I think you're spot on here. C6 is just the sum title of a bunch of elements that resonate the strongest with me. I guess I do need a break from the usual fare at times, but I always come back to C6. It's been a part of my life for so long, even before it was C6 that it's just the natural... expression of my self and my interests. I really appreciate the insightful discussion here Latrimer. An outside perspective helps me better understand myself.

2022-04-26 02:19:39 +0000 UTCFiona, each time you've been uncertain which direction you should go, you've returned to C6. That tells me this story is most important to you. It's where your heart is. At times, you need a break from it and that's understandable. Julia, Winterland Dolls and a few others have been unrelated and very different than C6. Others like Collared6, CB and L6 are variations where you reimagine the people of C6 in new situations, roles and personalities. All of this helps with creativity. I forget exactly how they said it, but a writer said you don't stop working completely if you get writer's block. You do something different until you figure out the solution, either consciously or subconsciously. Give your team the chance to do different things and breaks as you need them. They are Fiona the writer, Fiona the illustrator and Fiona the colorist. One person, multiple roles. All of which will need help every once in a while. It's only natural.
