BoW:ATG Xia Qingyue Part 10

Jun Lianqie called forth her profound energy. The response was instantaneous. Her eyes trembled. She felt it was amazing! 

With such a flow of Profound Energy, she will fly through cultivation realms! 

Forget about Throne! Even Overlord will be easy for her!

‘Truly! Alchemists are the greatest asset in the whole wide world!’ The fairy gushed internally. This was the greatest gift to her!

“Lord Long! This is incredible. I have no idea how I could pay you back for this. The only thing I could think of is giving you at least two children, " she declared in a serious tone.

“Two?”

“One for the ice removal and second for Heavenly God’s Spiritual Veins.” Jun Lianqie explained to him.

“What if I want three or five?” He said with a raised eyebrow.

“...No problem. As many as you want.” She smiled at him as she placed her hand on her waist. She was naked, didn’t dress up after finishing the acupuncture. 

She went to check her new veins and how well profound energy responds to her.

“I see. However, I don’t want to get tired like last night.” He had already had sex two times today. He still wants to have energy for other things, like improving the Profound Energy Gathering Formation.

“Then what can I do?” She was a bit disappointed. It's not that she gave up. Nope, she will have her chance to reward him, but she may get knocked up!

By this point, it’s the only thing that she cares about, her greatest desire, now that cultivation is no longer an issue for her.

“Help me relax.” He turned around and looked around. Sadly, he doesn’t see any good places to sit.

“How?”

“Dress up first.”

Jun Lianqie slowly nodded before walking over and collecting her blue and white robes. She slowly dressed up before walking over to him.

Xiao Long looked for a place to sit. Eventually, he found a nice spot under a tree.

He took Jun Lianqie’s hand and took her outside. He sat down under a tree and then pulled her into his lap. 

The girl somewhat understood what he wanted. Sadly, she had no idea what to do next. Regardless, Xiao Long hugged her willow waist while making her sit sideways.

He then closed his eyes and began to relax. The Alchemist never expected to be this busy. He took these skills as an extra when he had free time.

But it became reversed, now he is surrounded by females who want him to make pills for them.

It’s crazy, but only now does he have a bit of time to relax.

“Do you want me to do something?” The girl eventually asked him. 

“All you need to do is let me hug you while I relax. It’s not difficult, right?” He replied without opening his eyes.

“Yes. I understand, but there is something I could do more in this situation. I feel that this doesn’t feel adequate.” She replied with a frown. It doesn’t feel right. This is something any woman could do!

“Then bring me some fruits. I don’t mind snacks.” 

Jun Lianqie’s eyes brightened as she swiftly got up and disappeared with her Sky Profound Ten Cultivation.

Less than five minutes later, she was back.

“I have what you requested of me.” The beauty was holding a bowl full of fruits.

“Come.” He motioned for her to return to his lap. The fairy didn’t hesitate as she once again was back in his lap.

“Now feed me, Qie’er. I will teach you what else girls can do for their man.” 

She slowly nodded as he got comfortable and prepared to serve him to the best of her abilities!

With a small smile, she started to get into this. She never thought it could be this interesting! She was feeding a man while resting in his lap.

After a while, Xia Qingyue had her breakthrough. She reached Spirit Profound Two. She did that in a matter of a few short days. What surprised her was that she didn’t cultivate much all those days! Yet, she still had her breakthrough!

When she opened her eyes, she saw Xiao Long with Jun Lianqie all lovely dovely under a tree!

A frown appeared on her face. The longer this happens, the more annoyed she is that she needs to share him with women! Thankfully, he doesn’t want them all at once like those Emperors through the Sky Profound Continent.

The girl bit her lip before standing up and walking to the pair.

“Husband, I had a breakthrough.” She got his attention as she sat down next to him.

He put his free hand to her waist and pulled her closer.

“It's Good to know that the formation is doing what it is supposed to do.” He said before expanding further that he had ideas about how to improve it further.

“But it’s only a basic formation; I already have ideas about how to improve it," He told the pair.

“Hn, it’s already good.” The girl reasoned. It was already better than anything she knew. 

“Yes, it was good for two. But now I have a harem, so I need to improve it.” He sighed while looking at eager Jun Lianqie. How could he say no when a beauty is trying this hard?

Xia Qingyue sighed internally. She now understood what he meant, but she had no guts to keep him to herself after what she had done on the wedding day.

She messed up, even if her husband forgave her, she won’t forgive herself.

“Then I can help!” Jun Lianqie perked up. “ As Sky Profound, I can help with resources, beat Profound Beasts for you.” The beauty explained, she is not that useless! She has a high cultivation realm! There are very few cultivators who can match her in the Blue Wind Empire!

“There is not much to do. If I were making classic formation, I would need Profound Cores. But this is different. I use a style I developed myself.

