Cang Long stared at her for a second, which made Chu Yuechan a bit uncomfortable because she had not heard an answer.

“Well? Say something!”

“I think… Yes, it’s fine.” He shook his head. Adjusting, he was surprised there!

“G-Good.” She nodded, liking his reply.

“Yes. Take a seat, get comfortable.” He motioned for her to sit on the bed.

“It will take a while.” 

The Fairy nodded as she walked over and sat on the bed. He motioned for her to sit properly, as she would be cultivating.

The beauty followed his instructions. The moment she got ready, he showed her his finger, which was glowing. She knew that it would be a technique transfer.

Sure enough, the moment he touched her forehead, her eyes turned glassy, and she felt transported somewhere.

A moment later, she saw her own consciousness. 

Chu Yuechan realised what the Dharma Body was… dreams and fantasy taken solid form. That is why it’s so flexible: it can take the shape of half a body, with only hands and other things.

The downside is that she needs to cultivate it… But then she realised something about this place!

She quickly constructed her temple, sorted her memories and created a core for Dharma Body. 

But she didn’t cultivate it.

Her eyes refocused, and then she looked at him.

She had an unreadable look on her face. She was feeling an array of strange emotions, for him to discover this and create.

He is either lucky or his talent is heaven-shattering! 

“This…this Mindscape thing… You can magnify your cultivation speed many times… if that is the case, why are you only Earth Profound?” She asked with a frown. Is he making fun of normal people? Honestly, she has no idea.

“That’s because nearly half of everything I absorb is given to Dharma Body.” He explained.

“Can I focus all of it on just increasing my cultivation?” She asked hopefully. 

“You can.”

At that moment, she felt that a boulder was removed from her heart.

“Then I wish only to increase my cultivation. I desire to regain my old power.” Chu Yuechan explained what she wanted.

“Then do it. Do what you think is right.” He shrugged at her.

“You truly are different from the rest.” The Fairy showed a very small smile. However, part of her is ‘bleeding’ as she has no idea how to repay him.

“That much is given, I am your prince.” He snorted, making her instantly grimace.

“Or not.” She rolled her eyes. What a braggard!

“Besides that point… how does this work? How do you boost the amount of Profound Energy you can absorb?” The beauty asked.

Sigh

“It will take a while, so let me explain. Formations come in all different shapes and sizes. What I did was simple: I made our bodies into boundaries of formations. More specifically for Mind Scape, when you summon Dharma Body, it doesn’t come from nowhere; we use our eyes to project it from our minds. 

Eyes work like a gateway, it means that you can summon and get back in.”

The fairy perked up as she realised what this meant.

“You can absorb Profound Energy into your mindscape!” She exclaimed in realisation.

“Precisely.” 

Chu Yuechan trembled as she got up.

“Can we start?”

“Sure, let me show you.”

He took her out of the small house. The beauty ignored the fact that she is supposed to live with a man in a very small house. Something like that would be crazy before her ‘death’ as Frozen Beauty.

The pair walked to the Cultivation Tower. He showed her where she would be cultivating. It was the number one door.

Her eyebrows perked up as she noticed how thick the profound energy was.

“I need to reach my old strength… only then can I do my duties. I hope that you can understand that," She explained to him.

Her explanation was a bit confusing for him. What kind of duties is she talking about? He doesn’t remember ordering her to do anything…

“It’s fine by me, take your time. Do what you feel is right for you.” As he said that, the Fairy showed him another small smile. That small smile made him stare at her a bit more.

He quickly snapped from that, as he gave her the way to enter the room.

Once inside, the fairy sat down on the cultivation mat and began to cultivate. At that moment, a blue aura surrounded her, and her lips morphed into a grin. Profound energy surged into her like an opened dam.

‘What absurd power.’ 

When he mentioned ‘like never before’, he was not lying. With this speed, she would reach her old realm in no time.

Chu Yuechan’s ‘death’ was immediately noticed by Frozen Cloud, as each fairy has their identification crystals. Fairies can sense other Frozen Cloud members and can tell who is their Palace Master.

Upon death or leaving Frozen Cloud, the member shatters their crystal.

It was exactly what the Fairies felt. None of them believed that Chu Yuechan would simply leave Frozen Cloud, so everyone concluded that she had died.

“Mistress!” Chu Yueli rushed in, looking worried.

“S-Sister’s crystal just shattered! Didn’t she say she would visit the capital?” the younger Chu said in worry. She looked like she could barely control her anxiety.

How could someone like her older sister get killed!?

“Indeed. I want you to take another fairy and explore the capital for any of her signs.” Gong Yuxian ordered, her voice wasn’t entirely indifferent this time around. She was worried just as much.

“We must know what happened to Chan’er!”

A pair of fairies left the Frozen Palace and went to explore the capital.

All they learned is that she bought a fire crystal and left.

Of course, they learned about the Prince bringing a bloodied woman to his Palace.

Not that they ever thought that they were related.

Why? Because in their cold, unfeeling hearts, they would never accept that a man would do something like that for a Frozen Cloud Fairy.

They all want to ravage them, that’s about it. That's how they feel about males.

