Cool, managed to get that piece of fanart I mentioned I was working on a few posts back done before you actually revealed what happened. (it's posted on DA) Loving all the Blackstone speculation so far. :)

Yeah, it seems like the shared subspace theory is certainly gaining a lot of ground here, given Laura and the others are still all dressed up in their casual outfits; since Blackstone would almost certainly have taken the time to change them into some clothes which would better suit her personal tastes, if all of them had really been transported to Europe! Alexia is certainly looking extremely freaked out right now though, upon her having caught sight of Blackstone once more and given her past experiences with the woman, that's certainly a perfectly understandable reaction to have; especially given how Alexia must have been hoping that both of their paths would never cross each other again... But I do have to wonder, how exactly did Blackstone (or the being that is controlling her) manage to avoid Nora's attack, given that it should have been impossible for anyone to avoid an almost point blank range shot? Either Blackstone (or one of her allies that we have not seen yet) has the ability to create some extremely realistic looking illusion which tricked Nora into missing her target, they are able to project their spirit and other powers over extremely long distances (so shooting it did not do anything), or she's able to take control of the bodies of all those people she's claimed as hers; while altering them to look like her chosen form and then use these as mere puppets (meaning Variscite's been taken out by Nora instead); with her having another proxy nearby due to taking Michelle over.

Some-one seems to be missing a gaping head-wound, considering the point blanc range that Nora apparently fired from. Unless almost everything up to this point has been in sub-space, the "it was all a dream" twist.

the only thing that makes sense to me is that they're all (still) in subspace, and this is a manifestation of Blackstone imposing an image of her manor on them in there -- there's no way they could have been physically removed from Sixx's place in the american north west and transported to "france" or wherever Blackstone lives. (In that case, what happened in the real world with Sixx and Nora et al...?)
