Guilty Crown: ROB's Wheel c77

‘What the hell just happened?’ Albion rang in Alex’s head.

‘My place just got upgraded. I quite like the crystal decor you placed here.’ The dragon commented on the upgrades in his ‘house’.

‘I will ignore the second part and answer the first one.’ The Progenitor of Apocalypse Virus’ eye rolled when he heard the comment. How is he supposed to understand the bond of Sacred Gear, the wielder?

‘Fine by me.’

‘Right, so upon merging, I suppose, it happened as you said, my body had no affinity for the Power of the Kings, so upon merging, my body went boom.’

‘...Damn…’

‘But because my consciousness went to the realm where Mana is, I wrestled control of the virus from her and created a new body, and my old one became small crystals everywhere.

You could say I simply remoulded myself in any way I wanted.’

‘...so YOU are the VIRUS itself now?’ The dragon understood some of the virus' abilities, but this was absurd. To his understanding, Alex is more like a silicon-based lifeform than an organic being. But at the same time, he is still a dragon, so he is more like a silicon/energy lifeform that is imitating a biological being.

Honestly, this stuff is so weird that he has no idea how to categorise him.

‘I should be grateful to the dragon heart as it's the only thing that remained from all of this, and it allowed me to rebuild into a dragon species.

I suppose I should call myself Apocalypse Dragon.’

‘No, wait, because he has an energy-turned-biological dragon heart, does he have biological blood flowing through his silicon organs? Or something…’

‘Right, since you are ignoring me, I will continue to cuddle Inori.’

Alex realised his partner had ignored him, so he snuggled with his other darling.

Inori, who became part of the ‘new species’, didn’t care about her surroundings anymore; since Alex hugged her, she is playing it along and hugging him back. The thing was, she was quite careless before, and now she doesn’t care about stuff at all. Well, her care radius is very small.

Such a lack of personality makes her insanely dangerous. She could go on a murderous spree and not even blink her eyes. That is why Alex named her his Death Angel; she is dangerous when on the loose.

“Shall WE?” Alex suggested to her as he gazed at more GHQ targets. He is considering ending them all together in a single night.

“If you want. I will help you destroy them.”  She softly agreed to any of his suggestions.

“That's good. Then we can practise our powers of them.” He said, gently making her walk. The pair started to walk towards the centre of Tokyo.

“S-Shouldn’t we try to stop them? They are hot points of the Apocalypse virus!” One of the Funeral Parlour members said with a sweaty forehead.

“And die on the spot? Are you insane? You saw what that alien kid can do!” The other one replied with a terrified expression.

“As they said, they are not here to cause problems for us but for GHQ,” Gai said with a serious look.

“And you just trust them. What do the living embodiments of the virus tell you?” The guy questioned the choices of his commander.

“Do you have a better choice? If you are that confident, then why don’t you attack them?” The blonde leader of Funeral Parlour suggested.

“I am fine, thanks for asking. I think I will watch this from a distance.”

“Same,”

“Me too,”

“Yeah.”

The rest of them agreed with him.

“Then good enough, we will intervene if they start attacking the citizens.”

However, they doubt they could even do that, as the trio of the ‘new species’ became extremely powerful when it comes to facing biological lifeforms.

Other checkpoints and outposts looked around. They gazed at the outskirts of the city, their eyes bulging out when they saw that the sky was turning purple and moving towards them! The darkness of the night was slowly vanishing as the regular soldiers could not believe what they were seeing!

“What is that?” They pointed towards a single spot. Others looked where he was looking at. What they eventually saw was one girl walking towards them.

“...That’s the fire witch!”

The soldiers rushed to their positions and pointed their rifles at the incoming enemy.

“Stop right there! If you come any closer, we will shoot you!” The group leader exclaimed loudly as his hand was shaking from nerves.

Instead of saying anything, the pink-haired girl stopped walking and instead leaned forward and then… dashed towards their positions. As she did that, the sky turned sinister purple around their area, too!

What the fuck was that!?

The Pink Princess appeared in front of them, grabbed the first one by his face with her left hand, and brought her right hand closer to his chest. At that moment, a hole appeared in the soldier’s chest, and she pulled out a short knife made from a silverish substance and full of DNA-like sequences interconnected long strands.

“So this is a void weapon. This knife, I like it~~.”

Julis inspected the weapon before burning the body away in a flash. Her flames were strange purple and white as they looked more like flaming miniature crystals than actual legitimate flames. Whatever creature she was now, her powers were working differently now.

“Shoot her! Shoot her now!”

The soldiers snapped out as they opened their fires on her.

But all Julis did was snort as the next second, all the guns crystallised and then shattered into thousands of pieces.

“Your primitive weaponry does not work on us anymore.” The Pink Princess smirked for a second before moving and using her new knife to slice and dice; midway, she realised that her weapon could expand and retract. On top of that, she could spread the Virus with it at a large distance, too! It was an interesting discovery!

After killing the whole outpost, she looked around for a second, but the next moment, a loud bang hit her.

