C6 #1251 - Inks

Before anyone says it, yeah, Evita is missing the right side of her hair in panel 1. I was in a rush to get this up before medical stuff tomorrow and missed it. Rest assured, when the finished strip lands this weekend her hair will be fully intact~

And uh, yeah, I'm back! Not sure about sticking with the schedule I announced last week as it sometimes interferes with the creative process. Also my schedule gets changed around a lot due to therapists, doctors and my own poor mental health. That said, I am returning to weekly updates at the very least. This comic not only keeps me fed and housed (alright, well let's be real, y'all do that and I'm grateful to you all for it) but it also gives me a purpose and direction in life that I am otherwise without.

And as much as I love talking, the Suflav I just chugged is starting to kick in. Got an endoscopy/colonoscopy tomorrow at noon that I have to drink this god awful stuff to prepare for. Still not as bad as Everclear, I have to admit. Alright, I'm just babbling now. Love y'all! See y'all this weekend (probably Sunday if I'm being realistic) with the finished strip~ Love y'all~! And wish me luck tomorrow lol~

Each of us is here to support you. If anyone is demanding you create art on a rigid schedule, that's a problem with them, not you. I know you have the obligation to create it because we individually pledge a very small amount to you each month, but for the most part, you meet that obligation and you may not realize you are. The tier that most people joined says the following: "Gain access to new Collar6 strips as often as I can make them, which is usually several times a month." It doesn't say "finished Collar6 strips", which may be what you're thinking of. It says "new Collar6 strips". If you can make two a month, finished or not, you've met that obligation. "usually several times a month" is an advisory statement that means you can be flexible in the actual number. Personally, I count the pieces of each strip you share with us as part of that obligation. I like seeing the background work that goes into each strip. So far in this month, we have the pencils and inks for strip #1251, with the completed strip arriving later. Sometimes we'll get six pieces: pencils, inks, colors + effects, a close-up picture, an assembled strip, and then the finalized strip with dialogue and/or action texts ("CRACK", "THOOM"). That's good, too, but not mandatory. If it will help reduce the load of the obligation you feel, you could change the wording for that tier to something like "Gain access to new Collar 6 artwork as often as I can make them." Then no matter what you post and no matter how often you post, you meet the obligation.

I prefer it to happen when it’s ready. No need for a set schedule. We all know how difficult it is

Just look after you - everything else will follow. That said, I think as we reach towards the heroes overcoming their current set of predicaments, it might get a tiny bit easier.

Personally I feel you should do at minimum scheduled updates on you and how close you might be done to the next step for the strip. Save yourself the stress
