Dragon Ball: Goku Si c9

‘It's like he is collecting dust from the air. Just how long did he train to reach such high control over his Ki?’ 


Aeos already understood how Goku can use magic without having a proper affinity for it.


He is piggyback magic with his Ki. He did that until he learned to sense magic.


But the hurdle for this…


‘Did he learn to wield Ki as a toddler?’ the Supreme Kai of Time joked to herself until she realised that it was an actual possibility…


One will never know with these Saiyans…


“Even if we gather magic from the air, the seal is far too powerful to make a difference.” She sighed loudly, as the amount they gathered was quite small compared to what held her down.


“You are far too focused on the weight of the seal. Have you realised that what is holding you down is magic? It's not a Ki-based seal.


Magic is far more flexible. For example, do you sense what the seal does?”


Goku didn’t even sound distressed while saying that.


“Of course… this seal took all of my magic and is draining my life force.” 


“Indeed. But it doesn’t have anything else. It doesn’t have any self-preservatives or defences.


It's a lump of magic pressing on you,” he explained to her as he channelled positive Ki energy and shaped more needles, which soon rushed into the magic seal.


“...”


Aeos sensed all of it.


“How can you tell all that?” 


“It's the taste of magic. Everyone has those.”


One of her eyebrows went up as she wondered how much time he had spent developing an ability like that.


Even she doesn’t have such a thing. But then again, she always had large reserves of magic and Ki, there was never a need to develop what he has…


After a while, she regained around 1.5% of her Ki…


They did spend quite a bit of time on this, but it will take her ages to return to where she was before the incident.


“Phew! I am tired. Anyway, I think we should call it a day.” Goku lowered his hand from Aeos' back as he sighed in a tired voice. 


“...Very well.” The Supreme Kai of Time nodded as she closed her eyes.


“Anyway, I will take the couch, and you can keep the bed.” He said that while walking to the capsule house and waving his hand.


The blue-haired Kai sensed how he entered the house. Once he had done that, she opened her eyes and looked at her hands.


“This method might work. It's a very unorthodox method, but it does work,” Aeos said to herself as she inspected her reserves. Since she is no longer dying, she is regaining her Ki little by little.


But it will take years by this point to get back to her peak.


“Well… for now, I should lay low and not reveal myself; who knows if that freak is watching me?” she mumbled to herself as she stood up and walked to the house.


The moment she entered, her eyes ended up on Goku, who was already asleep.


One of her eyebrows went up as she saw that he was sleeping as Super Saiyan.


‘Isn’t it supposed to be a temporary transformation?’


The Kai pondered at what she was seeing. As someone who employed Goku’s father and Goku’s son as her fighters, she has seen plenty of times how they would transform and then dismiss the transformation. But nothing like what she was seeing before her.

As Goku woke up the next morning, he looked around as he sensed someone in his house. For a second, he wondered who, but then he realised that his life just went from Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball Heroes real quick.


‘Oh well. Well, it appears she is trying to copy my method.’


The Super Saiyan scratched the back of his hair as he walked to get a shower. What he saw was Aeos sitting on his bed, most likely meditating the whole night.


Ten minutes later, Goku was out of the bathroom and walked outside to prepare some food.


Around thirty minutes later, the Supreme Kai was out of the house, but she looked quite annoyed.


“Didn’t work?”


He asked her as he sensed annoyance in her Ki.


“No. it did not. I tried several methods. How do you even differentiate air from magic? You made your Ki gather the smallest of magic particles! It's like collecting sand piece by piece!” 


The blue-haired Kai sounded like a little girl who was failing in a video game and now ranting to him how it doesn’t work…


After her rant, he suggested, “Well, then piggyback magic from a magic object and use it as a reference.”


She swiftly lost her annoyed look.


“...That could work.”


“It will because that's how I learned to sense.” Goku went over and picked up a rock, using outside magic as a power source. He moulded it into a pendant.


“Here.”


He walked over to her and gave it to her.


“...My thanks.”


She inspected the pendant. It was a simple pendant which looked like a dragon ball with four stars.


The blue-haired Kai placed the pendant on her neck, and the next second, she sensed an increase in her sensory range and depth.


“...Not bad. This will help me.”

“Good, I will make breakfast soon, so don’t get too busy with your training.” He said to her after turning around and walking to the campfire where he was already cooking a boar.


“I won’t.” She smiled slightly while returning to the house and proceeding to train again.


When she went inside, Goku slightly grimaced.


‘I shouldn’t get all buddy-buddy with her, considering she doesn’t mind killing billions for the sake of balance.’


The Super Saiyan thought to himself as he was having a hard time dealing with his strange emotions. There's no doubt his previous life is playing a part in this. He still recalls Aeos' adult form from the anime. It reminds him of those Cold Goddesses, which he used to call his ‘waifus’.


But that was when all of it was just a drawing on a PC screen… Yeah…


It's different here.

Around twenty minutes later, Blue-haired Kai left the house, and this time around, there was a small smile. It meant that she was successful with the method.


“Right on time.”


“I know. I am quite good with time.” She smiled slightly while saying that.


