I Don't Want To Be a Succubi's Rubberdoll! #01

I... am not happy with this at all. In my head it sounded so exciting. A fetish game with high stakes involving two girls in thigh high boots competing on treadmills. Then I realized the hard way that I can't draw treadmills. Like, at all. But the idea was hammered into my head and I decided I was going to do it come hell or high water. So this is the result. Aaaaaand it blows. I'm going to do the next page in this as my next 5$ tier strip and I'm going to do everything I can to make it actually good.

Mrgh.

New C6 will go up Wednesday everyone. Sorry for the delay on this one. And sorry it didn't turn out like I envisioned it.

“National Treas-“ here, have a like.

LlamaMaster

From the first National Treasure movie: Ben Gates: You know, Thomas Edison tried and failed nearly 2,000 times to develop the carbonized cotton-thread filament for the incandescent light bulb. Riley Poole: Edison? Ben: And when asked about it, he said "I didn't fail; I found out 2,000 ways how not to make a light bulb," but he only needed one way to make it work.

Both of those treadmills look just fine to me personally, it's clear what they are meant to be. There's no need at all to beat yourself up over, since we all think that you've done a wonderful job here! Although, I am certainly curious to see more and which one of these two challengers are going to end up losing and being turned into our host's plaything for (maybe there will be a poll for us to choose who actually ends up surviving this challenge)... Wonder what exactly her backstory is (I'm referring to the host here) though and if we might get to learn some more about her, during the periods which take place between each of her challenges? And certainly going to be very interesting to see how exactly the wishes that some of our winners make might play out, even if we might only see a part of them (either the beginning or the end result). But no pressure there! I can even see some winners potentially using their newly acquired wish (all depending on what their reason for taking part in their challenge was) in such a way that our host might not have expected, like: "I wish to stay with you forever"... Then again, who knows what may happen next in this comic (apart from the creator themselves)?

At first when you said “I can’t draw treadmills.”, I thought you meant drawing it as a physical item as opposed to speed/ movement effects.

Lomond

Three in a row on time (as adjusted -- you gave advance warning so it's still on time). You're doing great, you should be proud of your self. Nothing wrong with those treadmills -- they're just "moving sidewalks" of the kind you find in airports. Don't let the "perfect" be the enemy of the "good enough" -- this is fine.

Great Scott

I wonder what happens if they fall at the same time.

Stefan J Neylon

Blue costume has totally got this.

Brett Mount

I think it came out OK. But if there’s something like this you don’t feel confident about drawing, you could always write a piece of short fiction instead.

Amyphist

Honestly, if you haven’t said anything, I wouldn’t have even glanced twice at the treadmill as the competitors are the main focus. Looking forward to the next page..

Vixandra

Honestly, I really like this. The concept is cool, and while I agree with Jack that doing movement in art is just hard in general, I think you did the best you could. Looking forward to the rest of this arc!

LlamaMaster

Looks just fine to me. It can be hard to interpret a moving platform in art. You did just fine, and looking forward to the fate of both!
