Xiao Tianlong spends more than eight hours mixing powerful-looking resources to get himself a pill with… possibly unknown effects.

Sure, he knows what these do individually, but mixed? He has no idea. While he knows he won’t die, he is curious about what kind of powers he will get from it.

After refining a proper pill, he left the realm and went to the room where he used to make pills.

It was most likely in the Monarch Realm, as he was a Tyrant before that.

She had no idea, as he was just sitting there surrounded by a golden flaming aura. It was nothing like she could remember from the last time.

Last time, his aura was red, but now it has turned gold.

**Knock**

“Hmm? Someone came to visit?” 

The maid moved to the front doors. Now that she was [True Profound Two], her speed increased considerably. She loved her new power!

Sadly, she was out of those sweets… otherwise, she would have kept on increasing her cultivation!

As she arrived at the front, she slowly opened the doors. What she saw was a beautiful girl in a blue dress accompanied by a bodyguard.

Her eyes perked up when she sensed the bodyguard’s cultivation.

It was at [Earth Profound].

‘A big shot…’

“Yes? How can I help you?” She asked them.

“Greetings, I am Cang Yue, Princess of Blue Wind Empire. I would like to speak with your Master.”

Ye Hongling’s eyes widened for a second, but she quickly controlled herself as she realised that it made sense to meet the royalty…

After all, her Master decided to visit the Profound Palace, controlled by the Blue Wind Imperial family….

“Of course, however, he is in deep cultivation after creating a new pill, or at least I think that he created something new as he is an alchemist.”

The pair perked up after hearing that.

“I see. We don’t mind waiting. Is that fine with you?” 

“Yes, please come in.” 

‘It would be strange to make them wait outside. This is, after all, her Palace we are occupying.’ Ye Hongling nerviously thought.

As the pair entered the palace, Cang Yue looked at the girl.

“...Are you his attendant?” She curiously asked.

“...Yes, he selected me from the Profound Palace as he joined the palace five days ago.” 

The Princess’ eyes widened as she understood what this meant!

“You are a student of this Palace? But your cultivation…” 

If this was the case, this girl should be in Blue Wind Profound Palace, not here!

“It’s Master who is helping me with cultivation.” Ye Hongling quickly explained herself.

“I-I see… so he is that good with pills.” Cang Yue’s voice was full of hope, making the maid curious.

A short walk later, Ye Hongling showed them where Xiao Tianlong was.

The pair gasped after sensing the individual before them.

“P-Princess…” The bodyguard mumbled under his breath.

“...I can’t sense the limit…” Cang Yue tried to sense his cultivation.

“...Neither do I…” The guard replied with barely controlled horror. If this guy turns on them, they are dead!

Cang Yue looked at her bodyguard in disbelief.

“He is above Throne?” She asked him.

“Way above that…”

“The last time he commented was at Tyrant. I do not know what realm he is now, as he most likely created a new pill.” Ye Hongling clarified to the pair.

“...Heavens…”

The pair realised that this guy was the strongest being in their Empire. It was a knee-jerking realisation.

“For now, wait. I don’t think it will be any longer as it was already three days.”

The pair nodded and decided to leave the room and find a place to wait.

A golden smoke escaped from Xiao Tianlong’s mouth as he opened his eyes.

It would seem that not only did he break through to Monarch, but his physique improved further. Could he pass as ‘Sacred Lord’ now?

He gazed at his hands as he clenched his fist; a surge of huge amount of power washed through him.

‘That’s a lot of power…’ 

A small frown appeared on his face. He was… too powerful, far too fast.

Yes, he should diversify, get some techniques, and maybe develop some techniques. It's not like he has some sort of mission he needs to do or an objective to fulfil.

“...Young Master, it's Hongling. We have guests; do you wish to see them?”

Xiao Tianlong realised that the moment he stopped cultivating, his cute maid responded immediately.

‘It would seem that she grew slightly stronger.’ He could sense an increase in her cultivation and purity of profound energy, but not much, as his power base grew exponentially.

“And who are these guests?” The Monarch flew over to the doors before landing in front of them.

“It's Princess Cang Yue of Blue Wind Empire, Master.” She replied as he opened the doors and saw her standing in front of him.

“Oh? I see.”

‘She took her sweet time, but then again, the girl uses Profound Beast as a mount instead of flying by herself.’

It will take time to arrive at this place.

“Then we should not keep her waiting.” He motioned for her to show the way.

“Of course. Please, follow me.” 

A couple of short minutes later, they arrived at one of the many rooms available in the Royal Palace.

“Princess, my Master is here to see you.” 

“Please come in.” 

Ye Hongling opened the doors, and Xiao Tianlong was able to see a girl dressed in a blue dress with long black hair perked up to an impressive size burst. She was undoubtedly a Heroine of a story; that elegant aura she has only amplified her beauty.

‘Wow, I am impressed.’ 

