I Got Maids in ATG c3

After shopping for essentials, I went to the closest restaurant. My arrival was like in those cowboy movies. The moment I stepped in, everyone stopped eating and just gazed at me like they saw something impossible or insane.

‘I guess my cultivation base speaks for itself.’

Regardless, I walked in and took my seat. My gaze scanned what people were selling here. I remember restaurants in the previous world used to have pictures or pieces of the menu next to the tilt. 

After waiting for a bit, a man approached. He looked mid-aged. He was most likely the manager or the owner of the place.

I was a bit dissapointed that it was not a cute waitress.

“Esteemed guest, this is our menu.” The man offered the menus, and I nodded and took them. I opened the thin booklet and started to check the content.

‘Hmm, this does look like a mix of Chinese, Indian and Vietnamese…’

I skimmed through, realising that it's like that because of location? It could be…

I don't know how the supply lines work in this place. I am pretty certain they could be using mounts to carry goods, but I could be wrong.

“I will start with your chicken dishes.” 

“Of course, might I offer our speciality?” 

“Yes, I will take that one.”

After eating my fill of chicken and desserts, I left the restaurant with a smile. It turns out that food in the world of cultivation is good. After all, if you cook shit, it could lead to death. 

So everyone is trying. 

With a full stomach, I returned to my exploration.

There were more sects, temples, and pavilions. I saw classic middle-of-street con stuff, with some desperate sect members trying to invite people to join their failing sects.

Thankfully, I had a ‘natural barrier’ that made them leave me alone; it was called ‘high cultivation’. 

‘No matter the place, scammers are everywhere. It reminds me of that Blame guy.’

Eventually, my gaze ended up on a palace-like building. 

“Oh…”

I immediately knew what this was, without even checking what was written above their gate.

This place was New Moon Profound Palace, the main plot location where the protagonist meets his first proper girl.

“...OH… Princess maid… that has a ring to it.” I sagely nodded. It's not as classy as Princess Knight, but it will do.

I pondered on what to do.

‘I could stay here until she pops up. I am certain she doesn’t stay long in one place before she moves on… and since I am here, she could rush right here to meet a ‘super expert’ who could help her.’

I crossed my hands for a second, but simply waiting can get boring. Well, I do have food to taste, but…

Without wasting time, I rose into the air and looked at the New Moon Profound Palace from the air.

‘It does have wide enough grounds for me to summon my dragon for ‘training’.’

With that settled, I descended and began to walk towards the Palace. It’s time to join school once again! This time in the cultivation world!

“Great Elder! Great Elder! T-T-There is a Supreme Expert waiting for you outside! H-He said he wants to join our Profound Palace!!!” An instructor stumbled and tumbled into Great Elder’s Hall, where the Elder was busy with paperwork.

“Control yourself, and speak plainly.” Sikong Han, the Great Elder of New Moon Profound Palace, said as he could only understand half of the instructor's words.

“Apologies.” The man took a deep breath and began to explain.” A Supreme Expert wishes to join our Profound Palace. He looks extremely young!”

Sikong Han frowned for a second.

‘A young man with a terrifying background wants to join us? Here of all places?’

It would make some sense if it were the Palace in the Imperial Capital as it has Dragon Vein, but here? This place is nothing more than a place to collect youth with promising talents that could be sent to the Capital for training.

Still, something like this can’t be ignored!

“I will see him. Show me where he is.” 

The Great Elder instructed, and the man stiffly nodded to the order.

A couple of moments later, they were in front of the hall’s entrance. Sikong Han could feel the expert’s cultivation radiating even outside! He had never experienced anything like this before!

Not even elders in Blue Wind Profound Palace have such pressure!

‘A Throne? What someone like that would want here?’

Regardless, he opened the doors and walked into the hall where a teenager dressed in…

‘Are those…’

Sikong Han knew those clothes! Those are Xiao Clan's uniforms! He had seen these clothes before! Xiao Lie's followers had them! 

‘But this makes no sense…’ 

“Esteemed Young Master, this one’s name is Sikong Han. How can I help you?” For now, he decided to find out what he wanted and maybe find out who he truly was along the way.

“Elder Sikong, I am Xiao Tianlong. I would like to join the New Moon Profound Palace. What are the requirements?” 

‘Requirements? For you?’ Sikong Han internally deadpanned. Not even Blue Wind Profound Palace elders would have the balls to tell this kid about requirements!

“With esteemed Young Master’s cultivation, there won’t be any issues for you joining. May I ask why you wish to join our New Moon Profound Palace and not in Blue Wind?” 

“Hmm? Blue Wind? I would say I arrived here first, so I will join it here. Besides, I like the weather here better.” 

“...Weather?” 

This is the first time someone said that to him… 

Sikong Han is certain that the weather is no different in the Imperial Capital.

“Yes. I like it here. I will stay for a while and figure out what to do next. Until then, I will be a New Moon Profound Palace student.”