The girl backpedalled and looked down, seeing a hole in her left chest. Someone just used an anti-material bullet on her, drilling through her heart.

For a second, she coughed some blood, and the girl looked at her bloodied hands.

“So, I still have blood, interesting. I was quite certain that I was a living virus now, but It turns out I am more than just a living crystal.”

Julis thought to herself that her current understanding of herself was still something she had yet to grasp.

Yet, in a second flat, the hole in her chest stitched together, closing extremely fast. Not only that, but her clothes fixed itself as well.

“I can figure that out later, as I have someone to deal with.” As she looked at her blood, it turned into sharp crystals, lifted itself from her palms, and started to fly around her like she was a planet, and the crystals were the moons.

The Pink Princess looked around, looking for that prey, but at that moment, someone blasted her left arm off. It was a high-calibre bullet, ringing through the whole area the moment it shot.

Pained Hiss

“That hurt, you son of…”

Julis looked from the direction her hand was blasted off. She focused her senses as she ordered her sharp blood crystals to blast towards the location from where she thought the attack had come.

Her crystal punched through concrete walls as the buildings started to collapse, and her eyes eventually picked up her enemy, trying to survive the collapse.

“Hehehe, found you, little mouse.”

The girl softly said to herself as she looked at her new hand, which was made from pink crystals. The next moment, the hand altered itself and returned to paler white, looking human-like in just a few moments.

This was the perk of ‘new species’. Her immortality was something else.

With a new hand in place, she dashed towards the escaping sniper, which wounded her twice.

It only took her a couple of seconds to arrive at the location.

By that point, the sniper hides from her somewhere in the rubble.

“Fufufu, isn’t that just cute? Do you assume that you can hide from me?”

She commented as she looked around the rubble of a building.

The Pink Princess spread her hands, and the pink clouds left from her hands created clouds of viruses that started to seep into the boulders and enter the cracks between the concrete rubble.

“N-No, get away from me! N-NOOO!!!” A panicked voice screamed from a location not far from her. Julis grinned as she gazed at where it came from.

Slowly, she walked over as she found the sniper in a partially crystalised state.

“I won’t be killing you just yet.” The girl grinned slightly. Her grin was very sadistic.

“For wounding me two times, I shall use you as a weapon. Voids are weaponised souls. I will turn you into a tool for me to use anytime I want.” With a hand motion, crystals rose from the ground and lifted the partially crystalised sniper. The soldier tried to struggle, but it was pointless as the girl brought her right hand closer to him. The DNA symbol on the back of the hand glowed as she pulled out the soldier’s soul and turned it into an impressive futuristic sniper rifle.

“That makes it the second toy.” She commented before burning the body away. Even the crystals on his body were turned into dust like crystal ashes.

~~~
As Julis was having fun destroying GHQ soldiers and outposts, Alex and Inori were walking towards the city centre.
By this point, all the security personnel had been mobilised, and barricades had been erected around the city centre's core junctions.
Not that any of this mattered, as Alex and Inori were simply walking there while holding their hands. Because of this, their powers over the virus are magnified several times over. Alex made both Julis and Inori his ‘Eve’. Since he is the one who controls the virus, he decides how the virus's abilities work.
“Fire! FIRE!”
The antibodies, the Endlaves, the light tanks, rocket launchers, everything was shot at them. Yet, before the bullets even reached them, all of them became crystals and then turned into dust.
“Genesis…field.”
The pair softly said at the same time. Her voice was like gospel as waves of pink and purple energies rushed from them like shockwaves, turning everything into crystals and then into dust.
Just like that, they passed first, then second, and third barricades, turning hundreds of GHQ members into dust.
Eventually, they arrived at the beginning of the bridge, which leads to the HQ at Tokyo Bay.
The pair looked at the building, but at that moment, the skies brightened as a beam of light rushed towards them.
“Ah, the weaponised satellite.”
Alex recalled that GHQ had lofty goals of world domination.
“Shall we teach them not to overstep their boundaries?” He asked Inori while gazing at the incoming beam of light.
“...Hnnn.”
Inori nodded nonchalantly.
They raised their hands, and everything around them turned into crystals, including the air and dust. Then pink, purple, and white lightning condensed, and static energy rose in the air, compressing into plasma like a ball and then rushing towards to meet the incoming beam from the satellite weapon.
The collision was short as the satellite’s weapon overloaded, and the incoming beam simply syphoned energy and empowered itself before growing big enough to consume everything in its path.
GHQ, who were watching the whole thing, could not believe what they saw. A certain grey-haired scientist was gnashing his teeth in frustration!
He didn’t wait to die, so after his secret weapon failed, he turned around swiftly and started to walk away. There was nothing he could do to stop these two! He will simply retreat and think of something else!
‘First data… No, I can’t make another Power of King! That alien freak established himself as Adom. The new species were created, which means I need to find a way to make these new species die quickly. Maybe something sound-based?’
As he rushed out of HQ, he considered how to deal with the things he had created!
