Lacus looked at the shops in the mall, a large shopping centre full of all sorts of things. 

It has been ages since she has been in one.

On top of that, she was without security escort, and no one—

The girl saw how Kira looked at people who recognised her. He would give them a ‘death’ stare, making them question their life choices.

“You do know that it’s fine…” The girl commented with a nervous smile.

“It's not fine. If you let one, then there will be an avalanche of idiots who want something. Lacus is mine, and that’s it.” He explained as he pulled her closer and whispered into her ear.

With such close proximity, he is telling everyone to buzz off from him and his darling.

In the meantime, Lacus blushed with how possessive he was.

“....O-Okay.. “ 

“Anyway, let’s go.”

As Kira’s parents were meat shopping, Kira took his fiance to the bank.

First, he needed to check his bank account at the ATM. 

Thankfully, it was not busy. Early mornings in malls, especially on workdays, are not that busy. With no lines, Kira strolled to the first ATM and pulled out his wallet.

“It has been ages since I used it, " he joked, as he couldn’t recall the last time he used…

Even when he was in PLANT’s, he used a new bank account, as Kira Yamato is kind… banned there for obvious reasons.

He checked his balance once the card was inserted and the pin entered.

“That’s a lot of zeros.” 

The pinkette needed to count the digits.

“Thats… twelve numbers… I am certain you have more than the entire PLANT’s GDP…” Lacus commented with a sweaty forehead.

She is certain that if the world knows this, Kira will be known not for ending the war but for performing the biggest robbery in humanity’s history.

“How did they allow you to keep this much… move this much wealth from one account to another?” Lacus asked him, as she thought this could be fake.

“Well, it's not one from another. Since Azrael had more than one account, this was the result after passing through Lord Uzumi’s desk.”

“...You…” the girl realised that Orb was part of the scheme to rob Blue Cosmos! 

“Relax, everything is according to the plan.” 

He pressed the red button, and the card popped out from the ATM. With a casual motion, he took it, grabbed his fiance’s hand, and began to walk towards the counters.

The Ultimate Coordinator needed to see the manager and arrange one for himself as he needed to make money flow.

Buying stock, buying land, buying Morgenroete… all that stuff.

Lacus didn’t comment as she just watched Kira do his thing. She never did any of this stuff herself; most of the time, she simply followed her father’s lead.

Even then, it was politics, not banking, but this was refreshing… no weapons or mobile suits, just Kira talking money…

‘Money he took from the World's biggest terrorists… nothing is simple…is it?’ 

For a second, Lacus thought that this could be normal, but nope.

After arranging future meetings, Kira left the bank with Lacus in hand.

“Where now?” He asked her.

“I will follow you…” She counter replied.

“No, you went with me to this boring meeting. We should go somewhere you would want.” Kira smiled at her.

“...Since you insist.” She pointed at one shop with music notes and TVs with dancing girls in them; they looked like music videos.

“Music?”

“Yep! Now come.” The Pinkette pulled him towards the shop.

“Alright.” 

The pair entered the shop, and Kira looked around. It had a bunch of headphones, audio systems, and loudspeakers.

Where Kira’s gaze ended up was a section with a familiar pinkette’s posters…

“Oh wow, I wonder what kind of songs this singer has~~~” The Ultimate Coordinator whispered to his fiance, who followed his gaze at that specific section.

“Oh…” Lacus looked surprised for a second.

“I didn’t expect to see my songs outside PLANTs.” She said with genuine surprise.

“You do realise that Orb is the only nation with Coordinators apart from PLANTs.”  

“Yes, but still…” 

Kira walked over and checked Lacus's albums. As he looked curiously, the girl simply rolled her eyes at his behaviour.

“You could just ask me to sing for you.” She puffed her cheeks for a second.

Part of her was annoyed that those CDs were taking his attention instead of looking at her.

“Yes, well, I do want memorabilia related to you. I might have pirated your songs for my collection, but this is genuine stuff, and I would be supporting your studio.”

He waved her CD at her.

Lacus rolled her eyes at him.

“You know that my producing company might as well be defunct after what my father and I did.” Lacus sighed as she now wondered what happened to everyone who supported her.

Their actions were a bit drastic, and the repercussions could have been bad.

“Yes, but now your father is back in the spotlight.” Kira shrugged. The ultimate coordinator is certain that things have played out regardless.

“He is, but he has enough things on the plate as it is.” She got closer and took the CD away from him. 

“If you want my songs, then you listen to me sing to you directly.” She puffed her cheeks before taking his hand and leading him away from her section and towards the headphones.

“Let’s check headphones. I like the ones you let me use when I was on Archangel.” Lacus softly said to him as she recalled that time on the warship. She recalls that time fondly… minus the fighting! Of course!

“...Ok… you can always use them if you want.” Kira nodded but then told her to use his as much as she wanted.

“No, you should have them with you. I can assume you use them to help you work. I can’t interfere when you work.” The pinkette clarified why she can’t hog them all the time. 