The Great Elder perked up after hearing that!

If he plays his cards right here, he could potentially gain a Throne expert for the Imperial Family! That would boost his reputation to the heavens itself in Blue Wind Empire!

“O-Of course, Young Master Xiao! It would be an honour if someone like you would join us!” 

The elder nearly rubbed his hands while saying that.

“Good, then I need a guide and somewhere to stay. I need space. Recently, I captured an unruly dragon that I need to train. As you can imagine, a Throne True Dragon is quite big.” 

Sikong Han paled when he heard that. A Throne True Dragon!? 

“W-W-W—”

“Take it easy. There won’t be any fights. I only require space.”

After hearing it again, the Great Elder slightly calmed down.

“O-Of course…”

It would seem the only place he could offer is the Palace, which was built for royal visits. It's the only place with enough space for what Xiao Tianlong wants.

Regardless, I have a place to stay, and it's inside the city. Restaurants and the Merchant Guild are close. The place is perfect for camping until I get a maid.

‘Truly a troll worthy to mess with Heavens itself.’ I sagely nodded at this idea.

It would be amusing.

However, that can wait as I need to boost my cultivation if I want to be a true Young Master. 

So, with a simple motion of closing my eyes, I reappeared in my resource realm and walked to the pond where Overlord Lotus flowers were growing. 

I am quite certain these are rare as they place one in the Overlord Realm, something quite difficult even for major superpowers of continents. 

‘Only Devils have their Overlord pellets. Which is a mix of potent herbs.’

I recalled the idea, and at that moment, I knew the recipe. It's quite hilarious how this power works.

The issue is that without the pearl, the process is long and it would be easier to refine the lotus flowers.

After clipping a few of the lotus flowers, I brought them to the alchemist's table and began the process of making the Overlord Lotus pills.

Like last time, the first two were bursts, but the third one looked half-decent, and the fourth one came out mid-range.

A few more tries later, I had several proper ones done.

“Gorgeous… the power of Overlord in one’s palm.” I struck a dramatic pose for a second as I looked at the blue and red-ish pill in my palm.

The aura from the pill was far heavier than the one from the Emperor pill. There is no comparison between these two.

Which should be! After all, there is one major realm difference!

“Well, it's time to take that leap.”

But then my stomach rumbled.

“Damn, practising pill-making above my cultivation is taxing.” 

Not only that, but this is top-tier training for my flames and high difficulty. 

‘It's hard even when I know how or when. I can’t imagine someone who's going blind to any of this, given how rare some of these resources can be.’

After pondering the difficulty, I left my resource realm and walked out of my separate Palace. It was time to test out the food of the New Moon Profound Palace.

“That’s that expert!” Girls of New Moon Profound Palace gushed at the opportunity to see someone as strong as this guy!

They could sense his aura from a distance. The moment he stepped into the corridor, they could feel his energy rolling down through the whole hall!

“He is not bad-looking, either! " the girls continued whispering as they began to have certain thoughts. After all, they needed a single opportunity.

“Yeah, and he doesn’t look old.” The whispering continued, but it stopped the moment he was passing by. As if afraid that he would hear them.

As he was about to pass, one girl stepped forward, getting slightly in his way.

He stopped walking, and her eyes widened in horror as she realised she had done something stupid!

“... What's your name?”

“...M-Me?” She pointed her finger at herself.

“You.”

“R-Reporting to Young Master! I am Ye Hongling! [Elementary Profound Six], 16 years old!”

She quickly introduced herself, from Cultivation Realm to her age.

Instead of saying anything, he walked over in front of her. The girl’s eyes widened even further. The pressure she was feeling from him was starting to make her feel numb just from standing there.

To think there is such a huge difference in cultivation that breathing becomes hard!

“Hmm, I see. How about this: serve me, and I will make you strong.” He gently took his hand to her chin, making her look at him. 

“I need someone who can help me with basic things. How about this, Ye Hongling?” To his question, her eyes begin to spin as she is starting to heat up.

The other girls looked at this with disbelief! How did she become this lucky!?

“I-I-I..”

“Hmm, well, you can take your time. It’s not like I will fly away tomorrow.” He let go of her chin before starting to walk away.

But, this was enough for the girl as her brain caught up with her body.

“I-I accept!”

A smirk crept on his face when he heard that. It would seem his scheme is coming together!

He turned around and looked at her.

“Then come with me; you are mine now.” He might have said it casually, but those words had weight to them, and she blushed a storm! She never imagined someone would say that!

‘Maybe one needs confidence like his to reach his realm!’ Ye Hongling thought to herself as she followed after the expert.

The other girls looked rooted in the ground when they saw this!

“W-We can’t give up yet!”

“Yes! She only took a step forward to get his attention! We can do it too!”

The females began to nod to each other as if trying to motivate each other.
