Once all the items were collected and Xiao Tianlong notified the Great Elder Sikong that they were leaving, it was time to show them what a Monarch can do!

A golden flaming aura surrounded Xiao Tianlong and spread out, encasing the other three individuals.

His maid, the Princess, and the Princess' bodyguard looked at the aura with curious and barely controlled shock. They had never seen someone able to spread this much energy so effortlessly.

With aura encasing them to the full extent, Young Master Xiao…moved.

The next second, they were high in the air, right above the New Moon City.

“Princess, tell me where the Imperial Capital is?” 

He asked her as he was looking around.

“R-Right! It's in that direction. Just fly straight.”

“Alright.”

With a burst of speed, he moved through grasslands, mountains, lakes, and rivers, leaving the group barely any time to see the changing landscapes.

“So that’s the Imperial Capital.” Xiao Tianlong looked down at the sprawling Cultivation type of metropolis. It was full of Palaces, Temples, and Complexes of houses and walls. He could see sects upon sects everywhere.

This was an enormous city compared to the New Moon City… and his ‘birth’ place of Floating Cloud City was nothing more than a countryside village…

‘Now I am interested in seeing the Divine Phoenix Imperial Capital and the Realm of Gods’ cities.’

However, part of him knows that the cities where the ‘gods’ live will be stale without delicious food.

‘Or maybe I will get some deserts…’

Part of him was hopeful that he would find something good in the Realm of Gods, but for now, he needed to focus on Cang Yue.

“I suppose Blue Palace in the centre is the Imperial one?” he asked the Princess, who was close to him. After flying like crazy, she was feeling… little bit afraid.

“Y-Yes.”

With a nod, she confirmed it, and the group began to descend into the Imperial Family territory.

The guards quickly noticed approaching people from the sky and rushed to the location where they would land.

Their worry quickly vanished after seeing that two of the individuals were actually the Princess and Elder Qin.

“Princess! Welcome back.” The guards swiftly greeted the princess with a respectful bow.

The princess nodded at them, motioning for Xiao Tianlong to follow her into the palace.

The guards then quickly realised that this guy was a terrifying existence. They promptly got very respectful to him as they cupped their fist.

It was not that Xiao Tianlong was it, as he followed the beautiful princess into the Imperial Palace.

They quickly ended up in living quarters in front of fancy double doors.

“Royal Father, it's Cang Yue. Can I enter? I have brought a powerful expert who can help you.”

“...Very well…” 

One could hear that the Emperor is entertaining the girl’s efforts. 

Not much hope in his voice.

Regardless, the princess opened the doors, and the Princess, Xiao Tianlong, and his maid entered the Emperor’s bedroom. By this point, the Princess guard was already gone, as he was not needed anymore.

Inside the room, there was a large king-size bed. Laying in the middle of it was a pale-skinned man with white hair. He looked like his vitality was drained.

“Royal Father! This is Master Xiao! He is a Monarch!” The Princess quickly pointed at Xiao Tianlong.

Just mentioning his cultivation realm was enough to make The Blue Wind Emperor Cang Wanhe enter a fit of cough.

“M-Monarch, you say?”

“Yes, I am good at making pills.” Xiao Tianlong walked over and stood next to the Emperor.

“Your daughter was able to persuade me to come to see you.” 

The Emperor wondered what his daughter could possibly offer to a person whom Profound Sky Continent people regard as gods!

“W-We understand.”

“While I am not a doctor, I do have pills that are considered universal healing ones. These pills will burn any and all diseases from your body and your soul.”

“...”

There were no words to describe what the Emperor was thinking. He is more or less concerned about what his daughter will need to do to pay for such a pill!

Xiao Tianlong motioned with his hand, and several herbs appeared before him. One was a fruit emitting potent heat—warm enough to start heating the entire bedroom.

Not that these resources were around for long as flames consumed them, leaving only liquid essence behind that began to condense into a single spot above Xiao Tianlong’s palm.

Seconds later, it was done.

“Here you go. The heat will turn all the diseases in your body, and the other herbs mixed in this pill will accelerate vitality recovery.”

He explained while motioning for the pill to fly to the Emperor’s hand.

Cang Wanhe was blown away by how this teenager-looking Monarch was able to create a pill with such a casual motion.

Still, he quickly snapped out and consumed the pill. Second later, he was washed over by the heat and then… he felt… better?

Better and better, until he started to feel that whatever was weighing him down was gone! It was… surreal! He was healed!

“I-It worked! We are feeling much better!”

Cang Wanhe exclaimed with a happy voice while the Princess clapped her hands in happiness! It has worked!

“Yes, since I did my part. Now, we need to discuss what I will be getting.”

The Emperor quickly changed his expression, and he looked serious.

“Of course, tell us.”

“Princess Cang Yue is now mine. Whatever you had plans for her, cancel them, as that was the prize. From now on, she will travel and live with me.”

The Emperor’s eyebrow perked up. This was… wow…

“We understand and fully accept this proposal; it's the best outcome for this situation, Master Xiao.”

