Added 2025-06-01 17:23:55 +0000 UTCFor the life of me I could not get Blackstone's face to look right in panel 2. Took me three hours of messing with it in Photoshop to make it halfway presentable. I considered cutting it I was so frustrated at one point. But I really needed it for infodump/exposition stuff so I forced my way through. And I hope y'all won't mind me indulging my DBZ obsession with the last panel. For the record, the heavy black lines around Xor's eyes there are to match his sister's. Only after the inking was done did I realize it's like Majin Vegeta's eyes. Oi.
Anyways.
I'm gonna start having my updates land on weekends, usually Sunday. If I get it done early I'll go on and post it on Saturdays, but I think Sunday is best for me right now. And uh, yeah, that's about it for my rambling! I hope y'all are enjoying this convoluted-ass story. I can safely say I really enjoyed drawing panel 3 specifically~ I'll see y'all back here a week from now with a new one! Love you everyone and hope you're all having a great weekend!

2025-06-04 09:50:20 +0000 UTCWell then, it certainly seems like Xor's willing to go straight back to what he'd been doing the last time he had an actual body, even if that didn't work out too well for him? But I'm getting the feeling Blackstone will nip that line of thinking in the bud pretty quick, since she knows how badly his preferred methods had turned out the last time around and that her own way of doing things will end up being far more successful and also feel much more satisfying for both of them in the long term, even if Xor may not actually agree with her at the moment (but with some room to change his mind later on, once he does see Michelle's current situation). Still, certainly seems like he's after getting a quick grasp on remastering his powers, thanks to this new body being almost identical to his original one in some ways; except for a higher power celling for him to play around with and being less likely to burn it out when he uses a few of his bigger moves! Which is REALLY bad news when it comes to anyone who ends up having to fight against him, unless he gets overly cocky and starts toying around with them...
