And here we have it, finally! I wanted to get the book open in this page, but it required an actual set up and I didn't want to just cram it together in like three panels so I did my best to keep it speedy while still building towards the inevitable reveal of what's inside the book.
After several years of expectation building for more of this, I was worried a bit about coming back to it. I didn't want to let anyone down. I hope everyone enjoys this, and I'm sorry if y'all don't. I always try to do better page to page, even if it doesn't always turn out better.
I've included some bonus material, including some pencil versions of the panels, and some panels that didn't even appear (and which may or may not spoil what's inside the book~). You'll notice in one panel there's a bunch of tools sitting around the tome. That's because I drew that panel, forgetting that I'd changed the script. In the original, it had been implied that Julia had tried to pry the book open out of frustration. I cut this out in order to streamline the plot so we wouldn't have several more panels of exposition.
I also couldn't decide on a panel format and wound up splicing up a few bigger ones to fit into a more traditional layout. I've included them as one of the untexted versions. I also included the regular untexted version. There's no BnW one this time because I wind up doing this one in various panels rather than all as one the way I usually do. Apologies to anyone who enjoys those.
