JPDE enters 2017 with a blast! FIRST GOAL REACHED!

Hello there, Meinos Kaen here and happy new year! Hoping 2017 doesn't take away any more icons of music and acting, I wanted to use this platform to thank you thank you thank you for your support!

December has been the best month for JPDE yet, especially in the funding area. Between the release of 1.0 and the new year, you literally doubled the donations all the way through the first threshold, which means that as long as it stays up I will be able to get you one Route Event every month.

If you haven't voted to decide who the Route and Character for January will be, go do it right now! Now, for a couple public service announcements.

First, the goals have been modified. From now they will not be about affordable content but they will be about characters and routes. Instead of 'this goal allows me 1 of these, 2 of those and 3 of these', it will be 'this goal allows 2 route events every month'. This game's completion will be measured on those, after all, so I should think about goals in terms of  filling JPDE with the basic content needed for more Route Events.

I've also reduced the amount of goals because, as things are now, with me having a job and the rest of real life, two character events on top of one story event are what I feel I will be able to work on properly each month. One compliment I was humbled by in the last month was that they didn't expect a fan visual novel to be this well made and written. To keep that same level of quality I can't bite more than I can chew and spread my focus too thin.

I invite you to check the update goals and give me your feedback on them. I left the 675$ Goal blank because I have an idea for what it could become but I think it would be better to focus on the first three for now. If the time ever comes to think about the fourth goal, I want to discuss what its content will be with my Patreons.

Once again, thank you so much for your support. It humbles me so much that in just three months JPDE has already reached its first goal and even got a mention on the Awesome section of RWBY's TvTropes page . Let's hope we get a TvTropes page of our own in 2017! :P
