absurd amount of rights to use majority equipment, including the G.T.B.A

The Grand Technocracy's Biological Army…

It means she has endless canon fodder to throw at whatever she wants.

Her Admiral truly is the best for her!

After checking her clothes Prinz started dressing up. The size matches her perfectly, something she expected as the clothes were specifically prepared for her.

Once they were up she went over to check herself a holographic mirror which she called forth mentally.

Oh yes, she is subconsciously connected to the network. This allows her to use Legion easily as her Admiral does.

"Ready? Come over."

Her beloved admiral voice brought her back as she turned around. She saw him holding an array of scissors and a chair.

She smiled coyly at him. This was SO him, he easily cut her hair, or she could do it herself with her magical powers and over 300 years of mana manipulation. Easily fixable but… no.

He wants to do it manually.

"Of course I am ready. I am already making a fantastic memory with my darling Admiral." As she said that she walked over while swaying her hips.

"...You do know that I am the furthest person to be an Admiral." He said that while Priz sat down on the chair in front of him.

"On the contrary, you are the Admiral, you have the most powerful Warship in the world. You even made me into a living being. That makes you the closest thing to a God…"

"...So Admiral God?"

"... Let's stick with Admiral… it's easier this way."