I started with a small injection of Profound energy before a snowball effect took over.” He explained to her, his hand stroking her back.

Jun Lianqie was a bit disappointed.

“But if you feel that you need to help, you can collect raw materials for me in your free time.” He suggested, and she immediately perked up.

“I can do that too.” Xia Qingyue chipped in.

“No, you are not going anywhere.” He sharply declined her, making her tremble for a second.

“But…”

“You have my child, so stay put and behave like my proper wife. Your job is different now," He explained to her. All she could do was slowly nod several times, and her cheeks got rosy. 

“I understand, husband.” 

He squeezed her waist, making her snuggle into his shoulder and relax.

‘Maybe this is not so bad.’ The girl thought to herself.

But this was when Jun Lianqie realised how things worked with him. If she gets pregnant, she won’t be able to help him that easily. 

From the looks of it, she won’t allow her to do anything strenuous.

After another hour of cuddling, Xiao Long decided to do some work. It was way past midway, and the sun was starting to settle down, so he needed to do a couple of things.

As he worked, Xia Qingyue went to cook dinner for him. Chu Yueli joined midway as she felt she should pursue this route if she wanted to be something more.

She is realising, bit by bit, that he is even more than all of the high expectations she has put on him.

That is why she is trying harder than ever before.

It only left the eager Jun Lianqie, who wanted to help him in any way.

“Since you want to help, I want you to fill these rocks with Profound Energy.” He handed over rocks with carved symbols on them.

The girl slowly nodded as she took the offered stones. Then, she started channelling her energy into them.

She noticed the letters began to glow as the stone started to…change. It was morphing into something different.

“What are these stones?” she asked him curiously. After a while, the stone stopped absorbing her profound energy.

“Anchors and guiders.” He explained to her. “They pick up on the already existing formation and add more functions.

Imagine it’s a complex organism. Before, it was only bones, but all these extras add more functions.

Like isolation, fortifications, diverters, and all that stuff, " he explained to her. The girl gawked at the stone she was holding; she didn’t expect it to be that complex!

Regardless, she continued to pour her profound energy into other stones. However, she quickly realised she doesn’t have enough energy to refine all of them!

“Take a break and recover your profound energy.” He noticed her struggling, so he told her to take a break. The girl slowly nodded as she returned the stone to him.

They walked to the formation and began to recover. Given the dense, profound energy in the formation, it would take her a few short hours.

But by the time she was done recovering, Xiao Long had already completed his upgrades to the stones and was thinking of placing them in strategic locations.

“Wait! Let me come with you," The beauty appeared next to him. “You are an alchemist; it won’t take long for the rest of the Empire to find out about you,” Jin Lianqie said in a serious tone. 

“I guess.” Xiao Long nodded nonchalantly. He isn’t afraid, not because of the book, but because of the alteration to the reality he created.

Even most greedy people will look at him favourably. These aloft fairies throwing themselves into him is proof. 

Regardless, he can’t say no to a girl who wants to spend time with him that eagerly.

The pair went outside his pavilion and started with the clan’s grounds. Jun Lianqie assisted him with stone placements. Since she could fly, the girl could place them in higher places.

The fairy was surprised that once she did that, she could feel a fundamental shift in formation and the flow of profound energy.

Not only that, but once the stone was in place, she couldn’t move it so easily!

It’s like it became extremely heavy!

“Won’t they damage the buildings?”  She asked him as she landed on the ground.

“No, they are area-locked. This means that you are trying to influence the flow of energy. When you try to move the stone, you feel the bluntness of the entire Profound energy network.

It’s a security measure. The more stones we place, the more stable and secure the formation is.” He explained to her before he took her hand.

The beauty slowly nodded before she slightly blushed at how forward he was with her. She felt flustered from happiness that he had so quickly accepted her as his lover.

The pair continued to walk around the clan territory and place the stones.

“Umm, is it fine when they are not refined like that?” She looked at a regular stone in her hands. The only thing it had was a glowing symbol.

“Like I said, they will power themselves and refine once they are part of the network. While it will take a while for them to self-refine, they will still do their job.”

“Oh…” She thought she did a good job, but it wasn’t that much…

“Relax. You helped me, and your help accelerated the process. It’s all that matters.” He stroked her back while saying that.

He slowly nodded, still a bit disappointed. Regardless, she will have her chance!

The pair continued to explore the clan grounds, and their adventure was well noticed. Word had spread that their clan’s crippled was, in fact, an alchemist who fixed his veins.

It was a crazy story to the clansmen, but the beauty around him and her absurd cultivation was the proof of this outlandish story.

A certain Young Master was breathing in relief that he didn’t try to poison Xiao Long. He felt that it was a divine intervention! 

Otherwise, he wouldn’t be alive anymore! It’s well known that alchemists have arrays of methods to defend against something basic like poison!
