Guilty Crown: ROB's Wheel c76

After taking care of the last GHQ anti-body, Alex was about to cut open the Semi-trunk carrying the prize, but the sounds of a robot-like machine got his attention.

He looked in the distance and saw several mech-like things moving towards him.

“So those are Endlaves?” Julis looked interested, considering that in her world, which is more advanced than this, they don’t have such things. But that’s most likely because of the superpowers they developed along the way, and big machines are not needed.

“Yeah…”

“We will take care of it. You take that thing you want so much.” Julis motioned for him to take the genome as she summoned a flaming rapier made from white flames.

“...Sure…”

He lifted his hand, and a huge sword appeared. He grabbed it and started to rip the Semi-trunk apart, using it like a can opener.

Once the back doors were open, he walked into the storage compartment of the semi-trunk and saw a literal strand of DNA in a glass, see-through container.

‘That’s a big DNA strand.’

The dragon in his head commented. Alex nodded at it. He was feeling the same way. The host of Vanishing Dragon walked over and grabbed it. The next second, he squeezed the container, and the glass shattered. The DNA strand glowed and started to merge with Alex’s hand.

At that moment, the air around him surged as the winds ripped apart the semi-trunk. A pillar of light surged from him and blasted the cloudy weather apart, creating a pink-and-white glow.

The fight which was happening between Funeral Parlour and GHQ Endlaves stopped as everyone looked at the light show.

“He used it,” Gai said with a sigh. Now, he wonders if he will get the power of the kings. Alex has no connection to the virus. Will the power resist? This whole episode could be a total waste or victory for Funeral Parlour.

When Alex opened his eyes, he saw a red realm made from crystalline glass. He could see Earth below his feet.

‘...What is this place?’

He thought to himself.

“You are not supposed to be here.”

A female voice said from in front of him. Alex’s eyes perked up as he saw Inori look-alike dressed in a white and red dress. The girl looked cute if not for her crystalline crown and those rhombus pupils in her eyes. 

He knew that he was facing Mana. Whatever realm he was in, it only happened because his potent all-around powers lifted him into the supernatural place where the girl was.

“I get that a lot. You must be, Mana.” Alex shrugged his shoulders as he replied.

“You are not Shu; I will kill you.” The girl made a crystal sword and dashed towards him at a supernatural speed.

“Whoa… hold it there!” The Host of Vanishing Dragon sidestepped as the girl missed her swing. She then tried to kick him, but he grabbed her leg and pushed her back.

The White Dragon Emperor quickly realised that she was bad at the whole fighting thing.

The girl tried to cut him several more times, that was until Alex struck her in the solar plexus, and she wheezed hard and collapsed on her knees.

**Cough**

“You know, I have no idea why you like that wimp that much. I thought girls were against arranged marriages stuff.

“How can an alien like you understand what it means to have a chosen one!?”

“Calm your horses, for an alien, you sure talk rubbish.” 

He motioned with his hands, and two swords appeared in his hands.

“...Hmm?”

At that moment, Alex realised something crucial: he didn’t have his regular holy thunder swords but crystal ones. 

“...Hohoho…”

He played some more, and sure enough, he could control crystals!

Mana looked quite horrified as she realised something scary even in her current power-consumed state.

“You are not needed anymore.” As he said that, countless crystal swords manifested around him, pointing towards her and rushing at neck-breaking speeds.

“N-No! H-Hold it!” The girl panicked as she realised that she lost control of the realm.

The swords stabbed her from countless directions, and soon enough, she became a pincushion made from crystal swords.

Alex slowly walked over to her and created a large sword, grabbing it with his right hand as he made the crystal swords disappear and reveal a mutilated Mana.

“You are nothing more than a fleeting thought of a little girl who died years ago. I shall put you to your rest.” Without wasting any more time, he swung his blade and destroyed what was left of Mana.

The girl turned into a crystal before shattering into millions of pieces. After she was gone, there was a surge of energy. Alex felt a burst of power rising from within him. 

His eyes widened slightly as he felt something was going on. The virus he got from the Power of Kings is more refined, and it gives him control over the virus itself. However, this was intended for a regular human, not a hybrid like him, so it begs the question: What will happen to him now that he has this power?

Everyone looked with bated breath as they saw the sky turn bright pink. It was as if something huge was about to happen. The virus that plagued Japan was not a simple one; it came from a meteorite and was not fully understood yet.

So what would happen when an alien lifeform with supernatural powers takes hold of it?

As the pink sky darkened, it eventually settled down and returned to the regular night sky, but what kept everyone gazing at it was some sort of cocoon slowly descending to the ground.

‘No, this should not be happening. The Power of the King allows one to extract and control the void inside people. This makes no sense.’

Gai gazed at the cocoon with concerned eyes. Whatever happened to Alex had made the virus go on a rampage.

