The Games We Play -Shaman c56
Added 2025-03-18 18:16:51 +0000 UTCVenelana didn’t wait. She knew where Sona lived in the human world, so she teleported there without hesitation.
The brown-haired Lady Gremory walked around for a bit before picking up a distinctive aura in the living room.
As she took a deep breath, she was about to enter, but a pair of yellow eyes were looking from a dark corner of the room.
Her breathing hitched for a second. She didn’t expect that!
“You do know you can’t make a drop on me anymore.” Raynor’s voice came from the living room.
“I am not trying to do that!” Venelana exclaimed in an almost desperate tone. She didn’t try to attack! Now she needs to explain this!
She swiftly walked into the living room. Her eyebrows perked up, seeing wolves in the living room! There are six of them! The one closest to him was the biggest!
“Then what is it you want?” Wolf King questioned her. He wasn’t that interested in what she would say as he was in his hunting mindset.
“Grayfia.”
“The Lucifer’s maid? What about her?” He asked with a raised eyebrow.
“I understand that you can travel between worlds at ease,” Venelana said in an assured tone.
“Yes, I can.” He admitted that much.
“Then you could have brought her to another world.”
“I am good at hunting, not capturing.” His eye rolled at her theory.
“She was a strong devil. Someone like her has considerable raw power.”
“True, but you have beaten Serafall.”
Raynor looked at her for a bit.
“Are you suggesting that I have kidnapped Lucifer’s maid?” He chuckled at such a ‘preposterous’ suggestion.
Venelana frowned for a second. She could feel that he was mocking her.
“You are a hunter, a predator. Your kind seeks strong females. That is why you kept Serafall instead of killing her. I can imagine you did the same to Venelana.” The brown-haired Gremony Lady concluded.
In her eyes, all of the routes lead to Raynor.
“Hmm, quite the observation. The question is, where is your proof?” He raised his eyebrow.
Venelana frowned. By this point, she expected him to brag that he had bagged her daughter-in-law.
But none of that came out.
“You won’t admit?”
“I admit that a crazy maid attacked me. She was afraid of what I could do. I disposed of such a maid.”
Raynor summoned his inventory and went through the items.
In his hand appeared a red Queen piece. He threw it at Venelana.
“You can have what is left of her.”
The brown-haired devil lady looked at the Queen piece in disbelief.
For a piece to appear like that… one needs to be dead!
“...No way… you did kill her.” She was in shock. The lady was 100% sure that he kept her alive! That he kept her like a toy or something!
Not kill her! Did he truly didn’t know who she was?
The Queen piece was the proof she needed…
“Like I said, I am good at killing. What don’t you understand?” He pulled out a knife and swirled in his hand.
“Your daughter-in-law thought she could do something about me. I proved her wrong.” He looked at the edge of the blade, turning it to the side to see her reflection on it.
“I can do the same with you. I don’t like accusations like that. Did you forget that your daughter is my summon?” He slightly narrowed his eyes at her.
“...I didn’t forget.” Venelana, a bit nerviously, replied.
“No, you might do. For a being who lives long, you could have decided that you can have a bunch of children now that my hot springs are operational.
Or you don’t care. That could be a possibility.”
He pondered out loud. Making her grimace.
“No, that is not it.”
“Oh, I see. You got obsessed with the fact that you got it wrong and then wanted to prove that you were right in the end.
Truly, a creature of sin.”
“What do you expect? She is a Bael.” Tsufaame commented as she appeared next to Raynor.
Venelena looked at Leviathan with a frown.
“Lucifer gave them the title of Great King for their impressive abilities.” The Leviathan explained in a mocking tone.
“But it appears their arrogance seeped into their blood if they think they can behave like that.”
“Indeed. It’s because of that the poor Grayfia lost.”
“Fufufu, true. She has quite a scream~” Tsufaame easily played along, making Venelana grimace as she realised she had got into quite a situation.
“Tell me. Now that you got what you wanted. How are you going to leave?” He asked curiously as he continued to swirl his knife.
“...Y-You are not planning to let me go? I only wanted to ask a question!”
“You accused me of things, and now you want to leave as if nothing happened.” Raynor scoffed at her arrogance.
Venelana gnashed her teeth as she realised she wouldn’t get away that easily.
“...W-What is it you want?” The brown-haired devil beauty asked. Part of her had some idea of what he would want.
Does he want to continue where they left off?
“Hmm…”
The Shaman stood up from his seat and walked before her. His wolves watched everything closely. If not for her nervousness, she might have felt a bit afraid of wolves that could kill devils…
The Wolf King stood in front of her, his hand going to her chin and making her look directly into his eyes.
“I do love proud people. As they say, people with similar traits attract each other.
Sadly, that saying ends here, as it's a bit different when one sees others either as food or as a means to extend one's legacy.
This situation is not different. I want to test something~~” As he said that, he leaned forward and smacked his lips on hers.
Venelana didn’t look surprised at all, as she expected something like that.
However, she didn’t expect what would happen next, as she felt some sort of strange energy rushing into her through their connection.