So they flew around and tried to look for any sign of their Frozen Beauty. All they found was an army doing some exercises in the forest not far from the city.

With no signs of the Fairy, the pair left dissapointed and devastated.

Cang Long has underestimated how crazy women of this reality can be. 

One week, two weeks, a month… he didn’t see Chu Yuechan. He was dissapointed. He thought she would entertain his curiosity so that he could train her in formations.

He had fun training his little sister, but once she mastered the fundamentals, Cang Yue didn’t need much of his help afterwards.

With a realisation that nothing interesting would happen, he went to cultivate as well.

Around ten months later, Chu Yuechan emerged from the Cultivation Tower…

“Hmm?”

He looked around and saw a fairy float down and land in his yard.

“You need to develop a movement art," She said the first thing after not seeing him for close to a year. 

Though he could see her eyes trembling from excitement.

“It would seem you have recovered.”

“More than that. I am a Throne.” She proudly declared her new realm!

Cang Long didn’t leave his hammock; he enjoyed simply lying there. He doesn’t need to move as he can simply enter his mindscape and develop formations there for future use.

“That’s great. I reached Sky Profound, and it's enough for now.” He casually replied.

Chu Yuechan didn’t know what to say…

Not that he was interested in basic cultivation, as he immediately asked about the other thing.

“Since you focused on your basic cultivation, that leaves your Dharma Body non-existent.”

“I am starting to cultivate it now," The fairy replied. She was a bit weirded out by how different this was. It was the opposite of what she was used to.

She can use it at will, but it needs to be cultivated instead of mastered like an art. This is reversed from her old Frozen Cloud Arts.

“Good. You are part of my household; not having it is strange," He said with a smile as he got out of his hammock.

“Shall we go and have dinner?” He asked.

“You realise that I don’t need to eat by this point anymore.” The fairy replied.

“Then what do you suggest we do? Just look at each other?” Cang Long joked.

“Show me how these formations work.” She flicked her long hair. Now that she has her cultivation back, she can begin learning actual arts which she can use in a fight. 

“Oh, right to the main event?” The Formation Prince smirked.

“We should do something worthwhile instead of pointless things.” Chu Yuechan said as she looked at him.

“Oh, please, how is it that spending time together is pointless? I only saw you for a day, barely knew anything about my fairy, and then she disappeared for nearly a year!” the prince complained. His complaint got to her.

She frowned before, thinking of something. He was right, but now that she has her cultivation back, she doesn’t need to go anywhere.

“That is why I say we practise formations; we will be spending time together, " she reasoned.

“Alright. Let’s start from the basics.” He motioned for her to come with him.

The pair walked out of the yard and into the streets of the Inner Palace before moving to the Middle Palace.

The sheer change from ghost town to busy city was enormous. The number of people in the Middle Palace was in the tens of thousands, compared to a hundred in the Inner Palace.

Cang Long smirked for a second as he took her hand and pulled the fairy closer.

Chu Yuechan frowned as she looked at him. She wondered what he was doing. Her normal reaction would be to freeze to death anyone who randomly touches her. Sadly, she doesn’t have such arts anymore.

“What ARE you doing?” Instead, she asked in an annoyed tone.

“Holding MY Fairy, you have no idea how boring it was without you. When you were healing, I came up with a list of things I would show you about my art.

But then—”

“I understand. But as I said, I needed to regain my power.” She sighed. It seemed she had done more damage than she thought. Thankfully, she could now focus on doing what she promised.

“Precisely, and now we are doing what you suppose to do.” He brought her even closer.

“You are my fairy, and everyone needs to know that you belong to this Prince.” He clenched her waist as a small blush began to creep on her cheeks.

When he says it with such a straight face, it starts affecting her.

Weirdly enough, no one knew who this gorgeous fairy was around the Prince. All they could tell was that she was very beautiful and very strong.

None of them thought that it was Chu Yuechan. It would have been obvious if she had ice spirits around her, alongside traditional blue and white snow robes. 

In addition, her hairstyle is a bit different now, as she has loose hair without any hairpins or ornaments.

“Who is this woman!?” The girls in Middle Palace gnashed their teeth. Many of them joined the Palace just to have a single glance at the Prince.

And now, when they do, they learn the ugly truth that he has a woman! 

“No idea. It’s probably that bloodied woman he saved. It would seem she is a strong expert.”

The students reasoned, "If this is true, the Imperial Family now has two Thrones. It’s crazy. That makes them stand at the same level as the other Four Top Sects."

They, of course, don’t count the Prince as he stands in a league of his own. People tend to gloss him over as he is simply not understandable by normal measures.

“Just Great…” The girl sighed in resignation, causing the guy next to her to laugh.

“What did you think he would notice you?” He joked, making her blush in anger.

“You!!! I will beat you up!”

“Not only will he not notice you, but he will be appalled by your barbaric behaviour!” He laughed even more. The girl roared as she summoned a formation of fire.

‘It's just great; people now use my art for petty squabbles, ’ Cang Long noticed. Oh, he did. Not that he would pay attention to these girls; there were thousands of them…

No hundred thousand, in such a situation, he will pick the one he wants instead of being shoved down his throat.