Then, the moment the cocoon landed, it shattered, revealing Alex, who didn’t look that different, but if one paid close attention to him, he looked different, supernaturally so.

His hair was still black, but there was a white and purple shade to it, and his skin was whiter or paler. But when he opened his eyes, people knew that he was no longer human or even a Dragon-human hybrid, as his eyes were crimson red with rhombus pupils. These eyes were identical to Inori’s when she channelled her crystals.

However, if one paid attention to those rhombus-shaped pupils, there were draconic slits. This was no longer a human or a dragon but a completely different creature altogether. A virus type of dragon? 

“...Alex?”

Julis, who was burning an endlave, looked at her boyfriend with some concern.

Instead of saying anything, he took a step and appeared in front of Endlave. Baffling the observers with his absurd speed, he placed his hand on the mech without wasting a moment, and the machine started to morph and turn into a large purple crystal.

With a single burst, the whole thing turned into purple-white dust afterwards!

Once that was done, Alex looked at his girlfriend, who was staring at all of this with a perplexed expression.

“...what is—”

“Mine.”

His voice was deep, almost beast-like, as he grabbed her by her waist and pulled her closer.

“You are mine.”

Before she could comment, his lips ended up on hers as he started a hot makeout session, but at that moment, Julis realised that something was off as she felt something weird flowing into her, and it was not his saliva!

‘T-The virus!!!’

The girl tried to resist by smacking his chest with her fists, but it was useless. Her consciousness darkened before she woke up in a strange place. It was like space, but reality was made from some crystals, and beneath them was Earth…

“...Where is this?”

“A separate dimension, darling, I have taken over the virus and made it my own. Becoming a being known as Adom, and you, my dear, are my Eve.” 

Alex said to her as he was standing a few metres away from her.

Julis crossed her arms and looked at him.

“You are naughty. I said I don’t like that idea.” 

“It's far better than being a devil. Besides, you won’t truly die now of old age or by a fatal wound outside the dungeon. As long as there is a piece of the virus, you will be able to rebuild yourself.” He explained to her as he paced back and forth.

The girl sighed as she realised that there was no point in arguing with him as he had already decided on this path, or more accurately, the virus had shown him the way.

“...And Mana?”

“She is truly dead. Before this, she was the will of the virus. I took it over and made it mine.”

He took a step forward and gently grabbed her chin.

“Now, I am going to make you mine~”

“As if it was differently before.” The Pink Princess snorted in an amused tone.

“Ha, you will understand what I mean, dearest.” As he said, a purple aura surged from him and into her through the kiss they shared.

Julis' eyes, which were blue, turned red, and her pupils changed into rhombus-shaped, just like his. The girl was fully turned into the ‘new species’.

“This is bad!” One of the Funeral Parlour members exclaimed as he was feeling primal fear for his life.

“She changed too,” Gai said with a curious and concerned gaze as he saw how the pink-haired girl’s skin turned paler and her long hair got shades of white. Crystalline particles fell from her hair, making her look like some sort of celestial being.

Julis, who was still being kissed, slightly pulled her head, and a soft moan escaped from her lips. The girl opened her eyes; they were red, and her pupils were shaped like rhombus. The rebels felt like running away now.

“Fufufu, the expression on your faces.” Her voice was more unnatural and melodic; it felt dangerous.

“Don’t worry, we won’t hurt you. Our resentment is on other… humans.” She said while Alex took her hand and gently kissed its top.

“I have something for you, " he said with a playful voice as the DNA sequence symbol appeared on her right hand.

“Oh… this is…”

The girl realised what this was.

“My thanks, darling~ now I will have some fun~” The girl grinned. Her grin was predatory as she felt like letting loose.

Her prey was GHQ troops a distance away.

With a supernatural speed, she left a trail of white and pink particles as she kicked off from an invisible glass platform.

With the Pink Princess gone, Alex looked at Inori, who was staring at all of this with disbelief and… desire.

She instinctually knew who Alex was, but at this time, her body, which was created to house Mana, knew even better.

So the moment he appeared in front of her, the Virus Progenitor grabbed her by her waist and pulled her closer.

“Do you want to join me? Inori?” He asked her as he brought his face closer to hers.

“...Yes. This is something I always wanted.” She said with a strangely excited tone. Her eyes had already morphed into her ‘natural state’. Her hair slightly got wilder as she waited for that ‘branding’.

“Very well.”

Not waiting anymore, he pulled her for a kiss. The girl closed her eyes as she enjoyed her first kiss. Before long, Alex invaded Inori’s mouth and started to battle her tongue.

The pinkette trembled as she started to feel the heat rushing into her being. For her, it was more than just a kiss. As a ‘hollow’ being, she is finally being ‘filled’ up, and now she feels like she has a place to belong to someone.

Once the kiss had ended, the girl showed a smile similar to a silly grin. Yes, it appears she finally understands it all.
