Dragon Ball: Goku Si c4

‘That old man has a dragon ball!’ Bulma stopped in her tracks when she saw that!

“Turtle said that you are the adopted Grandson of my pupil, Son Gohan. Is it true?" the old man holding his stick asked Goku, his other hand stroking his grey beard.

“Yes, he taught me the way of Turtle School…” The Saiyan boy continued, telling the way of Turtle.

“...Work hard, study well, and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way! You must master the Art of Peace in addition to the Art of War!” 

“Hohoho! Indeed! It sounds like what you are saying is true! Wonderful! You said your name is Son Goku?” The Turtle Hermit was happy to hear this.

“Yes, that is my name.”

“Fantastic. Tell me how my old student is doing.” 

The moment Roshi mentioned Son Gohan, the atmosphere turned sombre.

The Hermit immediately understood what happened.

“...I see…”

“Regardless, Goku. You have saved my wayward turtle. What do you want as a reward?” The old man changed the theme of the conversation.

“Can I have that pendant you have?” Goku pointed at the old man.

“This old thing? Sure.” Roshi removed the pendant and threw it at Goku.

“Thanks, Master Roshi.” The Saiyan caught it and swiftly inspected it.

“Hohoho, you can call me that after you join my school. What do you think?” The old man grinned. He wanted to train someone like this young and talented kid!

He can sense his Ki AND magic! This boy was special! That's for sure!

“I will, after I finish my adventure.” 

Roshi nodded. There was a small smile on the old man's face. The old martial artist was thinking that his life would finally get some excitement!

But then his smile turned lewd as he saw Bulma, who quickly realised that this old fossil was a perv.

The girl returned back to the capsule house.

“Quite a girl you have there, Goku.”

The Saiyan simply rolled his eyes and decided to ‘blow up the bubble’.

“She is a burglar.”

Doors slammed open, revealing pissed-off Bulma. The girl was obviously listening to the conversation.

“I already told you! I AM SORRY! Can we drop that already!?” the blue-haired girl exclaimed loudly.

Roshi saw the smirk on Goku’s face. The boy was messing with her.

‘It appears he has no issues with females; that is good… unlike my other students’

“Well, I live on an island in that direction,” the Turtle Hermit said, pointing in a direction.

“Don’t worry, I know how to sense Ki, Master Roshi. I will find you.” 

“Good. Then, until then, have fun exploring.” 

Just like that, the hermit turned around with his turtle and left.

“Hey! What about my reward!?”

Bulma pouted when she saw him leave like that.

“Pretty sure Turtle saw that you originally were against helping him.” Goku shrugged at her.

“...Ugh!!!” The girl groaned, but then he saw him holding the dragon ball.

He saw where she was looking at, so he lazily threw it at her.

“That makes it four, no?” 

“...Yes! Regardless, it was a good call!”

“Yes. So leave those kind of things to me.” He said with crossed arms.

“I will, I will, oh great Saiyan Conqueror!” The girl’s last two words are supposed to be a joke.

“Sorry, that’s my relatives. I am more of transcending boundaries of limits kind of guy.” 

She rolled her eyes at his response, her joke missing the point…

After meeting Roshi, the pair arrived at a village that had another dragon ball. The villagers would only give the dragon ball if Goku and Bulma could help them with a monster issue.

When Goku heard that, he recalled that it was where they met that piggy.

The Saiyan had no time for such small-time games, so he flew and found the piggy, Oolong, and the girls whom he had kidnapped.

The villagers feared the worst for their girls, but Oolong didn’t do anything; instead, he pampered them like queens.

“Honestly, I don’t know if I should be impressed or utterly dissapointed in you, Oolong,” Goku said with crossed arms as he looked at the manor where the girls were living like Queens.

The villagers followed Goku to the manor, and the boy easily pinned Oolong down with his Ki. 

“You only treat your wife as a Queen. At least marry one of them first before doing this.” 

“How do you even know such stuff? Weren’t you raised in the mountains?” Bulma looked suspicious, as she had been there the whole way.

“The Way of Peace is part of Turtle Hermit School. My grandfather told me all about what to do in times of Peace.” Goku rolled his eyes at her.

“...Oh…” 

“Oh, indeed.”

Regardless, the piggy gave back all the kidnapped girls, not that the girls wanted to return to the life of a countryside village.

Bulma was impressed by Oolong’s ability to shapeshift. She wanted to recruit the piggy, but Goku said that the piggy was a big pervert, which made Bulma change her mind midway.

After getting the fifth dragon ball, the pair moves towards their next destination.

It was the ‘Diablo Desert’...

“Look Puar! We have our next target!” A teen with long black hair and scars on his face looked through binoculars at a moving dust cloud.

“Let’s go!” The flying cat-like creature pumped his pawn.

The pair rushed to get into their speeder bike and rushed towards the moving SUV.

The pair swiftly approached and got in the front of the moving car, forcing them to stop.

“Stop right there! Give me all of your valuables!” The guy pulled out his sabre. Threatening the car.

But then a girl poked her head from the driver's seat.

“A-A-A girl!!? HIIIIIII!!!!” The guy squeaked with deep blush before running away…

“Hahaha, it appears your menacing gaze terrified the poor desert bandit!” Goku commented as he didn’t even bother moving.

