Fair enough.
Being conscious of your choices, and alternatives, feels like it takes some of the romance out of art as well.
And knowing how the trick is done removes all the magic!
Which is why I enjoy consuming than producing.

I don't think it's my place to comment on the accuracy of her conclusions, partly because of spoilers, but also because some things are going to naturally have multiple valid interpretations.

Aaron, do you want to comment on how accurate Eve was with her assessment?
I'm plebian in my consumption of media and I don't actively notice all that stuff going on, but enjoyed reading the article anyway.
I've enjoyed your style, and especially enjoyed the quality improvements when you compare it to your earlier work. The style is still the same but the level of detail and linework is delicious.

This article really nailed a lot of things I hadn't been able to put my finger on about DC. I've quit reading most webcomics (I've gone from about 150 comics 5 years ago to 5 now) and Dresden Codak has stayed in my short list mostly because of the scale of the story being told. Excellent stuff.

I am ashamed to admit that I missed a lot of the symbolism Eve identifies in this comic. Well done Aaron for being awesome.
