“Umm…” Lin Fengyuan was a bit worried as Xiao Tian Long was sitting there with an evil grin on his face.

The girls have never seen someone have such an expression while developing techniques…

“What do you think he is making now?” Lan Yunyue asked the two more experienced girls. 

“Well, sister Yuhan said he created a powerful mind technique for her.” Qin Xingxuan replied with crossed arms. She was a bit jealous! Before, she would have been just happy to cultivate such arts, but the game had changed. Now, they were getting techniques left and right.

In her mind if Wang Yuhan got a technique and she not, it means that Qin Xingxuan is lacking something. That is what she wants to figure out! 

“A technique… just for her?” The pair of girls could not imagine… what a privilege! Just making a technique could be the difference between a sect and a mundane mortal!

Cultivation technique is the core basis of everything. They are practising Chaotic Virtues Combat Meridians, which will allow them to reach Houtian and make their bodies extremely durable.

So if Wang Yuhan has something on top this… does it mean she has means to reach Xiantian?

“We are worried… did we do something wrong?” Qin Xingxuan asked as she had her hand close to her chest. She looked like a hurt puppy.

The Sword User looked confused as he massaged his forehead. “What are you talking about?” He asked.

“Well… sister Yuhan got a Cultivation Technique, she said it’s a powerful one. If it's true, then it's something that will help her reach Xiantian?” The Qin Family Princess reasoned from her understanding.

The current one helps them reach Houtian, so does the one on top allow them to cultivate further, like Xiantian?

“What I gave her is a head start to cultivate something she is good at. The girl is a natural Soul Cultivator. Her Soul Grade is Five. 

But it’s not a complete Manual. I've been working on a complete set of arts. It will have sword, soul, movement, auxiliary arts and of course, True Essence Gathering manual.” He explained before standing up from his meditation platform. The Sword User doesn’t like sitting on the ground all the time!

He got closer to the trio and decided it was time to drop some truth bombs.

“I think it’s time for you three to learn…about Xiantian.” 

The trio perked up. Their eyes widened for a second. He knows how to reach the mythical realm of Xiantian!?

“When you reach the Pulse Condensation stage, all of your meridians connect. The True Essence began to fill up all of the body. To reach Houtian, you need to open up your Dantian.

Houtian stages are basically filling up Dantian with True Essence.”

The way he explained it made the trio think it was easy. However, they quickly realised that many people get stuck in all these stages all the time!

It was misleading… or not, as they are following him…

“Now the next part is the hurdle.” He raised his hand and showed two fingers.

“To reach Xiantian, two things need to be done.” The trio perked up, hanging on to every word.

“First is purifying the True Essence of all impurities, and I mean all impurities, switching from earth energies to heaven. It’s extremely difficult and almost impossible without the Xiantian pill.

But that is not all. Even if you have the pill, you need a True Essence Gathering Manual. A technique that allows you to arrange your Dantian.”

The trio slowly nodded. Qin Xingxuan, whose dream was to reach Xiantian, finally learned the secret of how to learn it.

“...Then we need those two things…” She commented. It would seem the only way to achieve it is to become a disciple of the Seven Profound Valleys—something she initially was planning to do anyway.

“Wrong.” He smiled while saying that.

“I created an art that once you cultivate, you will achieve Xiantian.” He dropped the bombshell.

“That’s why he was smiling like that.” Lin Fengyuan said to Lan Yunyue. The maid nodded back. It made sense to the girls. Why would he smile like that?

“The issue was purifying the True Essence. So I went with this.”

He showed them his hand as sharp gusts of wind flew around it.

“If you achieve Sharpness Intent and compress it even further, it will become the purest form of Sharpness Qi. This incredibly pure form of Qi will shred all impurities from your body.

Making the Martial Artist naturally progress to the next step.”

“...Becoming… a Xiantian!” Qin Xingxuan exclaimed in realisation! This was…genius! As expected of her darling!

“Yes, well, that’s the theory, but all the things do align to what is needed for this step.” He shrugged; he wanted to test this theory himself. To make sure it works, the whole process would continuously compress the Qi in the Dantian until the energy becomes thick and extremely pure.

According to his prediction, his version of Xiantian will be leagues above any other Xiantian who achieved that state through a pill.

“W-When can we start practising such a manual?” Qin Xingxuan is already itching to start!

“You could start now.” He replied, pulling out empty jade slips. The Sword user transferred the routines and the manual.

“The issue is that you will need to practise the sword. The learning for Sharpness is similar to Flow Like Silk. You already have that part comprehended, so this should not be as hard.” He handed the technique to her. Qin Xingxuan looked at it with awe in her eyes!

“Umm…Umm…” She then recalled something. C-Could I share these with my Grandpa and Master Miyu?” She asked. The girl recalled her Master and Grandfather’s faces when they spoke about the dreams of flying like Immortals in the skies.