Because he knows the guy was the gag character by the name Yamcha.

How can he not? Yamcha’s death pose is a thing of legend!

“What is that supposed to mean!?” Bulma huffed at Goku.

“Nothing. My guess is that the poor bandit has been living in the desert for so long that he developed a phobia of some sort towards females.”

The Saiyan shrugged as he once again leaned into his seat and placed his hands behind his head.

“...I see… that is a possibility.”

After that, Goku continued to track Yamcha and play around with the desert bandit.

The moment the desert bandit came closer to their capsule house, Goku would pretend to leave the house for something.

Constantly making the bandit weary of the boy.

By this point, the gag character realises that the kid is some sort of martial artist.

Bulma then mentioned some possible wishes for the dragon balls, which made the desert bandit interested in them instead.

Weardly or not… Yamcha, at this point, was similarly dumb as Bulma…

The guy wants the dragon to remove his phobia of girls…

Just like that, the desert bandit decided to follow these two until they had all of the seven dragon balls and then swoop in and tell his wish!

As the group left the desert, they arrived at an interesting place…

“Is that mountain on fire?” Bulma asked Goku as she saw the mountain burning. On the mountain, there is a castle.

They arrived at their next destination to get the sixth dragon ball.

“Well, by this point, I am not surprised by anything.” The girl mumbled to herself.

“Yep, you should not.” Goku walked forward towards the mountain full of flames.

“Don’t get any closer.” A very tall man with an axe got in between the burning castle and the boy.

“I am the Great Ox King, and this mountain is my land!”

The guy declared that Bulma got behind Goku, which was amusing in a sense since she was taller than Goku… by quite a bit.

“Goku, Dragon Ball is inside that castle,” the girl whispered to the Saiyan as she checked the radar one more time.

“I know.” The boy nodded as he seriously looked at the ox king and then the castle.

‘Well, there is a way to deal with this and get the hell out of here.’

Goku said to himself as he saw who was hiding behind Ox King’s leg.

It was a girl… a girl he wanted to stay as far away as possible.

That girl is Chichi… 

“How about this… Great Ox King.” Goku points at the castle.

“I will remove the flames from your castle, and in turn, you will give me one of these.” He then motioned for Bulma to give him one of the dragon balls. The girl swiftly understood what he meant and did just that, giving him one of the dragon balls.

Goku showed the Ox King the dragon ball.

“Oh, this thing.” 

The tall man pondered on this.

“Fine. But you need to remove fire and keep the castle safe.” the tall and burly man gave his conditions.

“Of course.” Goku nodded and gave the dragon ball back to the blue-haired girl.

“Now, make some distance.” 

Everyone listened to his request and took several steps back.

But this is where Goku grinned as his eyes turned red and he started to rapidly grow in size.

“Holy!”

“Eeepp!”

The girls squeaked, and the guys looked terrified, seeing the kid become a huge Ape.

They all took even more distance away from him. Others run away to hide in their homes.

“I do love birthday candles.” The ape chuckled as he took a couple of steps away and dropped on its ass before crossing his arms.

Bulma noticed a strange thing about this. The kid’s clothes expanded as well! 

‘Is that magic of some sort!? That is so cool!’ She noticed that! Then she recalled that after travelling with him for several weeks, his clothes never got dirty or damaged!

As the girl was pondering this couple hundreds of metres away, Yamcha, with his flying cat, looked dumbly at the massive Great Ape sitting on the ground with crossed arms.

“What the hell is that? How can that kid become something like this?” The Desert Bandit was terrified! For a second, he wanted to run away, but then he realised that he only needed to jump at the very last second and then ask for his wish.

He is confident in his running away art! That much he is certain!

But then the monkey moved his hand and snapped his fingers, and the flames from the castle were blown away!

“...”

“...”

“...Whoa!!!”

Everyone looked surprised. By the time they looked where the monkey should have been, it was no longer there. Instead, the boy, with his hands behind his back, walked to the Ox King.

“I did my part of the deal, Ox King.” 

“Hohoho! You did well! As promised, you can have that orb!”

Goku nodded, but then he sensed the girl gazing at him with a heated look.

‘Oh crap!!!’

He swiftly grabbed Bulma and flew to the castle, ignoring Chichi and the Ox King, who was about to offer something he had no desire for! The boy swiftly flew to the main keep. It took several moments for the blue-haired girl in Goku’s hands to realise what was going on!

“W-What is the deal!?”

The girl complained! So now he wants to fly!?

“That girl! She gives me strange vibes! I don’t want to be chained with her!” Goku, with a panicked tone, said to her as they walked into the castle.

“Ha! So a mighty Saiyan warrior is afraid of marriage and a little girl?” the blue-haired girl teased him.

“No, I am just weary of the strange ones.” 

This time, Goku looked defensive as he looked away. Bulma has no idea how annoying that girl is.

Such an ‘Anti-Martial arts’ girl is annoying in such a martial arts universe.

After looking through the burned stuff, they found the dragon ball.

And swiftly left the castle and the area. 

ChiChi tried to approach them, but Goku swiftly flew away with Bulma.

Of course, the Desert Bandit chased right after them…

One could say that Goku has defied his own destiny.

Such a thing will adjust and will throw something at him to make certain things happen either way. One can’t run from certain things…