“Good, now Princess, show me Blue Wind Profound Palace. We will be staying there.”

Cang Yue swiftly recovered from the embarrassing talk as she nodded at his request.

“Yes, please, follow me, Master.” 

The Blue Wind Princess motioned for him to follow—the group soon left the Emperor’s chambers.

The Emperor smiled. Not only had he recovered from this disease, but he had also found someone nice for his daughter!

This was a double victory for him!

The Blue Wind Profound Palace was like a city inside a city. Or at least that is what Xiao Tianlong thought. The whole thing was separated into three ‘Palaces’.

The classic hierarchy system used in sects is applied here. The weakest is in the outer palace, followed by the Middle Palace and lastly the Inner Palace. 

The ranking system governs the Inner Palace, with only a hundred members.

“...How are you going to do this?” Cang Yue asked him as they arrived at Blue Wind Profound Palace.

“Challenge the Number One ranker.” He replied to her.

Princess and Ye Hongling looked at him. This is silly, to say the least…

“What? I heard that Inner Palace Members get private houses. That is why I want to be here.” He shrugged at them.

“Both of you will be staying with me.” He motioned for them to follow into the Profound Palace.

By this point, the Vice-Principal already knew what was going on. The man was waiting for them.

One could say there were no objections for Xiao Tianlong to joining the Blue Wind Profound Palace.

After getting a member’s trinket, they walked into the Outer Palace, passed the Middle Palace, and finally arrived at the Inner Palace.

It was like a suburban area minus the road. It had cobblestone footpaths, and there were several Halls.

These halls were used for techniques and weapons, while there was a tower at the centre. This tower was the cultivation tower, where the Students cultivated most of the time if not all the time.

“...Hmm… now where is it?” 

Xiao Tianlong looked around. Ye Hongling pointed at the stone-like board available at every corner.

“Over there.”

“Right… let’s see.”

The trio strolled to the closest ranking board.

‘He is not here yet… huh… So I am that early…’ The Monarch realised that Fen Juechen was not even in the Palace…yet.

“I don’t know any of them, but I do sense rank 1… let's find this guy… Bufan something…”

“Well, if he is not in his house, then he is in the Profound Gathering Tower on the lowest floor.”

“...fair enough.” 

The group strolled around the Inner Palace Grounds until they found the house meant for rank 1. A quick scan later revealed that it was empty, so they walked to the tower.

The tower was packed. Monarch’s senses could tell him that all of the rooms were occupied.

“...Damn…they all are occupied.” He sounded slightly surprised. These guys don’t take it easy.

Regardless, he walked to the closest door and saw the name on the door. It was that Bufan-something guy.

With a casual hand motion, the doors opened. There was quite a bit of space. In the middle of the room, there was a twenty-something guy sitting in a lotus position.

“Who?” The Bufan guy snapped open his eyes and got up to see who it was.

“Me.”

Xiao Tianlong made a grabbing motion and ‘caught’ him with his Profound Energy.

“We are going to battle for the Number One Ranker position, buddy.” 

Bufan guy paled as he could sense an insane amount of energy radiating from Xiao Tianlong.

“...For official battle, you need to face him in the arena.” Cang Yue told him.

“Oh, then let’s go.” The Monarch slowly nodded, pleased with the information. He could recall that Yun Che got his spot from fighting early against that Murong Guy.

The Bufan guy was brought over to him. The only thing struggling in this guy was his eyes, as he looked around in panic, not understanding what was going on!

“So [Early Spirit Profound] is the average level for Inner Palace.” Ye Hongling sensed the cultivation base of the frozen guy.

“Yes, but it's not enough for proper ranking in the Blue Wind Tournament, " the princess replied in a sad tone.

“Is it? Well, we could think of something.” Xiao Tianlong smiled at the Princess.

The beauty perked up after hearing that.

“It would be great.”

It was as if, knowing the next part, the Vice-Principal was already waiting for them at the arena.

The Monarch dropped the guy at the opposite side. 

“I surrender! I surrender! Please don’t hurttt me!”

The guy didn’t even stay as he rushed away. Xiao Tianlong horrified him so much that he had no desire to look at them.

“It would seem Xiao Tianlong is now the Number One Ranker. We would like to record your Cultivation base so that you could inspire the students to try harder.”

The Vice-Principal said with a smile. He motioned towards a special stone.

“This Profound Stone is linked to the ranking board. Place your hand on it, and it will show us your cultivation base.”

“Sure… looks cool.”

Xiao Tianlong, who was on his side of the arena, floated towards the stone and landed in front of it.

Then he placed his hand, and the stone began to glow. The glow was quite intense.

But moments later, everyone could see his cultivation.

The pair sighed. They didn’t expect Xiao Tianlong to get fascinated by a rock…

Still, they followed his lead and ended up in front of it.

The first one to place her hand was Ye Hongling.

“Nice, you are already at that level.” Xiao Tianlong was pleased by her cultivation base.

He then looked at Cang Yue.
