Lilian looked at her classmate with complex emotions. She had never been this meek before anyone except her strict father.

But this was different. She had this urge to follow him and listen to his commands.

It was even more evident after she asked to follow him, and he agreed. The feeling surged, intensifying…

Now, she feels secure and content. If any of the difficult choices fall on him, all she needs to do is follow him.

“What is it?” Ren asked her. He was working on a fish. The previous one he was cooking had burned, so he was making another one.

“...Can I have some food?” She asked in a borderline meek voice.

It was so not her… but the black-haired girl was in an alien world, and this guy was the only one who could help her survive and not die…

Just imagining those green monstrosities is making her shake uncontrollably.

“...Take a stick and a fish.” He motioned to the side where the stick and fish were.

Lilian swiftly followed his command and got a stick and fish. This was her first food since coming to this world!

As she was setting up to cook the fish, Ren was doing his thing. He could finally see all of the notifications.

“...” The black-haired girl deadpanned at him.

“What? I am just getting back at you.” He shrugged before dismissing the windows.

“...Ugh…”

Why now? When she is in such a situation, he decides to be an ass…

“To your question, because I love this world! I love the system! I love the skill. One of the reasons why I save that perky ass of yours is so that I could kill those midgets.”

At first, Lilian blushed before exclaiming in disbelief.

“You are… crazy…”

“More precisely, I was bored in the previous world. This world is just perfect for me.” He went back to the fish.

Just mentioning goblin mommy made her tremble uncontrollably.

His reasoning… while horrifying, was reasonable and made sense. Lilian almost curled to make herself look smaller.

“...I-I understand… I will follow you…” She replied after thinking for a bit.

“Such a reply doesn’t give much hope, but I will give an element of doubt.” He sighed at her half-baked reply.

“...D-Do you think it's easy?” She got a bit angry with him.

“Yes, it is.” He replied immediately.

“Imagine waking up, dressing up, eating, going to school, studying, eating, studying, sleeping, rinse and repeat until you are ‘tested’ by some strangers who give zero fucks about you. They decide what you will do as an adult.

This…” He motioned at his surroundings.

He scoffed at the last part. Before taking a wolf belt he had and using his alchemy to turn the pelt into usable leather, he made strings and a needle with a spare small bone he had.

As he was doing that, Lilian had a chance to process what he had said.

“Here, you have that tailoring skill, make clothes for yourself, or do you want me to push you down and have my way with you?”

The girl looked at the leather for a second before scrambling to make clothes for herself.

“Now, I don’t know if I should be offended or not.”

She stopped for a second before looking at him with panicky eyes.

“T-There is place and time for such things! T-They are important for girls!” Lilian explained herself.

“True, but that only applies if the guy cares about the girl’s feelings.” He shrugged at her.

“...”

“See. Anyway, make your clothes. I will watch the fish.”

The black-haired girl stiffly nodded as she began to sew leather pants.

As she was working on her clothes, Ren pondered what to do next.

He needs to slaughter those guys. He wants their skills, such as copycat, Necromancer, Hero, other magics, and supreme skills like Sorcery.

The list is huge, and there are around twenty people… roughly.

Who knows who died or got turned into goblin mommy…

After a while, Lilian was done with the clothes.

“...Umm…I need to change.”

“Then change.” Ren rolled his eyes.

“...Umm…”

“You…can you turn around?” She asked with an embarrassed blush.

“Seriously? I saw everything that I needed to see. Why are you so… weird?” He sighed in annoyance before turning his head to the side.

“I-Its called normal human decency!”

“Right, ten that to the goblin who can jump on when I am not looking.” 

“A-As if there is any around here!” The girl looked around in fear.

“Let me call them. I have a skill.” He chuckled, but the girl quickly got close to him in panic.

“N-No!”

For a second, he chuckled before stopping. Her silliness was slowly getting annoying.

“Just dress up already.” 

“O-Okay…” the girl quickly placed her leather pants on. She felt…better immediately. Being able to cover herself like that was a feeling she never thought she would miss!

“Okay, I am done.” 

Ren turned around and looked at her grey trousers.

“Hot. You do know how to excite a guy.” The teen was impressed by her tight leather trousers. She looked like a rogue. With a tight-fitting top and a cape, the girl would pass as an archer or a rogue.

“I am not trying!” Lilian became self-aware when he mentioned that. Now she wonders why she made such tight trousers…

Not realising that Ren’s Commanding Presence works differently on females, they want to please their leader.

“Whatever you say.” As he shook his head, he saw a notification pop up.

Ren realised that he could milk people's presence! For skill levels.

“...Hmm? Is there something wrong?” Lilian asked as she looked at him, staring at his stat window.

“Nothing, don’t worry.” He smiled at her.

“Do you want more leather for the top?” The teen smiled at his female companion.

“...Please.” She stiffly nodded.

Ren smiled back, took another pelt, and began to use alchemy. The girl looked closely at what he was doing. Midway, she went over to watch the fish roast.

Of course… she did everything she could to ignore the small hill of goblin corpses.

After a couple of minutes, he handed the leather over to her.

“T-Thanks…”

The girl took it, but then she looked at the fish.

“Let’s eat it first, then you can work on your clothes.” He noticed her gaze.

“...O-Okay.”

He handed her the fish before taking him and starting to eat it.

She has healing, tailoring, and archery, which means he needs to get her a bow and arrows.

Arrows are not hard; the tips will be from bones. The only issue is the bow itself. He needs specific wood for those to make them bendy and stuff.

“Say, you practise archery. Do you have any idea about the wood itself used in their creation?” He asked her after he dismissed his stats window.

“...Umm… I practised shooting, not bow making.” She replied with a nervous tone.

“Yeah, thought so.” He shrugged before looking around. 

“I could just wing it and use alchemy on wood to make it bendy for archery.” He thought out loud.

Lilian didn’t comment on it; she was more nervous about shooting living targets or simply afraid of the whole situation.

“...”

“What do you think?” He asked her as he noticed that she was quiet.

“...Do what you think is the best. I am far too new to these things.” She replied after thinking about how to word it.

Ren slightly smiled as he noticed how the girl began to adjust to her situation. Her ‘Highness’ attitude was gone, and she stopped with her ‘provoking’ mentality.

It was amusing, but then he realised that he had a skill that was mitigating her behaviour.

‘So even with an Evil skill, I could create a party for myself.’ The teen realised that he was not set for being a loner in this world.

“Alright, but this is a bow for you.” He shrugged as he went to the closest tree.

As he walked a distance away from her, Lilian watched her closely. She turned pale, hoping that he wouldn’t run away from her!

The girl is traumatised from that experience.

For a second, she looked but then relaxed, seeing him return to her with a large branch in his hands.

The black-haired girl looked at her hand. She was shaking like a leaf.

‘Calm down, calm down! Everything will be fine!’

The girl took a deep breath as she returned to her sewing. Meanwhile, Ren sat down with a big branch, pulled out his short-bone sword, and began to chop smaller branches.
