Fionaland #1

As some of you may or may not know, I'm trans. I came out two years ago and had my name changed to Fiona. It was a whole new world for me and drastically changed my views on... everything. I wanted to capture the emotions and experiences I've had since coming out, so I've done this free strip which I'll work on when time allows, to express those experiences.

I didn't know if anyone here would care to read it, since it's not fetishy, but I figure what's the harm. It's free.

It really sucks that so much of our language around groups is masculine not gender neutral. Like "how are you guys doing" is very common when addressing a mixed gender group. I try to remember to swap in more neutral terms like "folks" but its not entirely a habit yet. Often our words have far more impact than we know or realise.

*Big hug!* And I'm always grateful for that ^.^

Fiona

It can cripple me for the rest of the day. I have very low self-esteem and terrible social anxiety. I've learned to grow thicker skin by neccessity, but these little things really sabotage me.

Fiona

At least you apologize. That's more than what I get in most instances.

Fiona

I think this is a great idea! Looking forward to reading more :)

LlamaMaster

I have been guilty of being the bearded guy in the past. I *know* what to do, but sometimes the unconscious programming slips past, and I have to apologise for being insensitive.

Brett Mount

That can really kill your good mood. Even if it was just meant as a generic greeting without thinking by the person saying it.

Wild Card

*Big hug* I'm good for that, at least.

Joshua Workman

Thank you Sir, I'm hoping so as well! I appreciate the longstanding support <3

Fiona

I'm hoping it will help other girls like me know they're not alone in these experiences.

Fiona

It was on purpose. He had a very smug look.

Looking forward to #2! ❤️❤️❤️

The Sexy Beast

Hi, I am looking forward to this strips in-between. I'd like to say that it lightens the shedule up, but that would be worong, but I expect them to be "simpler". "Simpler" in the senses of less story and background-infos (but still some continuety, because it is from your real life). :-) Greetings Juy Juka

Oh, and as a matter of fact, I work as a hotel concierge, so I HAVE to greet the guests properly.

Lomond

It wouldn’t have been so bad if he’d just simply went “Morning.”. It would at least have acknowledged you, even if he didn’t know how to properly address you. But to add “brother” as a reply.......(face palm).

Lomond

Thank you.

I love it! Im also Transgender female n i totally get this potential series ^_^

Roxy-wolfie

I have several trans friends. I care for them a lot but I'm not privy to what they've gone through, especially in the early days of saying, "Yes, this is who I am." So please continue with this as you can to help my understanding of their experience.

Robert McGann

I love these but I also wanna smack flannel dude with a pair of glasses and make him open his goram eyes.

Vixandra

YAY You!!! Keep this up, it may help more than just you. It reminds me of another artist I enjoy deeply that decided to start talking about his depression. It helps those of us who don't understand how hard it is get even a small glimpse into what you go through on a daily basis. Follow your heart, the rest of the world be damned if they can't understand it.

This is excellent, I'm glad you are trying to express your experiences and I hope that they can help others gain some understanding.
