Ye Hongling followed Xiao Long as they walked to Black Moon Merchant Guild’s branch.

He is taking her there after eating their desserts.

“We could have waited for morning, " she said after seeing that the sun was beginning to set.

“It's fine. I do want to see you in different clothes.”

His casual comment made her blush. She didn’t expect that!

“Come now, it should be obvious. What else could I want from that place?” He chuckled as he stopped and made her catch up to him. 

He then grabbed her hand and pulled his maid closer.

“I have some ideas for your clothes.” 

Now she got nervous. Why such interest in her clothes?

“Don’t be surprised, after all. Showing my cute and extremely strong maids is important.” He sagely nodded as they entered the territory of the guild.

Once they got inside, the shop clerk noticed Xiao Tianlong, and he quickly rushed to inform his elder.

“This is the first time… I've never been here before.” She said while looking around.

“Yes, it was a little bit expensive for me to come here.” She smiled at him; her smile was strained. Not everyone has a mountain of resources.

“I see. Well, don’t bother with cultivation resources, but if you want some trinkets, do tell me.” He shrugged while motioning at jewellery with his chin. In the meantime, he walked to the clothes section.

“Not bad, red suits you.” Xiao Tianlong nodded to himself as he took another hairpin.

“Young Master, if I may,” the elder slowly walked over. ”We have jewellery with special effects, " he suggested as the Tyrant slowly placed the hairpin down and looked at the elder.

“Show me, I am interested.” Xiao Tianlong smiled slightly. “I can assume they have Profound Core?” He asked curiously.

“Indeed, they all have abilities they inherited from Profound Beasts.” 

As the elder explained, Ye Hongling looked slightly panicky as she knew that jewellery with Profound Cores!? Those artefacts are extremely expensive!

The trio walked over to a special section behind a glass-like wall.

The maid’s lower jaw slightly trembled as she saw how many zeroes the fancy-looking pendants, hairpins, and bracelets' price tags contained.

‘My parents could live for centuries with that much.’

The girl thought to herself as she looked at the price tags. These prices are absurd.

“This pendant is made with Spirit Profound Wind Wolf Profound Core. It casts a protective barrier made out of the wind when the wielder’s life is in danger.

It's a one-time protection charm, " the elder showed Xiao Tianlong as he explained to the Tyrant.

“Oh, and it looks beautiful.” He commented as the pendant ended up in his hands. 

“I will take it.” He nodded at the Guild’s Elder before handing it to the maid.

“You have more, correct? I need some hairpins for her.” 

“Of course.” The Elder smiles as he mentally counts the bonuses he will get for selling artefacts like these.

Sadly, his stuff is average, as he was in such a backwater place. He might get promoted after this shopping spree!

“Do you have anything made from Earth Profound?” 

To the question, the elder shook his head.

“Sadly, only Spirit Profound, anything above goes to the capital branch or outside Blue Wind Empire.” The elder explained to the Young Master. He knows this young man doesn’t even count his spending.

“No matter, I want you to explain these trinkets then. They will be enough for my maid, for now.” 

Ye Hongling looked at him with shock. Was he buying these just for her?

Seeing her reaction, he slightly leaned to her side and whispered.

“My maid will look as beautiful as possible. That is not negotiable.”

“Good.” Xiao Tianlong nodded before looking at the elder.” Now show me the hairpins and rings.”

“Of course.”

The elder begins to explain the abilities one gets for wearing the trinkets.

After shopping, the pair returned to the New Moon Profound Palace. It was already late, so Xiao Tianlong pulled his maid to his bed. It was time for round two.
