I Got Maids in ATG c2

I wasn’t expecting what they call ‘Enlightenment’—it was not for a law but for Profound Energy control. 

It turns out that my custom bath gave me a boost in comprehension to the point that it became an Enlightenment.

“Impressive stuff,” I commented after realising that quite some time had passed.

I don't know the specific amount, but this was good. It means I can begin my exploration.

After cleaning the bathtub, I stored it in the resource realm and finally tried to use my profound floating ability.

A flaming red aura surrounded me as I rose into the air.

“Ohh… this is so awesome!”

I looked around for a bit, testing it out. It was similar to anti-gravity kind of thing.

After flying to one side and then another, I flew over to Xiao Clan’s grounds.

I gazed down from the sky where the fires should have been. What was in the place was a construction site.

‘I guess a bit of time has passed, a couple of days, maybe a week.’ 

I gazed for a bit longer before looking around.

My eyes scanned the way the whole settlement was built. There was only one road leading away from the city, which made it perfect for me.

The only thing that I need to follow is this road for bigger settlements.

With new directions in mind, I swiftly flew right above the road, passing forests and valleys until I arrived at a town next to a mountain range.

“Finally here.”

I mumbled under my breath. 

My gaze went to the mountain range, not the town. The town was a useless mid-journey hub. It was even more pathetic than Floating Cloud City.

So, I didn’t stay here; instead, I floated towards the mountain range.

“Don’t do anything excessive,” a cold girl voiced to Yun Che.

“...Huh?” 

“There is a Throne in the area.” She said while looking at a specific direction.

“A Throne? Here? What could someone like that be doing here?” He only started to cultivate, but there was already an interruption…

“There is a Throne Profound Beast in the area. It could be for that.”

The crimson-haired girl commented that her divine sense was on the throne.

‘What is with that Profound Energy purity…’ She could not believe someone like that was even around on such a backwater Star.

“...Really? Where?” 

The girl looked at him as if he was an idiot.

“Instead of courting death, focus on your training!” She exclaimed with anger as she vanished somewhere.

I looked at the cave below me. There was a powerful presence, a fiery being with barely controlled Profound Energy.

It was far worse than I had imagined.

‘Well, if this is the case, then I can do something about it.’

“Human! This land belongs to this King! Remove yourself at once.”

“Fire Dragon, I want you to become my contracted beast.” 

“...”

ROAR

Instead of a reply, flames poured out of the cave towards me.

‘This…’

I was… disappointed.

Neither did I dodged or reacted to it as the flames slammed into me.

“Are you done with your hissy fit? You should follow me. I will teach you how to control your Profound Energy. Instead of mindlessly growing in size, I can teach you how to harness your power.” 

“Cease with your lies!” 

The dragon emerged as it revealed its cultivation of the Throne. The beast lunged at me and tried to sweep away my attack with its clawed hand.

Instead of taking the attack, I showed my palm and released my golden red flames that slammed into the dragon’s hand.

PAINED ROAR 

The beast lunged back as the hand looked scorched from the flames.

“Like I said, join me. I will make you strong. Do you think you will reach Monarch like this? Simply absorbing energy is not a solution.” 

The dragon furiously looked at me.

“I am a Dragon King! I do not follow!” 

I sighed upon hearing that.

“Then let me show you the error of your thinking.” My red aura surged as I began to float and rise to his eye level.

The beast released another dragon breath, but this time around, I countered with the flames that consumed his and ended up burning his face and mouth.

From that pain, the dragon pulled back and collapsed.

“I-Impossible! How can you have stronger flames than mine!”

The dragon struggled as the burns were taking their toll on the beast.

Instead of answering, I floated lower to the dragon’s face.

“Like I said. Join me. I will make you stronger. If I wanted, I could have used more power and killed you already.” I said with crossed arms.

“THIS KING…”

“UGH…”

At that moment, I focused my Profound Energy in my hand and slammed into the dragon’s head.

The beast’s eyes widened before they rolled up.

With a loud thud, the dragon collapsed on the ground.

“Truly, a handful one. But sadly for him, he is not dealing with an average guy.” I chuckled while saying that to myself.

I floated to the beast’s head and looked around for the area between the eyes. 

Once I found it, I bit my lip until it started to bleed. With a swipe of my fingers, I got that blood before throwing it at the beast’s forehead.

The contract was somewhat established. The issue was that… he could not listen to me at all.

But that was fine. It's not like I am racing somewhere. I have enough time to… tortur— train the dragon until it will listen.

My resources will make the dragon swallow its pride.

With the dragon secured, I walked inside, deeper into the cave. My eyes eventually ended up on a red orb the size of a fist.

‘There it is…’

My hand went to the orb, and with a gentle motion, I picked it up. I inspected it from different angles.

‘I can’t sense anything special apart from Fire Profound energy.’ 

Seeing that it was useless to me, I simply threw it into my Fire Oasis. The very least it can do is beef up the vegetation there.

With the item and dragon secured, I can move on.