“That’s a good skill to have.” He smiled back as he handed her a plate full of exquisitely prepared meat and vegetables.


Aeos hummed when she tasted the boar meat. It was tender and roasted to perfection.


As she pondered the taste, she remembered that Goku was supposed to be barely capable when it came to cooking, and he never went beyond basic frying methods. As soon as he grew up, he married that human woman.


“What are you going to do after eating?” She asked him after pondering about another difference in timelines she knows.


“Climb that Tower.” He pointed at Korin’s tower.


“It's the next stage in my training. I desire to reach the peak.”


She raised her eyebrow at him again. It was quite a common thing by this point to raise her eyebrow at him, and she had only known this Goku for a day at most.


‘Well, the Son Goku I know simply wants to be ‘strongest’, but this one wants to reach peak…


Those two things might sound the same, but they mean different things.’


Aeos pondered on the meaning before asking him something.


“With your Super Saiyan strength, you should be able to fly to the tower easily or jump to the top.”


“True. But I do not care about raw power at this moment. Master Korin is a cat hermit who uses his own training methods. My Saiyan physiology makes me stronger than normal beings, but it's the flexibility of the masters of these lands that allowed me to reach where I am now.”


“...I see…” She looked at the tower in the distance for a bit. She did want to land in Lookout and ask Kami to help her, but her Timeline Travel was off-target, and she ended up in the forest with her measly reserves. No one even noticed her land…


Aeos' travelling to a recently diverted timeline is a way for her to hide from Demigra. Not many beings should know about this strange place.


“Anyway, it's time for me to go.”


“Hmm, before you go. We are not even. You saved my life and taught me how to recover my powers. I do need to pay you back in some way.” For a second, she wondered if she should summon some sort of Master for him to study under or get a fully charged set of Dragon Balls… or something! Otherwise, she will feel like someone is weighing her down.


“It's not like I will reach the peak of the tower on the first try. The whole climbing is training on its own.” He patted his chest before explaining some more.


“Besides, I don’t have many things that I would need.” He shrugged before casually mentioning something which made him pale the next second! His tongue slipped!


“Well, Fiance is one of those I don’t have. I don’t think you would accept such— a role…” He said that before, he needed to dodge a yellow ball of Ki energy from Aeos.


“...You should—”


The blue-haired Kai stopped in her tracks as she was about to say: ‘Hold your tongue’, but then she recalled something important.


She is no longer restrained by her position. In a way, she always acted like she was the Supreme Kai of Time, but that position has not been hers for a very long time.


“A-Are you okay? Honestly, forget what I said.” Goku waved his hands as if he was surrendering.


“No… It's fine. I wanted to say that I had a position that didn’t allow me to marry, but I forgot that I had left it behind.” She shrugged before smirking at him.


“How about this… Goku. I will accept it if you beat me in a spar.” The blue-haired Kai spreads her hands in a similar fashion as a certain antagonist does.


“...Are you serious?” 


The one who was the most dumbfounded was Goku!


This girl is a Kai! A Deity! Not just any Deity but a Deity of Time! 


Obviously, the only reason Aeos is considering this is not that she just feels that she owns him but that his potential is absurd. He is a mortal who breached the divine barrier in every single timeline where he didn’t die from the heart virus.


In addition, she wants to see if her children with this specific Goku will be exceptional. As someone who likes gathering talent, it's a must. 


“Of course. That is if you can impress me, Goku.~” Her tone slightly changed, and it made Goku slightly twitch. It reminded him of Witches, Demonesses, and Seductresses.


“F-Fine. But you know that it was just a stray thought!”


“Hahaha! Even if it was a stray thought, you were thinking about me in such a way!~” She winked at him before getting serious.


**Resigned Sigh**


It appears he was running away from a mama bear, but he ended up on literal Deity…


“Alright, let’s go; there was a clearing in that direction a few miles away.” Goku ignited his aura and flew away. Aeos followed after him. Her aura was blue and flamy with particles, which tells him that she is a DEITY even with the 1% she has!


As they landed, the Supreme Kai of Time looked at Goku, who got extremely serious.


‘Fufufu… even if it was straight thought, Goku, you are pretty serious about fighting me~.’


“Goku, don’t disappoint me, or is this a fight for the sake of a fight?” She asked him as she realised that he was Saiyan, so he would look for any and all reason to fight… which made her feel slightly disappointed.


When Goku heard that, he lost his serious face for a second.


“Not at all. This is a lifetime opportunity. I know that you are special, like very special, So I will give my all!”


As Goku said that, he crossed his arms, his golden aura ignited, and his Ki started to climb up.


Aeos looked pleased to hear that. She was impressed by how much Ki he had at this point in his life.


“Are you not afraid of the luggage that comes with me? You sensed that seal; it's just one of the enemies I have.” She ignited her aura as well, and she stopped holding back on whatever she had.


But even then, she is much stronger than Goku.


“Amusing. You are telling a Saiyan about possible future battles. I thought you knew my kind and what kind of baggage we come with.” He showed her a confident smirk.


“...FUFUFU… true…”
