Added 2019-06-20 17:09:42 +0000 UTCSorry for the delay everyone. This week threw a lot of curve balls. And I didn't help by writing a script that emphasized an interior background. I'm terrible at backgrounds. TERRIBLE. Panel 3, for all it's simplicity there is why this strip gave me so much trouble. I envisioned a location then had no idea how to actually render it. But it's so crucial to the plot I had to hammer through it. I hope it's somewhat presentable and does what it's supposed to. At the very least I framed the whole thing around Laura's butt.
And now even more real talk! My partner's surgery is coming up on the 1st of July. They'll be removing a fairly large tumor from her colon that will have lasting consequences for our life. She'll be in the hospital for a week during which time I will be busy running to and fro and probably spending a great deal of time helping her keep her spirits up. When she gets home, she rests for 8 weeks and then begins the serious treatment. They'll be putting a port into her heart and administering the chemo directly into the blood stream. This is the clean up phase, where they try to kill off any of the cancer that may have gotten out into the body. We'll have a better idea of her long term survival chances afterwards.
This strip is not a charity, so while y'all are paying me, I'm going to keep producing stuff. For the month of July however, I don't know what kind of time I'm going to have to work with. So I'm going to keep making strips when I can, but where I can't, I'm going to do standalone BDSM and fetish art. Kinda like some of my favorite fetish artists do. By August, I figure things will have found their footing here again and I can resume for sure weekly updates. So yeah. July will be a crapshoot as to what content I produce. It'll either be strips or standalone art, but I *will* continue to produce content. I hope this doesn't drive any of you away. I honestly can't afford to lose Patrons these days XD
