Gundam Seed: Kira Reloaded c31
Added 2024-09-02 18:24:37 +0000 UTC~~~~~~At Start of Battle for Orb~~~~~~
A family of four was rushing towards the harbour, where a ship would take them to ZAFT-controlled territory. These were coordinators who were afraid of Earth Alliance if they were victorious.
However, at that moment, they stopped as they saw a barrage of missiles flying into the direction of the harbour.
“If that hits, those ships will be gone!” The man exclaimed with horror.
But at that moment, a blueish-purple beam erased all of the missile.
“W-What…”
A single machine rose to face the overwhelming odds.
To them, it looked like a single mobile suit versus the entire invasion fleet!
‘Is that even possible?’ The teen boy of the family exclaimed to himself as he watched how this single machine faced the invaders.
“Shinn! Let’s go!”
“R-Right…” the teen snapped out as he nodded. The four continued to the harbour, where they boarded the ship.
By that point, most of the fighting had ended, as the mobile suit had sunk most of the warships, and the rest were retreating.
Shinn watched most of the fighting, amazed at what these specific-looking mobile suits could perform. With such power, they can bring peace, right?
~~~~~~PLANT Supreme Council~~~~~~
“With the failed invasion of Orb, the majority of the Earth Alliance army has been crushed. They have no power to sustain the frontlines. We already have reports that they are giving up land to us so that they can regroup.”
“I suggest we sue for peace. They have no Mass Drives. We can claim space for ourselves while they can live on the planet's surface—”
“There will be no peace!” Patrick Zala interrupted the conversation.
“As long as Naturals exist, there won’t be peace.” The Supreme Chairman said, an angry gaze.
“...But we need naturals!”
Coordinators need naturals, as after the second generation of coordinators, the probability of birthing third-generation coordinators is extremely difficult because of genetic alterations. That means that second-generation coordinators should marry a natural to have a chance to have a child.
“Our scientists are working tirelessly to find a solution; it's only a matter of time until we have a breakthrough,” Patrick said as he massaged his forehead.
“In the meantime, we will use… Genesis to erase Naturals.” He revealed to everyone a massive dish-like weapon.
The PLANT council members looked dumbfounded by what they saw! It was a super weapon!
“We will use the nuclear power they are so proud of to erase those monsters,” Patrick said with a smirk, feeling vengeful.
‘Patrick has lost it, damn him!’ Siegel Clyne thought to himself. The meeting was cut short as the council members had to leave after hearing what the Supreme Chairman was doing.
‘We can’t wait anymore, it's time to act!’
~~~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~~
[Welcome to Aprilius One. Present your ID at border control]
A brown-haired teen removed his sunglasses and presented his ID at the spaceport gate.
The automated border control machine scanned his face and the ID.
[Welcome, Alex Dino, to PLANTs. Have a nice stay.]
“Thanks.”
He put his sunglasses back on as he passed the control, where he saw a bunch of ZAFT soldiers guarding the borders.
As he left the spaceport, he took the lift to the city.
His gaze went down as he saw the colony from the descending lift.
“Not bad, but one can’t surpass the beauty of the Equatorial paradise of Orb.” The brown-haired teen mumbled to himself.
He might be a coordinator, but his previous life still plays a huge part. He always wanted to live in a tropical paradise like Orb.
Especially now, when 2 out 3 plans have succeeded.
Now, the only people he needs to pacify are ZAFT and Patrick Zala to bring peace to Earth’s Sphere.
As the lift arrived, he left it and walked out of the building. His eyes went to the car rental.
A smirk appeared on his lips. He walked over there and found a white, sport-looking car.
He went over to the console and rented it out. The automated kiosk gave him a card.
The teen walked to the car, which scanned the card. The doors opened, and once inside, he turned on the electric engine and drove away.
As he was rushing through the streets, his eyes perked up as he saw a flower shop.
“We do need those~”
He swiftly stopped there and got some pink roses before returning to his driving.
The car left the city and went into more nature-filled suburban areas.
Not long after that, he arrived at quite a fancy estate.
Once he parked the car, he got out, took the flowers, walked to the front doors, and rang the bell.
A few moments later, a pink-haired girl opened the doors. Her eyes bulged out when she saw who came to see her!
“K-Kira!?” She grabbed his hand and pulled him into her house. Then she looked around to make sure no one was there to spy on them!
The girl swiftly closed the door and turned to face him.
Before she could complain, he pulled her into a tight hug.
“...”
“...”
The girl ended up hugging him back as she closed her eyes. The pair started to ‘recharge’.
After a couple of moments, he pulled back a little bit and finally spoke.
“I missed you, my princess~”
She giggled for a second before replying.
“I missed you too, but what are you doing here!?” She slightly hissed at him.
Him being in PLANTs!? There are tens of thousands of people who want him dead!
“To see you, of course. You are planning your coup. No?” He winked at her.
She looked shocked for a second.
“You follow what I am doing? Can your tech even reach PLANTs?”