The Gremory Matriarch tried to resist, but it was strange as she had no idea how to resist. Calling forth demonic energy didn’t do a thing as the next moment, Raynor’s hands were on her butt as he picked her up and took her to the wall and continued to assault her lips.
After a prolonged kissing session, he was done and pulled back his head.
He looked at the rosy-looking Lady Gremory. The brown-haired devil lady looked flustered for a second, as she had no idea what was going on with her.
Was it some sort of strange control magic or something? Because she had no idea how to resist it.
“What did you do?” Venelana asked after calming herself.
“Made you mine.” He whispered back, making her eyes widen in horror. Did he make her into his summon?
“W-What?”
“That’s right! You are my summon now. You can’t escape regardless of where you are.” He squeezed her ass cheeks while saying that.
Lady Gremory ignored his fingers as she tried to process what she just heard! This was insane!
“... It's only fair, don’t you think? We ‘fought’ and I won. Making you mine by submission, you gave up in that battle, and now you instinctively knew that I was your master~~~.”
The devil lady trembled in his hands. She subconsciously knew what he said was true!
“...Nonsense, we are not animals like that!” Venelana tried to fight back, but a grin appeared on Raynor’s face, and he looked like he had accepted this challenge.
“Are you sure you want to say that? Hmmm?” He leaned closer to her, hoping she would show him a tough front.
Sure enough, the brown-haired devil looked away, but she didn’t dare to look into his eyes.
“Thought so.”
As he smiled at her response, he felt magic being used. People appeared in a different room.
It was Sona and her peerage.
Without wasting a second, he dismissed Lady Gremory. The beauty didn’t comprehend what had happened to her.
It will take a while for her.
He turned around and walked back to his seat. In the meantime, he summoned his companion window and checked the latest addition.

[Venelana Gremory]

[Bloodline: Bael, From 72 Devil Pillars]
[Magic: Devil, Dark, Soul]
[Talents: Household Management, General Management, Diplomacy, Sex ]
[Obedience: 83%]
[Loyalty: 57%]
‘Hoh, so a mother is just like a daughter. I guess it's genetics by this point.’ Raynor observed Venelana’s ‘talents’. He wasn’t surprised… by this point, he confirmed something he was expecting to be there.
“Raynor! Meet my peerage.” Sona entered the room after spending a couple of moments standing behind the doors. The girl was composing herself; it almost looked like she was preparing for an exam. She gave such an aura.
In a sense, it was cute to watch her behave like that!
As the girls gathered in the living room, he looked at the lined-up devils. They all were girls…
“Were you preparing a harem of girls for yourself from the very beginning?” Raynor joked as he saw the girls.
While he was jovial, the girls were a bit nervous. Man-eating wolves looked at them like slabs of meat and were just waiting for the females to do something bad.
“You jest. I simply collected the talent that appeared before me; it just turned out they were females.” Sona replied to his joke. She felt that she needed to explain herself to him why she had such a line-up.
“If you say so, why don’t you introduce me to them?” As he commented, the biggest wolf had walked over to him and sat down next to his feet. Raynor began to stroke his fur as he looked at them.
“Of course.” Sona pushed her glasses up and motioned at the tall girl with glasses and long black hair.
“This is my Queen, Tsubaki Shinra. She comes from a long line of exorcists and is talented with a Naginata.”
She then motioned at the white-haired girl, “This is my bishop, Momo Hanakai. Her family has a long-standing business relationship with my Sitri Clan.”
The white-haired girl awkwardly waved her hand at Raynor, as she was a bit scared of this many predators in the building.
Sona knows this trick, and Raynor wants to see which ones are courageous enough to stand up against such a threat. This is a basic method of sorting out weak from strong…
“My other Bishop, Reya Kusaka, found out about Supernatural from her grandmother, a witch.”
The girl had braided brown hair with matching brown eyes. The girl politely bowed to him.
The Shaman perked up at the witch part. One could say that he is similar… voodoo magic, rituals, and all that stuff. If his guess is right, he could expand and become a Druid, thanks to his Northerner blood.
“Interesting profession, you should know a thing or two about witchcraft, don’t you? I do use similar craft.”
To Wolf King’s words, the girl looked a bit flustered, getting his attention like that wasn’t in her books, but it was a welcoming surprise.
“I do know things my grandmother taught me; however, I haven’t practised them since becoming a devil.”
“Hmm, you should practise what separates you from others.” Raynor quickly replied, expanding on what he meant. “Devils separate from each other by their bloodlines. In your case, since you don’t have that perk, you should study something else.
It's how I beat Sona’s sister and made her my summon.”
“...” Sona sighed. It seemed he would continue to use her sister as some sort of badge of honour.
Not realising that it was more than that, Sitri Heiress didn’t consider what Raynor could do further to her sister as he made sure he claimed her properly as his.
“...I heard about it…how did you beat her? Isn’t she a Satan?” Now that they know that Raynor is not that hard to speak with, Reya has a bit of courage.