“...I guess…” Her reasoning made sense as they began to inspect the selection of headphones available for display.

“L-Look is that… Lacus Clyne?” One of the customers in the music shop looked at the pinkette for a bit before realising who it was.

Kira’s whole body trembled as he looked at the source. One by one, people began to recognise her.

They all started to move towards the clueless girl who was testing out a set of headphones.

At that moment, Kira decided to use his ace in a hole. He wrapped his hands around her, making Lacus look at him confused.

The Pink Songtress wondered why a cuddle at such a time.

“Kira?” 

Instead of replying, he looked in a specific direction, making her look there as well.

There was a realisation in her eyes as she saw people looking at her in disbelief. They all wondered why the brown-haired teen was hugging her like that.

“You do know that I could sign those autographs and let them go?” She whispered to him while being in his hands.

“You could, or you could ignore them and pay all that attention to me~” He replied to her with a smirk.

“...True…” 

Flirting like that made people stop trying to approach the songstress. It became awkward, and they all swiftly left to do their thing. The thing is… the news will spread, but it was fine.

After getting a set of pink headphones, the couple left the music store and continued to explore the mall.

As they were doing that, the pair ended up sitting in one of the lounges with ice cream. 

“It has been ages since I did anything like this,” Lacus said to Kira while placing her head on his shoulder.

“Yeah, I know, and I am planning to keep it this way.” Kira stroked her waist while replying to her.

His tone made her wonder what he had in mind. But by this point, she knew that he had an idea of what to expect and how to prepare.

“...Okay…” 

Her eyes then wandered around and ended up at a specific clothing store.

She noticed these swimming all over the place. Since Orb is situated in such a warm place

“...How much time do we have left?” she asked him. The girl remembered that he wanted to see her in swimming clothes.

“I have no idea.” But then he recalled that his mother had given him two hours to spend at the mall.

“Around forty minutes.” He said after checking his wristwatch.

“Great, then let’s go.” Lacus quickly got up, making Kira follow him. He stooped up after her and grabbed the bag with Lacus's headphones.

The couple strolled into the swimmingwear store. It was full of… interesting stuff.

‘No amount of war with huge robots will destroy that is beautiful…’ Kira sagely nodded to himself, since he IS a ‘Sage’… well, inhabiting the body of a ‘Sage’…

Jokes aside, the beauty of a bikini that continues to exist in such a dark timeline is great.

“I can see that you are excited, Kira.” Lacus slightly smile.

“Of course I am. I am about to see my beautiful girlfriend in a bikini.” The Ultimate Coordinator nodded with crossed arms. He looked very pleased with this situation. Such a reply made the girl blush quite a bit. She can’t believe he was so open about this.

Still, the girl began to explore and look at the selection of clothes. There were quite a few revealing ones and then conservative ones.

Honestly, her experience in all of this is quite limited. She was raised in PLANTs, so her exposure to beaches is very limited. 

“Hmm, this…” Kira pulled a blue piece from the racks and brought it over to her.

“Not bad.” He imagined her in a blue one.

“...don’t you think…” Lacus tried to voice her concern, but Kira pondered for a second.

“It looks gorgeous, but you need more selection. Honestly, it's hard to find anything bad on you. It's simply the fact that my girlfriend looks gorgeous in everything.” Kira sighed in disappointment, knowing that all these clothes simply looked like garbage on his goddess girlfriend.

The pink princess blushed even harder when she heard that. The longer this lasts, the more praises he will tell! She is not immune to that!

“C-Can’t you stop with all this teasing!?” The pinkette stuttered as she felt that Kira was bullying her!

“Teasing? What are you talking about? I am stating facts that you are beautiful.” He shook his head. Where does she get the idea that he was messing with her?

“Hmph!”

The pink princess puffed her cheeks as she grabbed the swimming clothes from him and went to look for some by herself.

Sadly… she had no idea what to pick. Her taste for clothes is non-existent.

Thankfully for her, Kira collected bikinis in red, black, and white with colourful flowers and mixed colours.

“There, now go put them on.” He motioned for her to use the changing rooms.

“H-Here?” 

Lacus blushed as she didn’t expect to change here!

“Duh, that's why it's called changing room.” He rolled his eyes.

The girl stiffly nodded before walking to the changing rooms with a pile of bikinis.

After a good ten minutes, the girl poked her head from the curtains.

“D-Do I need to leave the room?” 

Kira chuckled and shook his head. “In that case, I will enter it.”

He strolled inside. Lacus panicked for a second, but she had no choice as she was cornered. Sure enough, the Ultimate Coordinator saw his beautiful girlfriend in a blue two-piece bikini.

“Gorgeous…”

He was out of words as he had never seen Lacus in a proper Bikini, neither in the source material nor before….but now…

A gulp escaped as he quickly got close to her, pinning the blushing beauty against the wall.

“Do you know what guys do with their gorgeous girlfriends?” He whispered a question in her ear.

Lacus' blush magnified. Even when she is this sheltered, she knows what he is hinting at…