Xing Tong gazed at the weird individual.

This guy was just… weird… 

He didn’t kill the dragon for the Profound Core. Instead, he formed a forced contract. That’s just a stupid waste of time! Dragons like these Fire ones are a pain to tame!

On top of that.

‘He never fought a day in his life!’

From mannerism to disposition…this guy was green! How can he be a Throne? In such a backwater Star, a Throne is a power to reckon with…

Her senses can’t pick up any other thrones in this place. That means this Empire doesn’t have many of them.

‘What is going on!?’

The girl placed her hands on her head. She was confused… and worried! What place did she end up in? Will she be able to return to the Realm of Gods with people like these around her?

‘That Yun Che better not fail me!’

With a streak of light, she disappeared from the area. Whatever treasure was in the cave was collected by that weirdo.

“Where have you been?” Yun Che asked after seeing her return from somewhere.

“That Throne dealt with the Dragon and took whatever was inside the cave. You can check it out; he might have left some scraps for you.” After saying that, she disappeared into the pearl.

Her comment made Yun Che frown.

Does she think that little of him? Still, a Throne beast could have something…

So he went to the location of the supposed short fight. He was already planning to sneak in, but the fight ended before he could even approach the cave.

Regardless, he quickly arrived there and walked through the big cavern.

What he found… was lots and lots of Fire Grass!

“Haha! I can sell this for quick money!” 

The crimson-haired girl inside the pearl looked at what was before her; she was confused. That guy didn’t take any of this Fire Grass? So whatever was here was even better? 

‘Strange…’

I looked at the city before me. It was much larger than Floating Cloud City or that…

Time to shop!

With a burst of speed, I landed next to the gates. The guards who were standing guard nearly passed out after seeing me land.

“Eehhh!!!”

I gazed at one before walking over.

“Tell me, where is the best shop in the city?” I asked him.

“T-The Black Moon Merchant Guild Branch is in the city. You won’t miss it, esteemed guest! It's right there!” The guard nearly passed out as he pointed at the signs with trembling fingers.

“Oh, I can see it.” With a nod, I entered the city.

It was interesting how the same city style and concept can be here only on steroids. 

There were sects and temples… everywhere. Instead of houses like in my previous world, in this one, sects were built next to one another.

Like neighbours, but thousands of people live in one ‘house’.

Apart from that, there are occasional restaurants, inns, or marketplaces. 

Until there is a big shot.

Like a sect or a branch of a major sect that takes several ‘regular spots’.

In my previous world, it was like a rich guy’s house. It has fancy big gates made of expensive wood and stone, and the name is carved in striking letters above the gates.

One would think that they are impressive just from this…

“Not bad.”

At the very least, I can give them points for trying to look cool.

Eventually, I arrived at the merchant’s place.

I strolled inside, taking in all the fancy materials for sale.

By the time I stood in front of Tilt, the clerk was already waiting for me. He had a super professional look on his face, as he could sense my cultivation base.

“Esteemed Young Master, how may I help you?” 

“I need a new bed and clothes; I am willing to trade.” With a hand motion, several grasses landed on the tilt.

“These…”

The man slightly leaned forward as he inspected the grass.

“High quality… one moment, Young Master! I need to speak with my Elder.” 

The man disappeared in a burst of speed, leaving me alone. During that time, I went over and began to inspect the stuff available in the shop.

I quickly saw clothes for girls, and I needed some idea about the culture of clothes. Sadly, the level of clothing culture was around the level I was expecting.

Something like sexy maid clothes is not around. However, something gave me some hope. 

I found that they have qipao! Those can be sexy if properly used.

‘Hmm, I suppose I could see their boss in Phoenix City. But for that, I need a strong cultivation base to make him see me in person to help with clothes design.’

After checking clothes for girls, I went and selected some clothes for myself. Nothing too fancy, something easy to move in.

Apart from that, I went to select a bed as the one I have has holes in it.

“This one’s name is Pu He, esteemed Young Master. What else would you like to buy from us?” The clerk was replaced by an older man who was obviously the elder of the branch of the merchant’s guild.

“Give me that bed over there and these clothes.” I brought over the clothes and then pointed at the bed.

“Of course, Young Master.” 

The elder quickly calculated the prices before looking at me.

“Is there anything else, Young Master?” 

“No.”

“Then I shall prepare a Profound Currency Card.” 

“Fine.” I nodded at him. I needed that card because I could use it to visit all the restaurants in the city. It was like finally getting that cultivation version of a debit card for the first time.

“One moment.”

As he walked away, I stored all my stuff in the resources realm. I can finally get rid of that broken bed.

A couple of moments later, the old man brough over a purple card.

“It will be 1.9 million Profound Coins, Young Master, and this is our exclusive members' card. If you show this in any Black Moon Merchant’s Guild branch, you will get exclusive prices and offers.”

With the purple card, he gave me a black loyalty card, too!

“Interesting, my thanks, elder Pu He.” After taking both cards, I left the shop.