“Blood magic," he bluntly told them, making the girls pale. Just mentioning that made them realise how dangerous this guy is!
Blood magic is the literal manipulation of the life of someone else! For devils, that is dangerous as they live for very long. If one damages or curses a devil’s blood, he or she will have to stick with it for a very long time.
No wonder he beat Satan Leviathan!
“I possess a higher form of blood magic. It allowed me to bypass Sera’s absurd Demonic levels of energy.” He told them already common information about him, not something rare or hidden, those he is keeping close to his chest.
“...I see… so that's how you were able to do.”
“Indeed, sometimes knowledge is better than raw power, something Sona is well versed in.” He looked at Sona. The girl blushed a bit.
“From the looks of it, you are trying to build a technician style of team. That is why you should focus on more abstract forms of magic.”
“That is why I want to take them to Westeros.”
“...Westeros?” The girls looked confused for a second. They heard that name somewhere.
Regardless, they needed to continue listening to what Sona was saying.
“Over there, we can learn new methods of magic to overcome the lack of raw power.”
Raynor nodded at her plan; it was something he could get behind. As the underdog in most of his recent fights, he understands how his Fiancee is feeling.
“Indeed, however, you will need the blood of locals to access their ancient types of magic.
Or at least that’s how I see it.” The Shaman pondered on their situation.
“I see, but didn’t you have a ritual site for such bloodlines?” The girl recalled him talking about acquiring minor Water and Air god bloodlines.
“I do. However, it's close to Highgarden, close to the West Coast of Westeros, so we will need to travel there,” Raynor explained.
“Besides, your girls will need to kill people with an affinity for magic, most preferably Northerners.”
The casual comment about killing people makes Sona’s girls a bit scared. But Sona has already gotten used to his ways of talking.
“We can arrange that. There are a bunch of bandits there after you destroyed the Iron Throne, and the Kingdoms are back in Battle Royal once again.”
Raynor smiled upon hearing that. He is quite proud of achieving that!
“Indeed, North should start infighting as we speak.” Raynor realised that it could take a while until a fascinating part of history started once again.
‘I do need to deal with Night Walkers. Thankfully, I have a good method to deal with them~.’
The Shaman touched the pendant he was wearing. It houses his Frost Spirit, a spirit that can eat and grow in strength.
And it just turns out that the Night Walkers are being of ice.
“Then it’s good for us.”
“...Umm… Sona… is it necessary?” Momo, who has known her for years, is a bit worried about killing random people, bandits or not…
“It is. Bandits are no different from rogue devils. They pillage and rape, steal and plunder, so we need to deal with them, and if they have some use, like their blood, then use it.” Sona sharply told them what would happen.
“...I understand.”
“Good. Then we are in agreement about this plan.” The Sitri Heiress nodded before looking at Raynor.
“Let’s continue. There are a couple more girls that I need to introduce.”
Sona motioned at a girl who had a grin a couple of moments ago but looked a bit subdued now.
“This is Tomoe Meguri. She is my Knight. She comes from the Meguri exorcist clan and is well versed in swordsmanship.” The black-haired, glasses-wearing girl introduced a hyperactive-looking girl with reddish brown twin-tail hair.
“Yo! It's an honour to meet a legitimate Shaman! You guys are like an extinct profession of natural magic users!”
“I heard that before. You can study forms of shamanism in nature-rich places, nothing special.” Raynor shrugged at their fascination with how rare it was.
“Still, it's cool!”
“Good to hear that you like it.”
He then looked at the last remaining girl, who had gloves on. That means that she is a martial artist.
“And this is Tsubasa Yura. She has talent in martial arts, and before becoming the devils, she could fight supernatural by herself.”
Raynor perked up after hearing that! He walked over to her and inspected her from top to bottom. She was a tall girl with shoulder-length blue hair and a tomboyish disposition.
It’s clear that she is used to physical stuff, unlike the majority of females in current society.
“You don’t have any special abilities but achieved something not many could do through sheer perseverance alone. I like that~”
The girl blushed a bit, as this was the first time someone had praised her for her style of fighting. Sure, Sona said that she was talented, but it's different when it comes from a guy who is similar to her!
“T-Thanks.”
Raynor nodded and looked at Sona.
“You will bind them to yourself as summoning companions to a summon.
It's the same way Margaery can summon her girls. This way, we can travel a large distance without much of a hassle.”
Raynor explained how they can cheat travelling in Westeros.
Of course, it will be much easier in the future once he marks areas and leaves his banners there for fast travel.
“I understand. How should I do it?” Sona nodded, as she was a bit jealous of how Margaery had her girls all around her all the time!
“Just pull on our connection and channel it to the rest of them, " he explained to her simply.
The Sitri Heiress pondered for a bit before focusing on the mana flow between her and Raynor.
She tried to manipulate it in some way, but it did not go anywhere.
“Have intent behind it. Otherwise, it won’t work.” Raynor could see that she struggled with this form of magic. He wonders how her devil magic is, not Sitri's bloodline magic, as she is better with human stuff than Devil magic.
‘Well, she is better with math and not imagination.’