Xiao Tianlong gazed at her more than he should, but the same could be said about the Princess as Cang Yue dumbly stared at her.

“I-I would like to apologise in advance…but how old are you?” Cang Yue asked him with clearly visible shock on her face.

“A few months from now, I will be seventeen, " he replied, but then he crossed his arms.

“Since you know my age, what about yours?” The Monarch asked her with a small smirk.

“...Seventeen…” 

“Oh, not bad at all.” 

He nodded to himself before walking deeper into the room. By this point, the princess had stopped cultivating, got up from her bed, and strolled quickly before him.

“So tell me, Princess, what can I do for you?” he asked her as he got into the couch. She sat down in front of him on the opposite couch; a fancy wooden table separated them.

“...I…need your help. I understand that you are a heaven-defying pill maker. Your cultivation at such age proves it.”

The Blue Wind Princess took a deep breath before she said the most important part.

“What I need, Master Xiao is for you to check my Royal Father. He is not feeling well, and all the doctors who checked him don’t know what is wrong with him. He doesn’t have much time left to live.”

Cang Yue bowed to him as she finished explaining her request.

“Hmm, while I am not a doctor, I do know how to make universal healing pills.” 

Xiao Tianlong replied while stroking his chin. 

Princess' eyebrow perked when she heard that. Her eyes glittered with hope.

“...Then!?”

“I could check him, but what will I get in turn?” He asked her with a raised eyebrow.

“I-I doubt there is anything that my Empire could offer to you—”

“Oh, there is something I would gladly take in turn.” He looked at her with a smile.

“Then tell me, if it's in my power, I will get it for you.” 

Instead of saying anything, he pointed at her.

“I want you, Princess. Your soul, mind, heart, body, I want all of you.”

Cang Yue’s cheeks erupted into rosy pink, and she began to blush heavily. No one had ever spoken so daringly with her! 

“Y-You want me!?”

She didn’t know how to respond. A Monarch wants her!? It's like God shows interest in a village girl! Her cultivation and talent are average, with potential to reach barely the Spirit Profound…

What could she offer… 

But then again… he took Ye Hongling as his attendant… maybe he doesn’t care about talent and just takes the ones he fancies…

“Indeed. I want Cang Yue in return for healing your father. That is my only answer.” He smiled at her with crossed arms. He won’t budge on this!

“T-Then I agree. B-But! I will give myself to you AFTER you heal my Royal Father!” Cang Yue stuttered and flustered while saying that. She didn’t know how to respond to him properly.

“Of course, I don’t want it any other way.” He chuckled at her before standing up and looking at Ye Hongling.

“Go collect your things. We are leaving for the Imperial Capital.” 

“Y-Yes.”

The maid stuttered, shocked to hear what deal Xiao Tianlong struck with the Princess!

He is going to have the princess the same way he did with her!

Regardless, she swiftly left the room and went to collect whatever small things she had left outside her Storage Ring.

“...Do you teach this girl?” The Princess asked as she looked at leaving Ye Hongling.

“Indeed, I will also train you once you are mine.” He smiled while at her.

Cang Yue blushed slightly. The way he said sit sounded like it had a double, if not triple, meaning.

‘Is he that interested in me?’ Just thinking about that made her fiddle with her dress and hair.

For some reason, the Blue Wind Princess felt that she was getting herself into something she should have spent some time thinking about first.

“Now come, we need to tell Grand Elder that I am leaving. I need to tell him that the Princess has stolen my heart, and I have no other choice but to leave them.” Xiao Tianlong pretended that he was doing something with a heavy heart.

“W-What?” The Princess looked dumbfounded when she heard that! 

“Hmm, it's not true?”

“W-Well…” if he put that like that… 

Seeing her struggling, Xiao Tianlong chuckled before using his hand to hug her. He brought her closer before whispering into her ear.

“I am teasing you, Princess.”

Her eyes widened for a second before she puffed her cheeks.

“T-To think that a Monarch would behave like that!” She huffed, and here she was, struggling to think how to reply! Yet, he is behaving so shamelessly.

“Hohoho, I am not hiding behind my cultivation, Princess.” He chuckled some more before switching from hugging to taking her arm.

“Let’s go. I need to collect some things before we can leave the Palace. I might have stayed here for a couple of days, but I do have a couple of things I want to take with me.” 

“Of course.” Princess nodded at his words as she followed him.

A few moments later, her Bodyguard joined them. The man was like a shadow; he didn’t say a thing and simply followed them.

‘To think this guy is supposed to play the Branch Palace’s Master role.’

Xiao Tianlong recalled him flexing against the Xiao Sect Branch Master, as they had the same cultivation realm.

Well, this time around, he won’t see it. Hell, this time around, stuff with Yun Che will move differently.

‘I wonder what he will do.’ 

The Monarch is genuinely curious. Without Cang Yue, he could take a different route.