“Depends on you. However, I suggest you only share them when you are strong enough to protect them.

Remember that the Seven Profound Valleys won’t look lightly on Xiantians appearing outside their influence.

They do have a monopoly over who becomes Xiantian.” 

The girl slowly nodded at him. He was right. They need to become strong first!

“While I can protect you girls as you are here with me, I can’t do that with your relatives.” He sighed while saying that.

“It’s already more than enough!” Qin Xingxuan nodded happily as she got closer and kissed him. The girl snuggled into his chest. She was radiating happiness. To think that she would achieve her dream so soon!

After snuggling, she excused herself and glided away to her cultivation spot. She looked like a child on a sugar high.

With her off, the other two looked somewhat out of place.

“...Could we achieve it? Xiantian, I mean?” Ling Fengyuan's supposed limit is Pulse Condensation Stage.

Her being with Xiao Tian Long increased her hopes of Houtian, as she could imagine that his pills would push her beyond her limit.

But Xiantian? That’s like asking pigs to fly…

“What a silly question, with your Martial Intent, your limits are practically limitless.” He rolled his eyes at her response before walking over, grabbing two of them and bringing their head closer. He started to whisper into their ears.

“Whatever those old geezers told you, forget about it. They know nothing about cultivation. What you should only care about is what I am telling you. Did you two forget the simple fact that you are mine?” He whispered while hugging them tightly.

“...yes…”

“...I understand.” 

The pair blushed as they began to feel giddy. Mythical realms? They are not fairy tales!

As he said that he slipped Jade slips into their hands.

“These are only parts of my cultivation method. Once I finish the whole thing, I expect you both to practise it to perfection," He seriously said to both of them. 

“I won’t disappoint you.” Lin Fengyuan nodded seriously. The very least she can do as his woman is to master his arts!

“That goes without question. As your maid, I shall give my all!”

The pair, invigorated, rushed to their cultivation, leaving Xiao Tian Long alone.

“Well, with that out of the way.” He stroked his chin. He has finished Big Dipper Sword, True Essence Gathering, Mindscape arts, True Essence Field, Mind Eye, 

What was left were Small Dipper Sword arts and the movement arts.

“I really did pick a badass name for it.” He hummed to himself.

“Small Dipper Polaris Three Stars… I like it.” With a nod, he walked towards the interior of the Martial House.

In one of the valleys, there is a killer array—a wind tunnel where one can practise balance and footing. But that is the very basics, as in such an area, one could grasp the Concept of Wind and go further.

As he arrived at the site, the Deacon responsible for the array scrambled to pay their respects to the future Core Disciple. 

“Senior Apprentice Xiao! How may I help you today?”

‘Senior Apprentice already? Sheesh…’ The Outworlder was surprised. He hadn’t been here over a month, yet people already called him Senior Apprentice…

“Open the Array at the Sixth level. I want to practise the concept of Wind.” 

“A-As you wish!” 

The Deacon stuttered for a second. What he was hearing was crazy to his ears. But he followed his command anyway.

“I will stay here for a while, so don’t disturb. However, please be aware that I could request an increase in level later.”

“Understood, Senior Apprentice Xiao!”

With that said, he went inside the Killer Array. It was a huge wind tunnel between two mountains. It was wide, but further down the line, the valley is much smaller, and the winds are harsher. 

The best part is that it’s chaotic, and he can begin to feel the winds.

The first thing he did was close his eyes and let himself get carried away by the wind.

Before long, he needed to flip as he was about to slam into a mountain wall.

“Close call," He mumbled under his breath. His sword's intent, sharpness, and concept of cut made him sensitive to any changes around him, including boulders and walls.

Once again, he returned to the ground and got himself comfortable and activated his Accelerator Martial Intent.

With that active, he felt like the world around him slowed down, and to further push himself, Technician Intent activated on its own.

Bit by bit, he grasped how wind flows, which he already knew from studying Geography and all the memories he inherited from the Magic Cube.

Now, he was simply applying and slowly becoming one with the wind until he began to shape the current flow as he wanted.

It was the beginning stages of his self-made movement technique, ‘Stellar Winds Crossing the Cosmos’, which he was practising and improving along the way…

“Umm… it has been over 12 hours…” The Deacon responsible for the Killer Array was in a pickle. How long is the kid planning to stay inside it!?

His limit per week is 12 hours! Yet, Xiao Tian Long just passed the limit!

The deacon was unsure what to do. He could not just leave the array controls and go inside to interrupt the greatest talent Sky Fortune City had seen in a long time.

However, an hour later, the array opened, and ruffled Xiao Tian Long walked out. His sleeves were gone, and he was barefoot, with his pants damaged up to his knees. The guy looked like a beggar.

“My apologies. It would seem it took a while.” The Sword User walked, but it looked like he was being carried by gusts of wind.

Soon enough, he was gone.