Sure, she is using Legion to assist her in information gathering and all that stuff, but she asked before if they could reach Earth, but without specific boosters, they can’t…
“Nope, I simply knew Patrick Zala, what he would do, and how you would counter his actions.” He poked hee cheek while saying that.
“...I see… then this is perfect~”
Lacus's eyes gleamed for a second as she finally got the last piece needed to start a rebellion!
“You have a role for me? My Songtress?” He asked her as he got closer to her face.
“...Princess, Songtress? You need to pick one~” She leaned forward as well.
“I like them both.” As he said that, the pair proceeded to kiss.
The kiss lasted for a couple moments before the pair pulled back.
“To answer your question, I have a role for you.” She said with a growing smirk.
“Good, tell me, and I shall do it~.”
~~~
It appears Kira had no time to chit-chat with his lovely girlfriend, as just a couple of short hours later, her father returned with a bunch of men in black suits.
“Lacus, you said you have a pilot,” Siegel asked her.
“Yes. Kira will pilot it.” The girl motioned at the teen standing next to her.
“...Kira? As in Kira Yamato!?” Siegel and the bodyguards looked at the teen in disbelief. This was ZAFT's boogeyman!
“If you want me to pilot a mobile suit, I will gladly do that for you.” Kira took a step forward.
Siegel sighed as he realised that they needed to improve the security of their colonies further. If someone like Kira could slip in without worries, he could only imagine what more antagonistic people could do.
“I would like to know how you slipped in, but that's for later. For now, we have things to do.”
Kira, we will give you a prototype mobile suit. The moment it's in your hands, my political faction will be in trouble.
It will be a declaration of rebellion.”
“I know. Not my first ride with prototype mobile suits.” Kira reminded him that he has experience.
“Right, after that, we will rendezvous at this location.” Siegel handed over a memory stick.
“You can check the details in the memory stick.”
“Very well.”
“Then I guess we get you a uniform~” Lacus clapped her hands in an excited tone.
“Please tell me it's a blue one?” Kira almost begged her.
“Nope. You will have to deal with a red one~.”
Groan
“Fine, since you will give it to me, I need to get over it.” He complained but agreed either way.
She grabbed his hand and proceeded to pull him into the depths of the estate.
“...I didn’t expect to meet my future son-in-law like this.” The man sighed as he massaged his forehead. However, he is surprised that Kira got into PLANTs at such a crucial time.
~~~
Kira looked at the red uniform he was wearing. Lacus was making sure his collars looked great.
“There. You are all set to be part of ZAFT’s red coats.” Lacus patted his shoulders as she looked at him from different angles.
“Yeah, not bad. But I would prefer the white uniform if I do say so.”
Lacus rolled her eyes when she heard his complain.
“Next time. For now, just play along.”
“Sure.”
Once dressed, they left the estate and moved towards the lifts, which would take them to the hangars.
With Lacus and other green uniform-wearing people, they easily passed the security. Kira even saluted when they passed the other officers.
Eventually, a pair of engineers opened the doors and let them into a hangar.
Kira’s eyes widened to a huge degree when he saw IT!
“ZGMF-X10A Freedom. It’s ZAFT’s answer to you, Kira.” Lacus said as she floated to him.
“...This is a Gundam, Lacus. Are you proposing this to me?” He asked her as he gazed at the machine and then at her. He could feel his heart beat get faster.
When Lacus heard that, a bunch of things went through her head before she leaned forward and whispered to him.
“It would, but do you want to raise a family in a place with so much war? Hmm?” She whispered to him.
“...True, since this is the case, all I need to do is end the conflict.” He wrapped his hands around her. One could say he was MOTIVATED.
“...Yes, then we can start making arrangements for that wedding.” Lacus agreed as she kissed him on the lips one more time before she let go of him.
“I need to go, Kira. I can’t stay here for a long time. You must take this machine and use it to end the conflict, okay?”
She floated back towards the doors.
“No worries, Lacus, I will help you in any way I can.” Kira nodded at her before looking at Freedom.
“It appears Destiny binds us, one way or another. I suppose we shall bring Justice to this world through Freedom.” The teen tried to come up with words to bind the famous mobile suit names before shaking his head. He should leave rhyming to Lacus.
He kicked off, floated to the cockpit, and entered inside. The hatch sealed itself after he got inside.
Kira then pulled out a black memory stick placed in the slot and pressed the power button.
The monitors started to power up while he started to inspect the specs of the machine.
“Not bad, sadly. My Strike has better output and packs a greater punch. But, Freedom has longevity.” The Ultimate Coordinator compared specs before asking his AI.
“How is the hardware, Legion?”
[I can work with this, sir; however, I will request an upgrade once we return to base.]
“Sure, now load my preferences.”
[Already on it, sir.]
Kira can see a pile of upgrades loading up as he presses the Phase Shift armour button and activates the engines. Once all set, he pushed the button, and the cables disconnected.
He smirked as he pressed the accelerator pedal, and the machine blasted up and left the R&D department.
Internally, he was humming the Meteor soundtrack as he finally got the machine ‘required’ to hum such a soundtrack.
