I'm adopting a 'new strip every 4 days' approach to handling my comic making. Believe it or not (and largely due to my lack of any real training and be a total hack), each one of these strips now takes me roughly 3-4 days. I want to ensure I have time to really finish a strip instead of rushing out an unpolished thing I'll be ashamed of (like most of the strips from the days when I was trying to handle 5 weekly updates).
I want to take a second to thank all of you who upped to the 5$ mark and beyond. Y'all are keeping me happily working on these things and coffeed up to keep at it! To say nothing of keeping me with a roof over my head! Thank you everyone, your support means everything to me both emotionally and otherwise. Thank you. <3
And now for cartoonist blabbering time:
Sorry for the delay everyone. I'm still dealing with random seizures, but they're more of an inconvenience at this point, whereas the first round of them (Friday night and Saturday throughout) were some of the strongest I've ever experienced. I cannot properly convey to anyone how weird it feels to be bombarded with random fragments of memories and thoughts as your brain misfires. Suffice to say, it's just... weird. And scary. But enough whining from me!
I expected the first panel to be a lot prettier than it turned out, but I guess it does the job of establishing, "Hey, we're all here in front of Blackstone's stables and the sun's coming up." Trina and Sixx's relationship never gets tiring to me. It's a complicated one for Trina (less so for Michelle) and I'm of course going to take this opportunity to complicate more because of course I am. >.>
I also want to assure everyone that I'm not the sort of gal who writes 'bad ending' scenarios. So while our girls may go through some serious trials here, it won't break the family. These girls are my hopes and dreams, really. And a girl needs her dreams.

Thank you for the well wishes! I'm trying to find a good balance between work life and general lifestuff. These things take a lot of time because of how outdated my methods are ultimately. Trina's memories are fully intact, but they're being viewed through a mind that's been unnaturally twisted to force everything through a lens of absolute Dominance. So Trina has essentially opted to see them from completely wrong angles. In short, she's confirming her biases through sheer wrongness. Blackstone is the peak villain of my storylines. There's a real reason she's ridiculously powerful, she can't be defeated DBZ style and the characters have to grow and endure throughout this storyline if they hope to shed their proverbial (and literal) chains. I have to say, I really am enjoying writing this.

I just try my best to make whatever I'm doing look decent~ Sometimes the coloured line art doesn't have a background drawn into it, I overlay it, but othertimes I can't separate them I'm afraid. Also as you surmised, she delights in peering into a person's soul, finding a weakness then bringing that full to the surface. She's something of a psycholigical sadist. She's also heartless and ridiculously powerful just in terms of raw physical potency. They can't just punch her into defeat as has been the case with pretty much every villain I've had them encounter until this point. This will, I hope, force me to write better content.

We'll understand if you need to slow down with your work. And wow, Blackstone's mental abilities are certainly scary impressive, with them being able to twist Trina's recollection of past events to something which suits Blackstone's purposes (namely making it so that Trina seems to think that there was a submissive side to Michelle [something which wasn't actually true then] which she had failed to bring out; during their sessions where Michelle was in the submissive role, with their current situation now being her second chance at succeeding at bringing out this hidden side of Michelle), while still having some element of truth to all these altered events! While Trina had seemed to be genuinely upset about her failure at getting a real submissive reaction from Michelle at the time (from her expression and reaction in the flashback, even with events being shown from Michelle's POV, so we didn't know Trina's precise feelings on the matter), she seemed to have gotten over it once it was revealed to her and those who were running Michelle's exam to claim her mom's position as Mistress Sixx that she just so happened to a totally dominant soul; with this revelation meaning that, despite everything Trina had done while trying to stack things in her favor (like using Michelle's love for latex clothing to get her aroused), nothing was actually going to work... Now though? It seems like Blackstone has tweaked Trina's memories to block her knowledge about Michelle's perfect dominant soul (with this change meaning that Trina currently thinks she'd failed to bring the submissive side of Michelle out, so her getting a second chance to do so is a dream come true), while Blackstone has also ensured that Michelle now actually HAS a submissive side for Trina to successfully bring out (Blackstone switching around Michelle's energies to be 100% submissive). And Blackstone's plan seems to be working perfectly, given the strained expression on Michelle's face in the last panel! She has clearly realized that, while her mind is still wanting to resist whatever Blackstone's plan is, her own body has got a very different idea about what it's wanting to happen...

I must say, i like more your old style (old middle, in fact, after Xor's defeat ), but also, must admit, your new style, much more improved, and flashy. More impressive. You make great self improvement job. I express my deepest respect to you, for that. Also, can i ask you one more thing? Can you post, alongside with BW picture, same, but colored girls (and boys))), without background, and text bubbles, like on last untexted pannel with Sixxx? I like it so much! Your own personal health and wellbeing, along with all those people that are closest to you in your personal life, should always come first; that alright? Anyway, back to the story itself and it's amazing how Blackstone's able to twist Trina's mind about to such an extent, that she's either totally forgotten the fact that Michelle had been originally a 100% dominant person (so trying to get any kind of genuine submissive reaction out of Michelle was a futile task to begin with) or she now thinks there had been a hidden submissive side which was hidden deep within Michelle she had failed to reach last time; so she sees this whole situation as a second chance to complete the old goal. Of course, it also seems like there might also be a certain element of truth to this version of events, since Trina had actually looked fairly frustrated at her failure to get a proper submissive reaction out of Michelle; despite everything which she had done to try and stack the odds in her favor, namely using Michelle's intense love for latex to get her into the proper mindset; so Blackstone could easily have made Trina's new persona focus more on that aspect of their encounter (we have also only seen the conversation from Michelle's own perspective during that flashback sequence, so it could easily have been the case Trina had felt really frustrated at the time, her only gaining more perspective on the event later on)! And it also looks like Michelle's willpower is beginning to struggle slightly, given the expression which she's making in the last panel of the comic, as her newly awakened submissive side (combined with Trina's handling slowly coaxing it out of her) is slowly starting to gain some ground, with it starting now to overpower Michelle's natural inclination to just dig her heels in and stubbornly resist all of Blackstone's attempts to make her submit fully to their whim... And that's certainly a nice touch you seem to have pulled off here: with you having changed the color of the comic's logo to a shade of blue (just like you've done in the Collared 6 comics, but slightly different), will the comic logo potentially be changing color again?

2019-10-15 16:07:56 +0000 UTCThis comic was both visually attractive and really engaging from a narrative stand point. Seeing Trina's new perspective on her time spent trying to teach Sixx how to be submissive shows gives some strong hints of how she has been twisted by Blackstone. Because we previously had been told what had been happened during that time, we the readers can see how it conflicts with this version of the events. Yet this version carries that seed of plausibility that makes it so hard to ignore. That had always felt like Blackstone's strength, or at least my interpretation of it. She finds the smallest foot hold in the targets mind and then uses that foothold to go to town. Really enjoying this so far. I'm excited to see this journey unfold. I'm so sorry to hear about the seizures. I'm glad they aren't as bad as they were on Friday and Saturday but that still sucks. You're plan to post every fours days sounds really good, especially because it is the system that will work best for you. Health and wellbeing should always come first. You also deserve the time to be able to finish things to level your satisfied with rather than trying to twist your self in knots to hit an arbitrary deadline. I love your work, you are a great creator.

I was worried that you might be overworking yourself by trying to do two strips a week, but you've taken time to analyze how long it takes to do these, and re-planned your schedule accordingly. If you can do one strip every 4 days and generally keep to that schedule, more power to you. Regular means what you need it to be, not what any calendar says. Hang in there.
